    Ladies,

Not sure if I'm in the right spot but I do recognise some of you from past forums.
I have "just" got my after my 1st IVF procedure and 4 years of trying
We're very happy however cautious as I did conceive naturally (last Feb) however sadly my hcg didnt double and I had a m/c at 6wks.
I'm going in for my BT on Monday and hopefully all is well and this one is a or LOL
I wanted to join a belly group to hopefully keep sharing and reading about everyones experiences as I also go through them.

Hope to get to know you all soon!

    xo

    Afternoon Ladies,

Teirae - Just checking... are you using the PPL Comparison Estimator? When I enter in all the data the end resut states that I am $20 better off with PPL. Only 2 more sleeps for you until you hit 30 wks !

Mia - Congratulations again hun !!!! It is so nice to see when one us LTTTC 'ers graduate to this thread! Welcome to the group . How did you BT go??? Hope you got some great reassuring numbers today .

Loops - No worries... I hope it helps! How are things going?

Yogi Bear - You must be getting pretty close now so hun!

To all the other ladies - I hope you are all travelling along nicely.

AFM - I had an OB appointment this morning and everything looks great - yay! GD results came back perfect and bubs has a nice strong heartbeat with plenty of fluid. She is moving every day with at least 10 movements (count my OB gave me to watch out for). I am almost 30 weeks and are getting really excited as it means that we are getting down to the business end of things... OB appointment fortnightly now so I get to see my little princess every 2 weeks - yay! DH has started to put DS's new bedroom furniture together so we can move his stuff into Little Bean's room and start setting up which is exciting . Unfortunately, DH is going away for work next week for a few weeks so I will be on my own with DS - not sure how I am going to manage . Will be hard as I am still working 4 days p/wk although my Mum, Sister and Mother-in-law have all kindly agreed to help me out by picking up DS from day-care and getting his dinner started which will be a huge help!! Getting really big now and according to the amazement of most people that I still have just under 3 months to go... it is giving me a bit of a complex to hear how huge I am all the time and that I look like I am ready to pop . I am taking it in my stride though as this is the last time I am planning on being pregnant so trying not to worry too much about that stuff.

Ladies Hope you are all well :gouphug:

Coral: YAY for everything going along well, dont worry about what other ppl say just enjoy being UTD and think about your little one who is coming soon

AFM - going well, feeling SO very hungry every 1.5 - 2 hours like I havent eaten a thing all day! I got my BT today and the nurse called me back and told me my hcg is at 664! YAY my last pg I only got to 98 and that was at 5 1/2 wks and I'm 4 1/2 almost now! So thats nice to hear, (eeek could that mean twins?! ) I think I will go for another BT on wednesday at my GP's office just to make sure its doubling etc and for peace of mind as the FC said they dont need to see me until I have my 1st scan.
Just thought I'd catch up with you ladies and let you know how I'm tracking
All the very best for everyone xox

    Hi ladies

    Welcome & Congratulations to Mia!

I'm hoping someone can help me/direct me through putting a ticker up in my signature. i know there is probably no point really at this stage as i only have a few weeks to go but I just want to put one up....because I FINALLY CAN!!! i've waited so long for this baby to come and i want to have a ticker too!!!

Am seeing Ob again this arvo and having another CTG, all has been looking good but she is talking about inducing me around 38 weeks. I know she is being extra cautious & 'safe' and covering herself but I am just finding it hard to accept that bub is in medical danger...its just because bub is smaller than 'average' but is still within normal range so I'm bit reluctant. I've heard that inducion too early, especially when cervix not ready, can lead to caesarean anyway ...the 'cascade of intervention'. This bub is so so so very precious and I obviously want them out safe & sound, but is also why I want to do the absolute best for them and let them come when ready and have a normal natural entry into the world. I believe birth shouldn't be a medical procedure.

Anyway, will see what she says today.

Hope you are all well and enjoying your bumps

    Have a nice day everyone

Hi Yogi sorry I had to get hubby to help me with mine. I totally understand where you are coming from when you have been trying for so long your still scared something will go wrong. I just started telling people but am still so scared.

AFM have returned from my trip which was great but I cant seem to do anything without baby issues. I had a bleed while away and ended up in hospital for a scan it turns out that I must now take things easy no vigorous workouts or heavy lifting. Had our NT scans yesterday good news I'm in the low risk catergory and the little one wouldn't stop moving around with a really strong heartbeat. Fingers crossed that I can now start to enjoy being pregnant

    Hi Ladies!

Wow it's been awhile since I posted here, I hope everyone is doing well.

Yogi - how did you go with your ob? I hope you managed to negotiate something where you would both be comfortable and happy. I would be reluctant to be induced at 38 weeks too, but I guess it's hard to say no if the doctor is saying it would be best for the baby. Did you figure out how to do the ticker? Umm I think there is a thread somewhere teaching you how, let me try find it...

"How do I get a ticker and put it into my signature
There are many sites that offer tickers. Bump-and-beyond, babysfirstsite, tickerfactory are some of the more popular sites but if you google 'tickers' you will get many more. Once you have created your ticker (remember that we only allow one ticker per member), copy the URL of the ticker and then paste it into your signature."

Lol not sure if that helps... I think I went with lilypie and after making the ticker, they give you this url code which you copy and paste and hope it works... good luck!

Coral - thanks, the ob appt went well but I didn't get the sneak peak! He had a machine but he didn't offer and I felt weird asking lol. Is your dh still away, how are you coping? Yes I have told dh he doesn't need to go to most of the ob appointments, but he better be at the scans! It is hard especially now we haven't told people yet, once it's all out he can just tell his work and I am sure they would understand. Anyway I hope you are doing well and enjoying the last couple of months!

Teirae - I tried to use that estimator and just got confused too... I'm not sure if the income they mean is just me or combined. May need to ask an accountant or something! Hope you've had more luck with figuring it all out.

Mia - huge congratulations to you! I had stalked you a little once you disappeared from the 12+ ttc thread and I am so happy to hear ivf went well for you! How are you going now? Did you find out if they're twins? When is your first scan?

terry - glad the nt scan went well and it must have been really nice to see bubs moving about and having a good ol' time in there. Hope the bleeding and taking it easy goes ok for you, I know it's hard sometimes when there are things that need to be done.

And big hi to everyone else!

afm - well as said above I didn't get my anticipated sneak peak at bubs during my ob appointment, but he convinced me to do the dating scan I was going to skip as it is bulk billed (pretty sure of dates as I was obsessively charting, checking cm, opk-ing etc!), so I went to do that at 9 weeks. HB was 161 and he estimated I was 9weeks 3 days which was only a couple of days off what I thought. I have my 12 week scan next tuesday, and seeing the ob again the week after that. Can't wait to see how much bubs has grown! I'm not doing too well with the ms though, took a sickie today as I had a terrible weekend. I am really hoping the symptoms ease into the second trimester as it's all making me a bit depressed. Anyway hope everyone else is travelling along nicely xo

    She's finally here!

    Hi lovely ladies

I am so so happy to announce the safe arrival of our precious little girl, Claire.

She was born last monday via c-section after a failed induction weighing 2.64kg... so little, petite and absolutely gorgeous! She was in the special care nursery for a few days because her blood/sugar levels were a bit low but she stabilised quickly and is now home safe & sound.
She truly is a gift from the gods, I am crying endless tears of joy as I pour bucketloads of love over her!
