Bug's mum - glad your iron supplements are helping and good luck kicking the sugar habit I'd love to hear how it goes. Its crazy how much sugar sneaks into your diet when you're not expecting it (along with all the sweets I eat aswell).
Trishy - Congratulations on your little boy! I think our due dates must be pretty close, looking forward to getting to know you.
Kelly - wow! that is so mind blowing!!! Hope you are managing to get some rest and aren't too uncomfortable.
Possums - so glad you had a lovely time on holiday and hope you enjoy yamba and noosa, the water is so pretty there.

Hi grub - your posts are always so funny. Agreed about the own bottom wiping it doesn't help when you also have a heightened sense of smell either!
Kaybee - How are you going? have been thinking of you and hope you're feeling better.
Afm - overall going well, i think what i eat is affecting baby's movements, baby was extremely active after my little pre-easter chocolate binge last night - eek. I don't remember that happening with my other pregnancies but I might have to watch my sugar intake. Am busy getting ready for easter with family and have no idea what to take to eat to picnics.

hi Kass, welcome. 9 transfers is alot. Does that mean you got all your eggs from the first cycle?
Fingers crossed everything goes well now.
I only got one embryo from my first cycle. Second cycle I ended up with 4 which I had two put back in and then a frozen cycle with 2 because they weren't great quality but the clinic wanted me to use them up before trying another stim cycle. Third stim cycle (so 4th attempt) I got 2 embryos and had both transfered and finally got my BFP. But due to low progesterone I was on daily injections for the first trimester and had a threatened miscarriage at 7.5weeks - was told by the hospital emergency department that the baby was dead... but it survived. I'm now 21 weeks pregnant.

I can't believe you are so big. Have they spoken to you about bringing your caesarian date forward? Surely your body can't take much more. What size are your two boys sitting at now?

Dreamrise - I had four collections all up. My first I had a fresh and a FET, second was fresh and two FETs, third was fresh and 2 FETs, and the fourth was a fresh. They've all been single transfers. My 7th transfer (fet) also came back positive, but my levels were really low and didn't progress quickly enough - I got to about 6 weeks. Sounds like you've been through a lot as well, I'm really glad everything is going well for you now

bugs mum -that trip to the ob sounds horrid. does your doc keep you waiting long??? ours used to be at elast an hour behind most times ugh.
not much to report here. I'm very sore and bub's movements have slowed to squirms and wriggles. but i've been worrying about it and as i've been sooo busy it's been hard to keep a check on. we have a housefull of visitors, dh's family, and DS has ramped up the naughtiness like only a 16 month old can. But all visitors are leaving in the next day or two and dh has got to go away for work on sunday, (an anzac day thing) so I'm home alone on easter sunday and monday :(
apart from that just feeling tired and really over it! only 9 weeks left tho.

Possums - You sound like you are just having the best time - travelling here there and everywhere. Good on you - you are going to have a very well-travelled bub even before he's born. Yeah for the start of little flutters!
Grub - sorry you've got to spend the special days alone (not that it's any consolation, but my dh is working too). Guess I'll see you in here maybe.
MH - when I went to the hospital the other day concerned about no movements (the pregnancy hotline told me to go straight there - panic merchants!) the midwife gave me some advice which could have saved me a trip. Anyway - it might help you. She said to have a really cold drink, then lie on your back and cup your hands right around your uterus, kind of down along your hip bones - fingers pointing downwards - get them right in around your belly - and stay there for about half an hour to see if you can feel movements. Dunno if it works, but she said it helps get them moving or to feel the little movements they are making. I'm sure it's totoally fine though.
Hi everyone else - hope you're all primed for a great easter.
DH came back on the weekend and I think we will be ok (for a while). We had a big talk, but then got back on with it as if nothing had happened - which I honestly think is a pretty dangerous way to go. I still want to see a counsellor or something to help us deal with a few issues. Thank you so so so much for your support girls. xoxo
Oh yeah, and I had a glucose test today (the 75mg, if that means anything to anyone) and as suspected I have gestational diabetes. Wonderful news just before Easter and all that lovely sweet choccy!!!!

DR: Don't know how big the boys are now as I don't have another scan for 2 weeks to check the sizes and with any luck they will be here by then. I still don't have an earlier date for my c/s but everyone seems surprised that I haven't gone into labour yet as my belly is sooooo big and really not supposed to get to this size. I'm hoping that at my appt next week I get to bring my date forward as everything is now getting beyond impossible.

