Sheree, your waters broke? I just had to read that again!
Justine, 2cm is so good. That's brilliant. Can't wait for news.
Thinking of you both today.
With DD - - - - - - Yep my waters broke on the Sat before the c/s was scheduled on Monday. I woke from the great night's sleep, rushed to the loo thinking I had pg bladder and it was the wrong color IYKWIM. I had a shower went to the hospital around 10:30-11 was 4 cm dilated and then the c/s and she was born at 1:04pm. BRILLIANT :D
Oh I'm relieved! I was just looking at your ticker and thinking "It's a bit early for her!"
Sorry ... must be misreading it. =)
Skye, hope things go well this afternoon.
Sal, we have planned not to find out but if we do "by accident" we are going to try to keep it to ourselves!!
****gentle LVs**** Justine
Ah rats Shez! Just kidding, it's nice to keep surprises to yourself, makes it all the more exciting for everyone else.
Skye, am visualising a football sitting sideways across your tum, must look funny!!
Thank you ladies for your thought.
Oh Justine. Not long yet, woo hoo.. looks like maybe EDD baby on the dot.
Hope all you ladies are travelling nicely with pregs.
Who is next one to have bubs?
Hoping me and Sal are not last ones.
We need more recruits! Where is Aleida?
I thought she got BFP around 1/7. Hope she doing ok.
Chris
Yes more recruits! I am hoping for an amazing triple: Keen, Jade and Ann to join in September. How amazing would that be?!?! And Anney absolutely has to get back in here asap.
SAL: That would be the best!!! what would be more unreal.. is if BB needed a whole new recruit in LT TTC forum.. One can only wish for them.. I was in there and felt sad for them.
Hi all,
My name is Linda and I have been ttc for quite awhile but on Monday we found out we are pregnant so I am hoping to join you in this forum. Some of you may know me already.
My DH and I went on IVF and fell pregnant 1st time which was a complete an utter shock. When the nurse called to give me my result I think I had prepared myself for a negative so when she said it was positive I went into hysterics. I am so unbelievably happy. We had fallen pregnant in Feb last year on our third try of clomid but unforunately lost our beauitful twin girls Megan and Sarah at 22 weeks due to an incompetent cervix. After about a year of ttc naturally and then back on the clomid with no success we decided to give IVF a go where we now come to where we are.
I am still in shock but so excited.
Hopefully everything goes smoothly. I look forward to getting to know you all.
Our due date is 9th of April 2007.
Lots of Love Linda
Welcome Linda :D
Congratulations Linda - it's great to hear your news. I have warmed your spot and plan on vacating very soon!
OMG Linda! :confetti: :confetti: Huge congratulations to you and your DH! Wow, we were in the Clomid/Metformin TTC buddies thread, I remember you leaving to do IVF, how wonderful that you fall in the lucky minority that get success first go. I hope you have a wonderfully happy pg. Are you getting a cerclage put it for your cervix?
May this be the start of a huge influx!
Yay - welcome Linda
There are a few of us who are still in first trimester in here and we love newcomers!
Hi everyone!
Kar, when is your scan?
Linda I'm very sorry for the loss of your little girls but just wanted to welcome you to the forum. It's so great that you became pg on your first cycle. That happened for us too. I hope your stay here is enjoyable and best wishes for a happy and healthy pg.
Mel

Linda, OMG!!! congrats on your BFP.
I want to be the first to say i am sorry i didnt acknowledge your post in TTCAML re your thoughts on my BFP and loss of your girls, i was going through the posts today and had noticed my selfishness.. I am sorry for my ignorance, i couldnt believe i missed it and sorry for your loss & overly excited for your BFP.
When i seen your posts today i followed it from the time you acknowledged mine and was sure your time was coming and it did, i was so happy to hear you say, i am just going to say it "I AM PREGNANT".
Congratulations and H&H 8 months to you and DH.
So this place is still slowing getting more and more 'recruits' - very very good to see you in here Linda!

Okay, here we are at T minus 0 on the Justine watch clock. Waiting patiently for news ...
