    Hi Ladies,

Sorry for being MIA lately .. I will attempt some personals and if I miss anyone than I apologise in advance!

JBM – I hope bubs isn’t keeping you awake at night with all of that gymnastics going on, he, he! Sounds like you had a great time with your Sister . Me and my sister were pregnant together when I had DS and it was so nice to be able to share that special time with her… we both struggled to get there (pregnant) so it was even more special.

Jacklicky – How are you feeling? The morning sickness is so horrible isn’t it? I am really battling with the exhaustion this time round and find myself going to bed anywhere from 7 – 8:30pm! I hope the morning sickness has eased a little for you ((GBH)).

MHB – So sorry you are going through such a tuff time at the moment… the waiting is just agony ((GBH)). That ultrasound guy should get a new profession – it makes me so made when health professionals seem to forget that they are there to assist patients not make them feel worse – arrgghh! ’ing that all will be well.

dreamrise – congrats on the arrival of your baby girl. I hope you are managing with the lack of sleep…. it truly is a labour of love !

Yogi Bear – Sorry you are also having a tuff time of things hun ((GBH)). I haven’t heard of a two vessel placenta so sorry I am unable to shed any further light on the situation. It is not easy to hear that there could possibly be anything wrong with bubs so I am really ’ing that your scan next week is able to relieve you of your anxieties and confirm bubs is a healthy little bean.

Loops – I remember with DS I had really strong cramping which used to worry me so cramping is normal. I am actually worried about a lack of cramping this time round, he, he! I think it is just natural that us LTTTC’ers can’t help stressing ourselves out over everything as it is such a hard road to get here.

Kass – How are you feeling? Not too long for you to go now! Have you felt any Braxton Hicks yet?

KMond – Hey hun, so good to see you in this thread – yay! I am not sure on the swimming thing… my FS/ Ob hasn’t said anything about it and I haven’t asked as DS has grommets in and isn’t allowed to go swimming so it has never come up?? Have you found out an answer yet? How are you feeling?

AFM - Haven't been feeling the best of late and so, so tired which has been a real struggle with DS and work . Morning sickness suddenly lifted a couple of days ago (like I never had it in the 1st place) which totally freaked me out but seemed normal according to Dr Google.

I am happy to report that we had our 7 week scan and bubs measured exact for dates and had a healthy heart rate of 138bpm (another boy maybe?). DH and I were so relieved although we still have a little ways to go yet to get past the 12 week scan .

coral: good news about scan going well. now counting down to 12 week scan. best of luck to you. Baby has settled tonight but he usually wakes up about now so who knows. he he.

mehimbub: oh not long now to go. yeah those pesky babies should just be in the right position then we wouldn't have to worry. lol. good luck. less than 3 weeks to go now. x

AFM: baby is just starting to wake. night time madness you know. we have an open home this weekend. fingers crossed someone want to put in an acceptable offer. my mother gave me $ 100 to get a "birth"present for baby. she is so weird, acts like she doesn't even care about me or my si being pregnant then wants me to get a pressy. not compaining but someitmes just wish knew what was going on in her head. he he he

JBM ~ your moving? when did i miss that?!?! Goodluck with it!! hope it isnt too stressful for you and things go smoothly!!!!

Hi Loops, Kass, mhb, coral - great to hear your scan went well.

    Congrats Oneday!!! Welcome Earthside Ellie!!!

AFM ~ I've been doing 12 hour night shifts, and it along with the tiredness and morning sickness is killing me... on a plus note (massive one) I snuck out the back at work and got a doppler out and tried to listen to Spock. first night it took a while but I deff heard Spock for like 5 secs, really faint and in the background, but was there. 2nd night I tired again, took half as long and was right there =) like Spock was waiting for me and in the perfect spot =) I laid there for a good minute just listening, could have laid longer but had to get back to work =( but was so nice being able to hear Spock =)

Hey ladies just wanted to pop in to say thanks for the congrats and well wishes i dont have much time on my hands now with bub its crazy how quick the days go, she has been pretty unsettled in the afternoon/nights so im not getting hardly any sleep so been having a lay down each day! and all the visitors are starting to become a little overwhelming as much as i love them im looking forward to not having as many so i can try get bub in some kind of routine and myself for that matter. We are loving being mum and dad though and love our girl to bits, still so very surreal!! I will pop back in every now and again to see what you lovely ladies are up to but its now time for me to leave i guess I wish you all the very best with your new bundles of joy!! does anyone know of a thread which would be good for me to go to now???