Kelly, I really hope they bring your date forward too.. or maybe the boys will have arrived before that appointment. It seems ridulous that they are letting you get so big... your poor belly (and everything else).
Kaybee, sorry to hear about the gestational diabetes... no fun at all - especially bad timing with everyone eating easter eggs around you in a few days! Glad to hear you and DH had a good talk but I agree don't let it get back to business as usual. If there are still issues then maybe counselling is the way to go as it can be easy to bury things and let them fester and end up being much bigger problems then they need to be. My ex and I, well anytime I wanted to bring up concerns about us my ex would act so upset I would just clam up and not say what was on my mind. In the end the problems were left to fester and become worse and we split when her son was 9 months old. I don't know if counselling would have helped in our situation but I certainly think it's worth a shot.
AFM: We are in Berri, Sth Aust now. Stayed in Ouyen on our way last night and spent a few hours in Mildura this morning. There was a nice market in Mildura and I managed to pick up some very cute 2nd hand girls baby clothes for 50c each. Including a pair of 000 denim jeans with pink flowers embroidered on them and a pretty, pink, fleecy jacket. Since it will still be winter when bubs is born I'm pretty happy about these.
We head home on Monday. I'm impressed the hotel we are staying at has free wireless internet access and our room only cost $65 a night (twin share) so I think that's pretty good value (especially for over easter).
Bub has been pressing up under my rib cage most of the day today and it has been quite painful - thank god she? has stopped now. I haven't felt any kicks but this pain under my ribs is so annoying!

O........M........G!!! This bub began ausKick practise at 5:30am this morning and hasn't let up!!! I think I preferred it when the movements were more sporadic! 3 hrs now and counting.

with this bub, i had some blood the day before my BT so rang the clinic saying "oh it didn't work and i need the next cycle to start asap" (cos we were moving that month). So i was totally bummed but resigned it hadn't worked... went in that day for a BT so they could check my levels and we could start again!... and well I suppose you know what happened seeing I"m in here! They think it was implantation or something arather bleeding. I literally nearly fell off the bed when they said "oh, actually you are showing pregnant!". So good lucky honey oxoxoxox

not much happening here. Dh has gone away overnight for anzac day but will be home tomorrow morning. WE had a big day trip to a nearby (1.5hrs away) national park yesterday. it was so great to get out but I was really really exhausted last night and all of today.
Also hit the 'huge swelling feet stage'. It's still very warm up here and my feet have just exploded. Even my size 10 thongs leave dents in the top of my feet. aarrgghhh am so glad we're on the home stretch ;)

Hi everyone,
Just wondered if any of you have experience with gall stones? I had been getting pain up under my ribs and blamed baby for it. Thought she/he was somehow kicking me up there. Anyway it has steadily got worse over the past 3 days until yesterday I had a few times of such extreme pain I had to pull over from driving and buckle over in extreme pain and wait for it to pass. Decided I should get it checked out so went to the Berri local hospital emergency department. They were great. Had to wait for a Dr to come to the hospital and then they don't have an ultrasound technician working until Wed so we couldn't do tests to confirm his diagnosis but he believes it is gall stones.
Due to the pregnancy I couldn't get very strong pain killers (on pandedine forte). They said they could admit me until Wed to get the scan done (and in hospital they can give me better pain killers) but of course it's just me and my daughter here so I said I would try to solider on and drive home on Monday (today) as planned originally planned. will then get ultrasound done back in Ballarat. Was really worried about how I will manage an 8hour drive in such pain.
Friends offered to meet me half way and one drive the car they came in and one drive my car. Then my parents offered to fly to Mildura (150km away) and us to meet them there and then they'll drive us home (in my car). So that is what we are doing today.
Anyway the midwife at the hospital made the comment - "you might need surgery before you have your baby". I was under the impression that surgery during pregnancy is not recommended. Anyway would love to hear if any of you know anything about gall stones or have experience of having them. I had no idea your gall bladder was so high up under your ribs and had never stopped to think how painful it could be. Apparently pregnancy does make gall stones more common! With my daughter's pregnancy I had morning sickness and felt hungry all the time but no complications at all (apart froma really intense labour). With this one it seems I'm getting everything that pregnancy makes more common - i.e. thrush and now gall stones... I wonder what is next? I hope I don't get anything too bad.
Anyway the one good thing was I got to hear baby's heart beat. It took them a while to find it and I was starting to get worried but then they found it - quiet but beating at 160bpm.

Kelly, you poor thing, you're doing such a good job to keep your two precious boys in there, thinking of you and hoping its not too much longer!
DR, oh no that sounds painful, I'm not experienced with gall stones and pg but I hope someone is able to give you some info.
Grub, eek, hope the swelling calms down for you and you manage to put your feet up a bit if you can with a little one!
JBM - thinking of you and hoping to see you in here soon!
MH, thats so exciting, hope bub wears himself out though and gives you a bit of a rest soon (but not too much rest, they should be programmed to kick at regular intervals to keep our minds at ease :)!
Kaybee, glad things are going well with DH at the moment. I never know what to say but thinking of you and hoping you find a way to work everything out. Oh no, gestational diabetes, do you have to take any meds or anything for that? Hope you're ok.

AFM - so glad to be pregnant so hate complaining but am sick of being emotional, i fell like i have teenage girl brain attacks regularly (i.e., my mil said some very minor but very mean things to me tonight and i came home and cried for an hour). Also am sick of choking back the tears at tv shows and random commercials ridiculous! Have never been a big crier at the tv and now I'm crying at ads! I have no idea whats going on. Poor DH I keep trying to be "normal" but am thinking I am having irrational moments.
