coral: thats o.k. i just know what you are going thru as i can remember those early days and they are the scariest. good luck for your scan on friday. not long to go now. wishing you the best of luck for it.

N2L; i love the PUPO. sticky vibes for you and your embies. i had 2 transferred this time and it obviously worked. we have one very active healthy baby and i am so greatful for that. hope we see you in here soon. good luck in the TWW. try not to go mad with preg tests as i did them and they kept saying BFN or hardly showing 2nd line at all, but i did one of those expensive digital ones and it said PREGNANT 2-3 weeks. i am so so hoping you get this good result. sticky , sticky vibes.

hi to everyone else i missed

AFM: well i had my midwife app today and found out i was supposed to have my GTT today also !!!!!!! so i have it booked for friday morn now as i hadn't fasted this morn and didn't have 2 hrs spare !! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hey ladies just wanted to let you know i had my last midwifes appointment today and bub is still breech so unless we get there on the day and she has turned we will be having a caeser!! So excited!!!!! Im ok with having the caeser now i just cant wait to meet her now and cant believe its so soon!!!! its such a surreal feeling after wanting a baby and waiting for one for so long.

    I hope your all well

N2L good luck and cant wait to see you in this wonderful thread xx

JBM how annoying!! think they would have told you! the midwife never told me about my strep B and hemoglobin results from 36 weeks so now have to call and chase them up not that the strep B matters having a ceaser but would still like to know. I love hearing the heart beat

Coral i too worried about every tiny thing even cleaning the house worrying if the chemicals could hurt bub lol! And dont worry about yelling since 30 weeks i feel like thats all iv done, poor DH! But even know this is my first few days off work i already feel so much more relaxed and not stressed out so its good, just tying to relax as much as possible before bub comes along xxx

Still cant believe i will be leaving all you wonderful ladies in this thread soon will have to join another one together

    Hi guys,
I have finally bitten the bullet and booked in with my GP to start the ball rolling on my referral to the hospital. Kinda figured if I don't do it now I wont get in and wont be able to book in for the NT scan at 12wks. Last time I went there with DD they already had no room for the 20wks scan and they told me this at 8wks!

I am still meant to go back and have another scan with the FS (meant to be this Monday coming) but I have enough progesterone pessaries for the next two weeks which will take me closer to 10wks so i think i might wait until then. I started bleeding the day after my last scan so I'm not keen of having another one this early. Im hoping if I wait until 10wks i might be able to convince him to do an external one instead!

    Hi lovely ladies
I'm back from my hols. Will try and catch up.

Coral ~ So excited to open up BB and see you in here, CONGRATULATIONS
I was so worried early on with every little twinge and pain - its impossible not too worry! But to reassure you - pretty sure its all normal. I think I may have still had implantation pain at about 6weeks too. I'm much more relaxed now - so hopefully you will be soon as well.

N2L ~ looking forward to having you in here as well, Goodluck and

Jacklicky ~ welcome and big congratulations to you!,

Oneday ~ wow so exciting, so close to meeting your lil miracle all the best hun.

Hi to everyone and hope you are all well.

AFM ~ have a cold so a little bit scared also that this will do damage - silly probably though! I'm so excited to see on my sig that I'm basically 9weeks

Loops - Everything's a worry isn't it! I'm sure your cold won't do any damage - I doubt too many people get through a whole nine months without a bit of a sniffle! Hope you're feeling better soon

jackylicky - Hope you aren't too late for your hospy, sounds like they book up fast. You can always get scan referrals from your GP if you need to. My hospy doesn't take bookings until after 12 weeks. Funny how they're all a bit different Hope your next scan goes well

Oneday - Glad you're feeling more relaxed Not long now!

JBM - bugger about the test! Hope it all comes back clear for you.

Coral - Good luck for your scan on Friday

n2l - See you here soon!

    Hope I got everyone!

Went to an antenatal class yesterday and the presenter forgot to show up! Oh dear. Hope that's not a sign of things to come with the hospital!

    Hi ladies
Its been a little while since i've been here, so am a bit behind with you all sorry.
    Welcome jacklicky, congrats!
Coral & Loops so great to see things going well for you both.
Hi Nothing2lose, I will be keeping everything crossed that you will be joining us soon When is your blood test?
Big hello to oneday, JBM, Kass, Teirae and all i've missed.
I actually haven't had a very good week. Had NT scan last friday and while scan itself was fine bub measurements all looking normal, my blood results were really bad (low PAPP-A and very high free BhCG) and my Ob said 'very high risk' with 1:20 for down syndrome I am now annoyed with myself for even getting the blood test done as I never really wanted it in the first place, but of course these obstetricians like to do them! We had decided ages ago even before i was pregnant that we would not do anything to risk this pregnancy. Would not even consider CVS or amnio test even if it was 0.0000000001% risk of m/c!!! And even if results came back positive we would never terminate in a trillion years so I always told myself 'stuff the tests and statistics' cause it wouldn't change what we would do. BUt now getting the results of course i'm worried and wish i had never done it!
Anyway, trying to go by the fact the bub is going well and we still have 95% chance is all healthy. The fact is regardless of 'stats' and medical analysis, this miracle baby is 100% ours and if she/he wants to make it into this world then its meant to be, we keep praying and hoping we meet them in 6 mths time!

Honestly, going through 5 years of invasive infertility treatments is nothing compared to how scary & yet totally wonderful pregnancy is...we just never know what is going to happen during the course of the 9 mths. We just have to literally take each day by day and try and enjoy the miracle that it really is to grow another human being inside our tummies.

Thanks for listening, i'm glad i've got that out as i haven't been able to talk to anyone about it (we haven't even told anyone i'm pg yet). DH took the news pretty bad and has withdrawn a bit, he is pretty scared and worried about it all. Maybe its the pg hormones but i'm finding i just sometimes dont want to be around him at all, i'm such a bad wifey!!

Have a good day everyone...much love to you all
    Yogi xx

    Thanks Kass and Yogi xoxo

Yogi ~ That must be tough but after everything you have been through I 100% agree that I would never terminate, probably wouldnt do the amnio and I think there is still only a very slim chance that your bub will have downs. I have a distant cousin with down syndrome and he is the happiest, friendliest boy - they can still have an amazing and happy life. I say try and just keep enjoying your pregnancy (in saying that I know how hard it is though) best of wishes hun.

yogi:I had a friend who they told her she had a high change of a baby with downs, she stressed at first then found out all the info she could about everything inc support groups. after all that she had a normal baby. I chose not to have any of the tests as it wouldn't change my mind anyway and just cause me to stress about something else. like us LTTC mums need anything else to worry about ?!!
i am wishing you the best of luck. and as loops said even if there is a problem usually these children are tha happiest kids. good luck to you. x o

kass: LOL about your class. i am sure thats not a good sign ? but i am also sure that when you go into labour someone will be there to help out. best of luck to you. i have my GTT re booked for friday so not a prob. x thanks x

loops: when i was preg with DS 2 i had the worst flu ever, i can still remember it and i was about 7 months. it was so bad. but it had no effect on baby and once i had him i was so glad i had it while pregnant not after i had him , that'd be bad. best of luck.

jacklicky: it's good to book in early as i booked in early and only just got my first antenatal with the docs at 15 weeks then just scraped by with scan at 20 weeks exactly.

oneday: oh bummer for that naughty baby not turning. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr lol. i can't believe how close you are and they will prob be inducing you any day now cause they usually don't like you going over 38 weeks ? i am sure we'll find out soon. i am so excited for you. x o x o
best of luck for everything. :-)

    hi to all i forgot

AFM: worked today, working tomorrow ! bummer. but i finally got some baby boy clothes the other day and i have a washing machine almost full and starting to get organised. it's feeling real now :-0

Yogi bear im sorry you didnt get the best news but my DH and i said the same thing we would never have done the amnio test or terminated, going through the hard journey we have all been through i believe we see a baby in a different way and just want one of our own to love and hold forever and to me for us to finally get pg its obviously ment to be!!! and im sure your bub will be just fine i know of people who have been told there is a high risk of down syndrome and they came out fine. And dont worry about not showing your DH alot of attention i have been the same through my whole pg, i usually love cuddles but havnt been into them since pg and sorry for TMI but since iv been pg we have probable had intercourse maybe 4 times!!! i just dont feel like it and when we do it its uncomfortable, my DH is very understanding though which is good

Jbm, thanks not long now but having a caeser not being induced, i asked them if we go in on the day and she has turned will they induce me but the midwife said no which sucks but i guess i will just have to wait it out if that happens! but this naughty one lol has been there for 8 weeks so im not holding my breath that she will turn now. I loved hanging all the little clothes on the line, so cute!

Loops dont stress about being sick i used to do the same, i never get sick but was constantly catching something while pg! My DR told me the baby is oblivious to whats going on when you sick. Your body only cares about bub when your pg, it protects the bub and dosnt care about you anymore lol thats why some ppl keep getting sick.

Kass that sucks about your class!! hope they turn up next week i really enjoyed mine i think they are great and DH learnt alot xx

hello to the few new girls who are here!

Im just copy n pasting from my belly buds group and is all about me cause im going to be late for work..sorry!!

    Hi beautiful women!!!
i have a very healthy little parasite nestled in my fundus (fungus as dh thought she said.. (top of my uterus)). measuring a day ahead what i thought i was =) so In actually 7.2 today (she then said my due date was a day later but pretty sure the leap year is messing with ppls maths. so my due date is actually 22/5). Strong hb of 147 - was the first thing i saw so clear and so strong!!! =)
Dh said before that he would be disapointed if it was only 1. he denied it after but was in a cranky mood last night - which he also denied. but i am happy =)

Addit ~ oh and the fs so very supportive and in complete agreeance of my choice not to birth at the hosp near me. he agreed 100% with my thoughts about it =p

Teirae - that's great Congratulations - hope your dh is a bit less cranky today!

mhb - hope everything is nice and boring for you tomorrow lol

Oneday - I'm surprised they won't let you go for a v-birth if she turns (even if it seems unlikely). Must be any day now? Exciting! Yeah, it was a bit annoying with the class. Up until now they've been pretty good. One of the mws filled in (about 20 minutes after it was meant to start) so we still got some info. Just wasn't as organised as it could have been!

Yogi - I'm sorry you've had a disappointing result. But, there's still a 95% chance that there is nothing wrong, and like others have said, you're going to love bubs no matter what. After all you've been through, I think this one must be very strong and determined to stick around

JBM - Good work being organised Pity about working!

Hey ladies had a nice day in my pj's doing nothing today!!!!!

Kass if she turns they will send me home on the day of the ceaser so i can have a natural birth but they wont induce me on the day they will let things happen on their own unless of course i go 10 days over my due date.

Today when i was lounging around i was watching my belly move around as my girl was having a great time in my tummy, i found my self crying thinking how truly amazing these babies really are, i feel like the luckiest girl alive even what i went through to get here, in some strange way im so greatful of our journey because i dont think i would have ever appreciated being pg and this baby as much if i didnt go through what i had to to get here! Im really going to miss being pg, everyone ask's how i could possibly miss it as it does get uncomfortable at the end but we have all waited for this for so long and i guess im prepared i may never get to expereince being pg again. I really hope you ladies enjoy the rest of your pregnancys as much as i have, dont forget to take just 5 minutes a day to sit and enjoy being pg because i believe we are all so lucky and they are little miracles xxxxxxx

Oneday - makes sense - now you have a set date you must be getting impatient to meet her! You're so right about being pregnant. I think it's amazing, and feel a little sad that it might be a once only experience for me. Enjoy your last few days!

loops: how are you going ?, hope all is well and baby is settling in and not making you feel too sick. x

oneday: oh how nice to be in pj's all day. i am so envious . well lets still hope she moves around by herself. yes being pregnant is amazing and feeling your baby move around inside you is the best feeling. but by the end you just want them out. lol. we are always so hard to please. or is that just me ?. lol
i'm sending you the best of luck with the birth, whatever way it goes, can't wait to hear all the news. x x x x

kass: wow almost 30 weeks, yipee. i am so excited for you. the counting down is on. and now it gets fun and exhausting all at the same time. best of luck. x

teirae: YIPEEE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> i am so so excited for you, this has been such a loooooooooooong wait to get this BFP !! yeah and hooray. can you tell i am happy for you. i was a little dissapointed that there was only one but that soon goes when you see the healthy baby growing inside you.
now counting down til your 12 week scan, where they actually look like a litle baby not a blob with a heart beat anymore. wishing you the best of luck. x x

mehimbub: hope all goes well with your scan next week. not long to go now. counting down. x o

AFM: well baby has been good . i had my GTT yesterday and had to do the 2 hr one cause i am over 35 now so i am in a "high"risk category ?? the midwife said on tue that i prob didn't need it but they are over cautious sometimes. the docs that is.
feeling good and starting to enjoy being pregnant finally as not feeling evry sick now.

i have gained 6 kg so far and midwife said that was very good . yipee for that.

i am so excited about seeing my preggers sister on monday and tuesday next week, she is due on 27th oct so is looking VERY pregnant now.
we are having a "fat "girls time out for 2 days. yeah i have a VERY long weekend this weekend. then work wed, thur and fri. but will be worth it.

hi to all i forgot ...................

    chat soon

    Hi

JBM i think im just crazy but im really going to miss being pg! maybe because iv had a really cruisie pg? but im not over it at all (except for her laying up in my ribs every now and again lol). Enjoy your weekend with your sister, how special to be sharing such a special time with her.

Well i rang the midwifes on thursday because they never told me my result for hemagloban and strep b and turns out my hemagloban came back good but i have strep b! I know its not a concern having a ceaser but it still would have been nice to be told about it, especially since bub could turn and i didnt even know. My sis had it and im not concerned as i know lots of woman have it and just means you need to go straight into hospital once your waters break to be put on antibiotics. Lucky for me i guess it dosnt effect me having a ceaser.

Well enjoy the rest of your weekend ladies xxxxxx

Hey guys, thought I should pop back in and wave to you all. I have been reading not posting. i am feeling sick nearly all day....but im not actually vomiting thank god....just constant nausea which is not fun cause Im also hungry all the time so both of these at the same time is causing me grief....and I dont have the energy to actually type

All is going well aside from that though. I cant wait to get to my 12wk NT scan. Although Im pretty sure we are going to get the 'high risk' category just because of my age and I know DH will insist on further testing (I know his greatest fears about us getting preg at our age is DS) and I guess I need to decide what I want to do with that...

Nothing else really to say.....things are just rolling along. I am forcing myself to NOT look at the loo paper every time I go.....not having a lot of success at the moment.