Hope everyone else is well this morning.
I was SURE there'd be an announcement waiting for us this morning! Today has got to be the day. Justine, hope it is all going very well
Hope all is well with justine. sure today is her time. cant wait to hear her lovely news.
Morning ladies
Still here guys :( . Dunno what's going on with my body. BH's have pretty much stalled even after a long dog walk yesterday. I have my mum staying so feel under alot of pressure to have this baby as I'm sure she doesn't want to be here for weeks. It's great having a break from DS's constant attention though - he's full on atm.
So anyway I had another great nights sleep and feel good today. I may go and do a grocery shop and hope that gets things moving. Will keep you all posted.
Geez Justine you're still here :)
****gentle labour vibes****
Justine- hope these LV help....
What! you still here. Thinking of you and hope it all happens when you get home from shopping.
LV, LV, LV, LV, LV
Hi everyone,
Thankyou to everyone for your warm welcome. So far I am feeling alright. Surprisingly I am quite relaxed, hopefully I stay that way.
Sal you asked if I would be having a stitch of the cervix and that is definetly what will happen. They will do that around 12-14 weeks and then there is no more work.
I hope everyone is well and I will talk more later.
Love Linda
Linda, get yourself a preg ticker woman :) Oh I'm so glad to hear that it's already planned (the cerclage). I really hope that you can fully enjoy this pg and not worry too much...but remember, this thread is special, there are some lovely beaded straight-jackets that are passed out to those in need! Some of the graduates of this thread needed them a lot during their pgs!
Hi Linda, had meeting with dr after last loss and he had mentioned that i too will be having stitch in at 12-13 weeks, but nothing has been said yet, have another appointment tuesday week at 10 weeks.
How many weeks are you now?
Hope your m/s is not giving you trouble. My sickness has gone, but have very little appetite if any. i eat only cause i know i have to.
Hi
I know I need to get a pregnancy ticker, but how????
Chris I am only 4.5 weeks so very very early. As yet I don't have any morning sickness. I was a little nauseaus this morning but it passed quickly.
My husband is a little worried about the risks of an etopic pregnancy so I think he is keen for our first scan to get the all clear. Are the risks that much higher because of IVF?
I can't wait to be further along.
Linda
Linda, ectopics are slightly more common in IVF than in normal pg, but the risk really is quite small. You'll be having a scan at 6 or 7 weeks, right?
As for pg ticker, you can google pregnancy ticker or go to tickerfactory or lilypie. Follow the steps, then you'll get a url that you need to put into your signature. If you go 'get' your ticker ready if you have probs getting it appearing in your signature then you can post a question for the Mods to ask them (I'll help if I can but I'm not so good at that stuff :) )
Actually........ectopics aren't more likely in IVF realistically. Unless of course embryo glue is used and the embryros are placed very close to the tube opening. Once fertilised naturally or transferred via IVF the embryos have a "free floating" period before actuall implantation in the uterus. The free floating period is when the embryo go the wrong way IYKWIM....:)
<pacing the forum for Justines new arrival>
LINDA: It is a very difficult time after your loss and can be very stressful not knowing what is going on inside (if only we had xray vision). I feel for you and can understand, i wish i could speed time up for you also.
Did your GP do beta hcg? have you thought about asking him if he could check your levels to see if they are rising?
LADIES: Checking the levels can it tell you if there is sign of ectopic? This may keep her mind at ease at least until scan. Just a suggestion.
Yep HCG levels can be an indication of possible ectopic. Also a scan at around 6-7 weeks. (I lost my tube on 7 April 2005 from an ectopic pg)
Sal - just found the post where you asked when my scan was - sorry seemed to miss it somehow... Anyway its 16 August. 13 sleeps/ not that I'm counting.... (Not!)
Linda - hang in there sweetie.
Justine? In labour yet?
Ooh so events-wise, Justine's bub (surely!) arrival imminently/has happened, then 4 days to Shez's morph scan, then 13 days to Kar's scan...um in between there must be Linda's scan? Have I missed anyone?
Nothin happening here :crying:
