Hugs spoons sounds like a lot to deal with. Don't beat yourself up about the morning sickness preventing you from doing stuff. I was hospitalised last time for HG and I'm skirting a thin line this time. Unless you experience it you can't imagine how overwhelming it can be.
And we thought we had jumped the biggest hurdle finally getting pregnant!
In terms of labour, I had an amazing labour that I still smile about. I was monitored and on my back with a drip! Exactly what I didn't want but wow still an awesome experience so don't get too down about it. Just trying to give you an upside to a labour that was more monitored than the ideal

Thank you, Joeve. You are so right. I put so much time and energy into actually getting pregnant that I barely gave a thought to what pregnancy would be like for me. My mum never had morning sickness so I just assumed I'd be lucky like her.
Thanks for sharing your birth experience. I went and found your birth story and found it encouraging. Maybe I'll go look for some more positive high risk/induction birth stories.
I've had a good day today. Managed to eat some crackers so fingers crossed I can keep it up.
