Kass: yes in my bely buddies group most of the ladies have had theirs even those due a week after me ?. maybe it's just a Tassie thing. we aree a bit laid back down here. there is only one public hospital in Hobart so they did tell me that the waiting time was 3 weeks to get a scan booked in.
one week in the morning. i just wanna know everything is fine. i love feeling the kicking and just wanna know all is o.k with baby. i am sure the other ladies at your class were envious of your little belly. good luck

mindhugs: not long til next wed, counting down, hopefully you don't have to have the general anesthetic, fingers crossed. best of luck to you. x x

    Hi everyone,

JBM, I didn't have my scan until 20 weeks but mostly because I knew that unless there was a problem I wouldn't get another scan so I wanted to have it a bit later so that it wouldn't be as long a gap between it and the birth and also because I really, really wanted to know the gender of the baby so the later the scan was done the better chance they'd be able to give me a definate answer... though they still refuse to say definately or even give a percentage chance... the best I got was when I had to go back for a scan at 30 weeks and they said "probably a girl".

I can still feel bub moving around alot which seems strange as by this stage with my daughter I couldn't feel her move because the space was so tight. The student midwife always comments on how tight my belly is but it doesn't feel it to me (well not like it did with my daughter). My belly button hasn't popped out like it did with her... it's basically flat now instead of being an innie!

I'm still no closer to choosing a name and that does worry me a bit. Part of me wonders if the reason I am having so much trouble making up a name is because the baby is really a boy and I'm trying to make up a girls name!

Mindhugs, goodluck for next Wed. I hope you can be awake for the C-section and that everything goes well. It's amazing how accupuncture can work in so many ways isn't it. Glad you are having success with it. I used it on my last cycle of IVF (the only successful one) but haven't had it since.

Kaybee, Thanks for popping in. It would be strange to look at your son and think he's only just meant to be arriving now! How come your original IVF date and your other due date are so different from each other?

AFM: I'm feeling really fat, tired and struggling to do alot. My parents left on Tuesday and won't be back until next Monday so I'm taking a bit of a break from the reno's. I did sort through a heap of paperwork yesterday (and shredded a ton) as I want to get my bedroom in order but I find getting up and down from off the floor is really hard now so it is making things a bit more difficult. Will be nice though when I can have an organised room with space for the baby. Have had to put alot of stuff into storage though as there is no room for it (tons of books from my grandparents as I no longer have room for the bookcase in my bedroom etc).

    hi girls,

dreamrise-thats funny that you are making up girls names, maybe it will come to you when you see him inthe flesh?

hi kaybee- enjoy your little one!!

jbm-hope your scan comes around quick, thats nice that Dh is coming with you

mindhugs- good for your little strong man, have they told you when to stop the clexane?
I do acupuncture too, it helped me a lot through ivf treatment

oneday- that isn't very many appts, but if you are worried just ring the hospital and talk to the midwives. I cannot beleive you are in the last 10 wkks either, that has gone so quickly, make the most of it xx

kass- maybe you should stick a pillow in your top next class?!? I agree people will be very jealous cos you will be moving around much easier than they will

trishy- good luck! You have done well to get to where you are with such bad sickness xx

afm- still loving myself sick with my bfp!! Tiredness is kicking in and I have a big week at work next week but having holidays in Sept to that should be good timing

N2L: stalk away, i used to stalk all the time also. and sometimes leaves little notes saying i would join soon. it seemed forever before i did. but you are welcome to stalk away. lots of luck for your next cycle. x x

saffy: yeah i am so excited for DH to be coming to scan. that first stage of preg is the worst, sickness. toilet visits all hours of the night, very sensitive breasts stc etc, but as you said so worth it to be preggers. good luck to you and not long til your holidays. :-)

dreamrise: yeah i suppose the later scan they may be able to tell the sex. i have heard that the 3D scans can be 99 % sure of sex so if they cant tell at mine i wanna have the 3 d one. lol. maybe a little obsessed. lol. hope you get sorted before baby comes. not long to go now. los of luck to you. x o

kaybee: thanks for popping in to say hi to us. yeah it is a bit amazing the whole thing and even though while you're pregnant it seems forever in no time at all our babies are 1 yr old and growing up so fast. another big congrats to you . x o x o good luck

oneday: i forgot to say last time. i love your avvy. they're great.

    hi to all i forgot

AFM: well i had my pregnastics class today at hospital and it is good to do some gentle exercises and stretches and relaxation which is so so good for my body. i got some preg bathers today so i wanna start aqua aerobics next week. all i need now is a sucker ( i mean friend) to come with me. mwa ha ha ha ha. evil laugh. lol.
the lady at the bathers shop said i hardly looked pregnant at all. thanks for that but i don't feel it. i feel huge. my DH said he loves my little bump and he was rubbing my tummy last night maybe hoping for a jeanie to appear or something. baby is not kicking hard enough for him to feel it yet but i am feeling heaps.

    chat soon to all

i am off to find someone to come to aqua with me :-)

    Smile Finally got a BFP

    Hi ladies,
Firstly congrats on your pregnancy. I have been ttc for 2 years and I got my first BFP 5 days ago and retested twice more since then. I can't believe this could happen to us. I have secondary infertility and have been through so much. My son is 7 years old and me and hubby have longed for this day.

Wish us luck and keep everything crossed for us. xxx.

It's gotten a bit quiet in here!
JBM - did you find someone to go to the pool with you?
    n2l - I' hope you'll be 'graduating' soon!
Saffy - how are you going? Have you had your first scan yet?
DR - hope you had a good break over the weekend - are you back to the reno's today? Hope it's getting close to being finished!
Mindhugs - how are you going? I guess we'll be seeing your ba very soon
    Hi Kaybee

afm - well, it had to happen sooner or later - i have a belly. It seems to have grown a lot just over the weekend. Not only that, but suddenly people are commenting on how I actually look pg now, so it's not just my imagination!
