Worrywart, it's so good to see you posting and your ticker moving along. You are so close to the finish line. How are you feeling?

Me, I'm having a rough time. Been hospitalised twice this week with morning sickness and it's now been confirmed I have a DVT in my right leg. My clexane dose has been increased and an urgent referral sent to the haematologist and ante natal clinic. I'll have more regular scans to check on bub and the placenta etc. This is a huge blow for me as it means moving to a high risk hospital that does not allow students and I was really relying on having my student midwife there for support. I'm guessing it will also mean no active birth and being confined to the bed with monitors etc. As for the future I'm guessing I'll now be on lifelong warfarin as this is my second occurrence of clots. Whether that means no subsequent children, I do not know. I'm only nine weeks and it's a lot to take in. What's worst is knowing I could have prevented this by not letting the morning sickness stop me from drinking and being more active. Sorry for the novel.
