MAGIC: Sorry to hear that, by your ticker you are lucky to have beautiful DD. I lost mine August 2000. It was big shock, i was 7 weeks preg and didnt know it, only bit a spotting a week after AF, thats what caught my attention and bigger shock was it was a natural conception after 6 months break of being on clomid.
JUSTINE: shopping, not do the trick. wow. bubs is stubborn. hopefully bubs will give you some sleep tonight & suprise you in the morning.
They did tell me that my hormone level was 350 at 4 weeks but I need to get another referal from my GP for my OB so maybe at the same time I might get them to take my blood again.
Linda
my HCG was 296 at 16 dpo which is 4.5 weeks (i think). just to keep your mind at ease it wouldnt hurt to have another. Keep us posted.
Thinking of you.
Chris I have made a booking for Monday so from now until then I just have to stay relaxed. Everything will more than likely be fine.
Linda
Firstly welcome to all the newbies!
Secondly my day started off fab, NOT.
Bub wasnt moving at all this morning, I was pretty sure it had been a good 12hours since I felt him last, even after Dh and I poked + prodded, wriggled, drank milo etc etc so I rushed off in a panic to the hospital.
We heard his heartbeat (thankgod I was sooooooooo worried) but they hooked me up to the CTG machine to check for contractions.
Im not in labour but my braxton hicks are 2-3mins apart *eek* My internal showed no dialation but my cevix is very very soft and bub is 100% engaged (nurse said she could feel his big head lol).
So semi-bedrest and relaxation for me so he doesnt think about making an appearance before 36wks.
Im happy for him to make it to 37wks then he has my full permission to make his way to the exit door lol
So if Im MIA dont worry, Im just milking the bedrest for all its worth this weekend and making Dh my slave ;)
LINDA: I am sure it will be fine, sorry didnt mean to upset you, i only meant to say was if you wanted to have another test, it wouldnt hurt. I guess i didnt word myself properly. Anyway sorry again.
Any word on Justine, hope she is progressing with her bubs.
Hi Ladies,
Linda, if it is any comfort, current IVF transfer practice of putting the embryo in nice and low is intended to help cut the risk of ectopic pg. As Sheree said though, the little things float around in there for a bit before settling but try not to worry too much. Remember, most of the time, they find their way to a nice safe spot. Your scan will soon be here and I hope that it helps put your mind at rest.
Justine - I am officially on first watch as it is now 1.15am on 4/8. Making up a thermos of Moccona for the vigil as we speak. More LVs to you ...
Anna - wow it does sound like your little one is keen. Oh, I am so envious of your pliable cervix (forgive me, that sounds so rude) as the only pose mine seemed able to adopt was cat's bum. It sounds so good for your labour prospects. You rest up and take it easy now ...
Just fed WM who seems to have stopped throwing up finally and am off to bed myself for my second sleep. See you all in the morning. The proper morning that is ... not this ungodly hour.
Love,
Mel
No news yet?
I keep checking....
Like ships in the night ... the checkers keep checking ...
LOL, Mel!
Quietly breezing in and out looking for some form of satisfaction....
Ah, so everyone is on tenterhooks! Who is going to be posting the wonderful news, do you know??
Mel, PMSL at your cat's bum cervix :cryinglaugh:
Shez, sounds wonderful.
Justine, hope all's well with u.
Congrats & welcome Linda, great news.
Kar, u r so close to the 2nd tri.
Oh Anna, what a scare, hehe on milking bedrest.
Mel hope that sickness is disappearing.
Hi Ladies,
<PACING FORUM WAITING ON JUSTINES NEW ARRIVAL>
Hey Mel, while you handing the thermos out with maccona, wouldnt mind one this way please.
Hey i seen n one of the posts re cats bum - never heard that, what is it, i know what a real one is - LOL.
Morning ladies - I hate disappointing you all but no news. Still just annoying BH's and buckets of CM (sorry TMI  ). Let's hope I've dilated a few more cm's so I can just do a couple of pushes and out she pops. I better ring my OB today and make another appointment for next week - I didn't think I would need to. He offered to break my waters last time but I don't see the point until I'm way overdue - I know my body can do this - I have faith.
Mel you crack me up with your cats bum cervix!!!!
Anna - try not to worry too much and enjoy your bedrest.
Trish will announce the queens arrival when she decides to grace us with her presence so stay tuned........
Ohh Justine is quiet this morning, I wonder if she has arrived? I am pretty sure Trish is posting the birth announcement when she gets the good news :babygirl:
Oh Anna I think you & Sheree will be first! Jett sounds like he is so keen. Sheree have you decided on names yet?
Some exciting scans coming up soon, all the best girls, can't wait to hear how you get on.
I had my Ob appt the other day & bubs has moved head down YAY! Not engaged but at least pointing the right way (for the meantime anyway)!
2 more school days till I am on Maternity leave...not that I am counting ;)
:stork-girl: Ohh Justine we crossed paths!!! Rest up sweet she will be here shortly.
Can't wait it has been a while since we have had a little pink one in here:stork-girl:
Shell's was the last little princess to arrive from this thread, right?
Oh Justine, I bet you are a couple more cms dilated and when you go into labour you'll just need to do the slightest throat clearing to push her out (with zero tearing). What are your plans for today, apart from having a bub?
Justine, you're right, she'll come when she's ready. You're only one day over but things at least seem to be moving which is all good.
Hi Chris - yes I'm afraid the phrase "cat's bum" has been introduced into this forum and there's no getting it out of here now. Where's that flyswat?
Tiff, you're not far wrong ... I'm literally and figuratively coming in and out ... I should just concentrate on my housework really!!
Hope all you lovely ladies are well this morning.
...probably everyone is a bit shocked by the teddybear massacre LOL (see Mel's post elsewhere)
Morning ladies
Names: currently between Mitchell Jay or Jay Mitchell, but could change.....
I neighbour who has a little boy in Kindy with DD, and who we have "playdates" with had her son on Monday. I went and visited her and the baby on Wed. Holding the baby was rather surreal, especially when I had to hold him resting on my bump - I was thinking wow I have a baby like this one inside of me :)
Yep Sheree, it is really weird being pg and holding someone's newborn. Makes it all so real!
Linda welcome! and OMG Justine I'm glad I haven't missed your baby girl's birth! Sending you loads of painless LVs!
Well I've got my computer behaving enough for me to get onto BB and am happy with at least that! I may not post much until I've fixed it completely (reinstalling software takes up so my memory) but I'll be lurking for sure!
****painless LVs Justine****
Linda my HCG was 357@ 4 weeks. Hoping your wait til next appt goes quick. I had no symptoms except tiredness and extreme LTTTC neurosis I too have worn the bedazzled straight jacket!!
Anna, what a scare! I hope bub gets used to listening to what his Mum tells him nice and early and stays put until 37wk for u.
As for me I'm still not sure I've felt Tiny move yet. I'm actually preparing to shake the dust off said straight jacket as I'm hardly showing and everyone keeps saying have you felt it? heave you felt it?
:hello: to everyone Justine watch continues
Shez, as great as you look in the straight jacket :) you don't need it! It is very common not to feel bubs kick in the first pg until after 19 or 20 weeks. I didn't feel anything really until 21.5 weeks. LOL I did wear the straight jacket and hired a doppler to check that bub was still there though, so I don't practice what I preach!
I LOVE straight jackets!!!!! Keeps the body from twitching with insanity.
Tiff you always looked stunning in the straight jacket :cryinglaugh:
Is that the one that's been Be-Dazzled? I always coveted that item.
:D Oh yes, my favourite one was the bedazzled one! I had to fight Shazz for that one!!! LOL Sal, why thank you, I was always partial to the straight jacket look myself, thought I looked stunning, especially when in a white padded room, it really offset the stainless steel buckles!
C'mon Justine! C'mon Justine's princess We want to meet you!
I'm taking her not posting as a sign that something is happening. Now I've just written that I bet Justine will pop in again and say there's still nothing happening!
Gosh I think my morning sickness has returned!!!
popping by to see.... and still no news on Justine! The watch continues and more gentle LVs being thrown that way.
Sheree - I really love the name choices you have. I lilke Jay as a first name, but I do think Mitchell Jay seems to flow better - either way, I like it :) so you have my stamp of approval (as if it was needed!)
Hope everyone else is going well... lotsa sexy straight jackets about.... am concerned about the bedazzling thats going on though... perhaps a nice fur trim could be an option?
LOL, Keen, yes, I think that would be a very fashionable option, some faux leopard fur, perhaps?
Oh yes.... noice! Might even go so far as to make it super fashionable and have some ridiculous saying on them, you know like on the bedazzled one you could have "Love the Bling, Bling" or something equally stupid! oh, and the leopard fur one could have "Porn Star" emblazened in Silver across the back! How loverly!
How about (seeing as it is a straight jacket, with a fur trim) "I am fur - ociously certifiable... no? It's a bit much isn't it???
:cryinglaugh: Yep Tiff! You've got it! We have to get this straight jacket made up, it's got Keen's name on it so we'll put it on her seat, huh?!
Stop it guys!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!
I'm under enough pressure as it is - mum keeps throwing exasperated looks my way, DH keeps ringing saying "anything happening?", I'm back on the knicker checking for signs of my show, even the dog looks bored with waiting.
Ta for the gentle LV's, perhaps we should step it up and request some stronger ones now. I still haven't resorted to anything desperate though (e.g. sex!) I think my DH would die of shock if I suggested DTD. The last action he saw was in March for his B'day LOL!
Strong LV - ;) :bd:  surprise your DH
hee hee Trish - I like it!!- thats not too much either, a lot better than you see on so many shirts out there thats for sure (like in my examples!):
I am fur - ociously certifiable
Hey Justine.... Im following Trish's example ......BIG SUPER STRONG AND IMPOSSIBLE TO IGNORE LVs heading your way!
