Hey Airline - I'm with Kelly. I'd be going with delivery Monday too if it was me. I've heard of it. Didn't know about the inducing at 37 weeks though. Good luck with it all hun. Airline - Wow - I guess this won't be the easiest of weekends for you to get through. If it was really urgent I'm sure your ob wouldn't have sent you home for a few days. Like Kelly said - if you can feel him moving then all is ok - get to the hospital asap if that changes. I will be holding my breath for you and hope that all goes well on Monday. I had an induction at around 38 weeks and it all went well - just got to hold my baby sooner. Good luck if yours happen next week xxx
Kelly - so your ob has finally realised what we all knew - that your boys can't fit in there too much longer. Hope you are lying down and relaxing (sure - with a toddler!!!) as much as you can to help keep them in that little bit longer. My god - how quickly things can change!
DR - I am SO sorry for my ignorance! I didn't know anything you told me about donors and can't believed I assumed they must be good. Sorry. You will be the strongest influence in your baby's life though and will surely raise a well-balanced beautiful little person. I can understand your fears and am glad you have found someone to talk to about it. Sorry, again - will think before I speak/type next time xo
Possums - I haven't heard my heart beating in my ears either. I would go see your GP just to put your mind at ease if it's a concern. About your scan - it's a tough one. I would be leaning towards going to the place I knew was going to give the best scan with the most information.
And finally CONGRATULATIONS JAKI I have to go and check out your story. You must be in heaven right now. Hope all goes well with feeding etc
afm - had my 19 scan yesterday and it went really well. I was half-expecting bad news because I had only felt flutters of movement once or twice and even then, wasn't sure if it was baby. But, apparently my placenta is at the front and I have read that you don't feel as much movement if it's there. Bummer, as I love that feeling, but really, as long as it's feeding my beautiful baby I don't care.
Kaybee: Good news about your scan. I had an anterior placenta with DD and one of the boys placenta is also anterior as well so it took until about 22 weeks to start feeling those kicks which was weird seeing the other twin has a posterior placenta so I was feeling him from about 14 weeks...

I phoned the hospital today, the nurse fab as always, spoke to doc on call and he called when he came outta surgery. Said prelim. results showed normal kidney and liver functions, so indicating no health issues to me or bub. Gave me some suggestions for the itching but we felt much much better and bub's been squirming a fair amount today, and when he hasn't, I've rubbed, pushed and prodded ;-)
We'll see what my OB says on monday but we're really keen just to have him out now...we want to look after him together out here. thanks again, off to bed xxxxx

kaybee- excellent news about your scan! did you find out what you are having ...we are going to if we can. My placenta is at the front also, and I was disappointed when told I might not feel real movement until 22 weeks...I can't wait to feel something
mindhugs- very exciting you have felt something...you certainly could be feeling movement at this stage! How is your sickness going? and I hope the clexane is getting a bit easier as you go

afm- going well, despite the pounding through my head, which does get to me sometimes.... next clinic appt at 18 weeks and will see the dr then... blood pressure was checked yday and was normal.
Glad everything looks ok airline. I know one person who had it and she had a c/sec at 37 weeks. Other than that I'm unsure.
If they induce you I have one word for you... Epidural!!! That drip to make contractions is wicked. I never wrapped my head around just how severe the drugs are!

just a quick one. My levels came back normal for bile acid, but after worrying weekend and long chat with great OB, have decided on induction, so going in 6am tomorrow, wish me luck...DH and I are still processing ;-) xx

Hope you dont mind me posting on your thread. I got a bfn today after my first transfer (2nd stim cycle). Just wondering if there is anything you each did differently on your bfp cycle?? I am working out a plan of attack and any tips of what you think helped would be most welcome!

just a quick one to wish airlien all the best for tomorrow!!! that's so super exciting!!! bet you don't get much sleep tonight! lol.
N2L - for my first cycle i could barely get out of bed and didn't do much... got BFN from fresh and frostie. For my 2nd cycle i ran every single day (about 10km per day) plus swam and cycled... so really really healthy and fit... I truly believe this helped us get such great quality eggs. One is a cheeky little 15 month old, who i hope is alseep right now and the other is a cheeky little 27 week old foetus with it's foot or hand or such in my ribs! These were from the same collection. My DS was the first transfer (so fresh), and this little one i'm carrying now was the first frostie we used. We have one egg left. So didn't get heaps of eggs but got really good quality ones. I'm sure none of this is scientifically proven etc but for me, I feel in my soul that me being really fit helped heaps - all that good oxygenated blood As for the actual transfer - did i do anything different... with DS I rested for 2 days in bed and didn't move. With this one I had our entire family visiting for DS's christening and had 20 people at our house for lunch... and it rained!!! so i was somewhat stressy! So for us, relaxed or stressed - didn't seem to matter.
oh so much for a quick one!!!
i've got a virus atm. chest/head flu/cold thingy. made more painful runnign after 15 month old. ugh. pana-frak-ing-dol just doesn't cut it some days!
thanks girls, it's 4.28am, been awake since 3.30am, and due to itching didn't sleep till 11pm....so not full of energy ;-) having a cup of tea and toast, spending time with my cats and dog....well I fed them brekky and then they went their own way ;-) we're nervous and excited...more nervous.
had a few tears with DH last night in bed, all this IVF journey, all this culminating to this next day or so...........it's huge.
to all the girls at their different stages, good luck, big cyber hugs, gentle belly rubs/prods, and stay strong.
Hi ladies its busy in here atm! its so exciting that some of you are nearly ready to pop what an exciting time!
I went to the hospital last wed as i had very mild pains and of course i worried but it turned out to be nothing, i had another scan and everything is fine and it was amazing to see bub whom now has arms and legs (stumps as the scan lady put it) and he or she was kicking its legs and moving its arms around, so beautiful! my 12 week scan is in 2 weeks and i cant wait to see how much bub has grown again. We went down the coast and told DH's family on the weekend and they were so excited for us they were all crying and saying but how and how have you kept it a secret so long, they had no idea we did this cycle so it was a complete shock and suprise to them and it was so nice to see them so happy for us iv been dreaming of this day for a very long time.
Oneday - that's a beautiful story. Those little surprise moments are what we have all been waiting for so long. Glad you enjoyed every minute of it. You deserve it! I've had lots of mild pain, and still getting it. The nervousness doesn't seem to let up, yet we are all still here!!!!
N2L - Nice to meet you & I so understand how you are feeling. What was different for me with this one? It was my last frostie and most likely our last chance with IVF. So I asked the doctor to throw everything at this one. He did! I got extra injections, the Colorado Protocol and 2 x progesterone pessaries a day until week 16. They did regular blood tests to monitor my hormone levels to see if anything needed boosting to stop a possible miscarriage etc. And here I am 17 weeks on. Nothing was different about my health than the last 2 cycles. Also I do have a strict regime daily of a pregnancy multi vit, Omega 3 6 9 Fish Oil, Vit D drops & extra Zinc & Vit C. Plus I have regular acupuncture around the cycle and up to week 12 of the pregnancy. And I have done sooooooooooo much sitting still it's killing me.
AFM - the MS is less and less and less. Thank god. After that carpark yak last week I was getting a bit concerned.
Airline should be in the throws of labor right now - yay!!!
