Hello Everyone!!
I have the save our sleep book... I havnt really had a look at it yet but I certainly will keep that advice in mind if bubs no.2 is a bit of a restless sleeper. DS certainly was hehe but we just dealt with it and he still has his bad nights at times LOL..
As for sheets... are you using a bassinet or a cot for the first few months? Personally I dnt think you can ever have enough because newborns are forever spewing.. pooping through the nappy (especially when breastfed) weeing etc etc etc.. so we found with DS that you really do go through quite a few clothes.. blankets.. sheets.. yadda yadda. and especially in those first few weeks it can be really tiring having your new one and the last thing you want is to be having to do 2 loads of washing every day on top of everything else just so that you have something for bubs to sleep on. so my advice would be as many as you can get your hands ondepending on how often you do ur washing I guess.
Hope you are all doing well!! had our next hos appontment yesterday and were told from here on in we can basically start to relax.. The preg has become so low risk that she asked us if we would feel ok about participating in the student midwife program.. We're student midwives work with us but a fully qualified one sits in and supervises herWe were so happy to hear that we are such low risk we'd be prefect for it that we said of course
So from now on till the birth we'll be helping all the learner midwives get some experiance in!
yay just over 8 weeks left I am definately getting excited now!! talk to you all soon! Ky
Oh and Ive put up a lil album on FB with my us pics and belly shots if anyone is interested.. but they wnt be up for very long cuz i dnt like having to omany pics up on there.. similar reasons to smithy.. so lol just think of it like a clearance sale.. limited time only!!!![]()