P.s im going to miss this thread and all you ladies

MHB: oh lets hope you don't go over by 10 days then................even for DH and DS sake. LOL. best of luck for you going into labour early naturally. x o I think that visitors should only come to drop off a meal then go and wait til you are up to visitors. LOL best of luck to you

oneday: we are going to miss you too but accept that once you have baby you move on. cry cry. as i said to MHB i think no visitors unless they are dropping off meals or food, then they can just say hi and go. LOL. I made a sign that said "do NOT knock !, mother and baby sleeping and if you wake us up one of us is going to be very grumpy " from mummy this actually worked and then as i was up to it i let visitors in. he he he. best of luck and hope oyu guys get into a good routein soon. x o x o for you and baby

teirae: 12 hr night shifts and you wonder why you're tired !!! eek. i feel tired just thinking of that !. he he. but i do love that you can check on baby, that is just so so cute. awwwwwwwwwwwwww. yes our whole fam is moving from Tas to Qld in a few weeks. middle of summer, pregnant and moving to HOT climate when you're from TAS !! maybe insanity is the word i am looking for................he he he. best of luck to you.

    hi to all i forgot.

    Hi ladies

Oneday, great to hear from you and happy that you and bubs are doing well (although a bit sleep deprived!). Please dont be a stranger here, you are welcome to pop back anytime as we would love to have updates on how you are going. All the best xx

M+H+B, great that bub has turned! not long to go now...so very exciting!

JMB, good luck with the move, but definitely no heavy lifting for you!

Teirae, how exciting hearing the heartbeat on the doppler...such sweet sound to our ears! I hope things can settle down a bit for you at work and you can start taking it a bit easier. I thought tiredness would ease in the 2nd trimester but i'm finding its getting worse. Anyone else found this, or is it just me?

Coral, so happy your scan went well. How are you feeling now?

I had an early morph scan at 16 weeks on friday and am so relieved that everything looks perfectly normal with bub. I was referred to a different Ob who specialises sonography diagnostics and she basically said that despite by bloods increasing my risk for chromosome problems my baby looks normal and not to be too concerned now with the statistics. She feels that the actual scans have more weight that the bloods and also appears now that IVF pregnancies seem to have worse blood results with normal scan results. Also with the single umbilical artery now its just a case of monitoring growth later on as some babies with this can be smaller than normal. Bub is already at the lower end of normal for size, but then again i am a real shorty myself so i guess cant expect a huge baby?!

So feeling so much better now and really starting to relax a bit more and trying to enjoy this pregnancy. It all still seems so surreal however. I'm starting to get a proper baby bump now, so thats exciting...helping to make it all real. I think i am feeling confident enough to even drag my box of pregnancy & baby books out of the shed...i had stored them away as i thought i would never get to use them.

Hi to everyone i've missed, thinking of you all

    Yogi
    xx

    Hi ladies

Coral ~ thanks for your reassurance about the cramps. Great news about your scan what do they say about heartbeats and boys n girls?

JBM ~ Hi and I'm well thank you. wow you dont have too long must be exciting but I can see why you'd be sick of people asking all the time.

Tei ~ exciting you got to hear your bubs HB wish I could get my hands on one like that! Hope that MS goes soon.

Oneday ~ so happy to hear you are enjoying motherhood despite being exhausted. will miss you around here, please pop in. I guess we all have to go at some point. I think there is a parenting after LTTTC thread. GL and take care xo

Yogi ~ 16 weeks, thats fabulous! glad you are starting to relax into it and enjoy. all the best hun. I'm a bit the same - starting to finally get a little excited and hopefully after Fri (my 12 week scan) i'll be able to relax more.

Hi Kass and anyone else I may have missed - hope all is going well!

AFM ~ just hoping time goes quick for my 12 week scan this Friday - excited but also pretty scared.
