Monnie - well done on finally packing your bag!!!

Mako - go happy for you that dh is back & he is wonderful for spoiling you, you deserve it.

Kimbe - I know exactely what you mean about the constant eating but it does get better as you get further along, I went from having to eat every half an hour now I can go hour & a half & longer in the arvos.
I am actually 23 wks now, I can't believe next week I will be 6 months.
    The time has absolutely flown!
Yes my pg is going well except for the constant 24 hours a day reflux, I truely hope you don't suffer that one.

Well soooooooooo many customers this week have said 'oh your expecting' so I guess I am really showing now & it feels wonderful.
I guess it would be too bad if I'd just put on weight & they were commenting hey, lol.

Hi to everyone else, have a fantastic weekend.

hey Jo...sorry to hear about the 24 hours reflux...hope it settles down a bit!!! I found that mine did...but admittedly it wasn't so bad to start with...

I would guess that you are not only showing...but you're GLOWING!!! Fantastic!!!

Off to see my Ob. tonight...hopefully I'll get some news about the delivery...unfortunatley DH can't come with me as he's really sick with a sinus infection...poor boy!!! Just hoping I don't catch it!

Bought a special heatpack today...and also bought this very cool "curly snake" that curls around the cot or pram...I've been eyeing it off for ages...and today just thought I'd take the plunge!!!

Also started reorganising the linen cupboard today...yay!!! The house is an absolute mess but at least I feel like I'm achieving something!

Had to go to the birthing centre today to get an anti-d injeciton in the butt!!!

Hope you are all doing well...

Well...had my Ob. appointment tonight...was so hoping he would give me a definitive answer on the delivery...but he forgot to follow it up again!!!

So...I still don't quite know what is happening...he said he'll ring me on Monday...so hopefully I'll find out then...

Also...the baby is posterior...so I need to do some exercises to hopefully turn it around...

So...that's my news! Not quite what I was hoping...but what can you do!!!

    Hope everyone is doing well...

    Thanks for the encouragement Kotare!

I did the exercises last night before going to bed...

Not the smartest idea!!! LOL!!! Don't know if the baby has moved into the right position...but it definitely moved!!! What a night!!!

Thanks girls. It sure is good having dh home. Last night however we made a rush trip to the after hours medical centre as dh came out in an awfull looking red rash. It actually looked like measles(sp). I was quite concerned but it turned out to be *****ly heat rash the dr thought. So he is putting some cream on it and see what happens over the next 2 or so days. If it doesn't clear up we have to go back to our dr and get it checked again.

Not much else to report on here atm. Bub is moving so much these days and that keeps me very happy.

Monnie I'm sorry that your ob forgot to look into your options for you. I hope he pulls his finger out and lets you know asap hun.I'm also sending you lots of "move ziggy move" vibes your way sweety.

Jo Have you spoken to your ob about some safe medication for the heart burn hun? My ob prescribed some tablets for me and they seem to have atleast taken the edge off for me.

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I had to work this morning and we are going out for tea tonight to my fav mexican restaurant. I haven't been there since I've been pregnant so I'm really looking forward to it.

Hi Mako - i have to laugh that BB thinks what your DH was suffering from is a dirty word. LOL. I hope he is better...don't want to ruin your yummy dinner.

Monnie...sorry about ziggy getting a bit active. Hope it does the trick though!

My DH comes back on Monday night and his best mate's b'day is Tuesday night, so they are planning on us all going out to a winery for the day. I have told DH on the phone that he'd better think again, and come up with a good reason why we can't go, and we'll meet them for dinner instead. I don't plan on coming out of the 'pregnancy closet' just yet. I was never a huge drinker, but always had a glass or two for special occasions. Can't handle everyone knowing just yet...especially before our scan even.

Sorry that turned into a bit of a novel.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Kotare Yeh I thought that word would have been ok since it is a medical term, But obviously its not lol.Oh well.
I hope you have a lovely time out with your dh and friends for the birthday. I know what you mean about coming out of the pregnancy closet. The day we found out we went out for dinner with friends who like to have a drink and I'd always have 1 as I would drive and this night I didn't have anything except lemonade lol. They didn't say anything thankgoodness but I did feel like they suspected something. Thay had no idea though when we were talking about it later down the track.

Monnie How's ziggy going today hun? Anymore movements? Good luck toorrow re your ob.

Dinner last night was great. We are going to visit dh grandfather soon(he has dementia) So that will be interesting as he hasn't seen me since my belly has popped so much. He'll probably just tell me I'm getting fat lol.

Hi to you all. Hope those bubs are being good to their mummys

    Hey guys

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend...

Ours was pretty good...lots of family stuff...amazing how tired I get these days!

Had dim sum for lunch...mmmm...been craving this the whole pregnancy! Then made lemon muffins and chicken and barley soup for dinner! Getting all domesticated!!!

Still doing my exercises...who would have thought being on all 4's for 15 minutes would be so hard!!!

Not sure if Ziggy has shifted as yet...don't really know how I would tell...but I think he/she may have dropped a little...started to feel a little like a bloated whale now...trying not to...but feels like my face is getting a little puffy and definitely my ankles have swollen...not the best look!!! Anyway...I don't want to complain too much...it's a wonderful privilege to feel so puffy!!! LOL!

Have pretty much done all my 'nesting jobs' so I guess the waiting game begins!

Hope you are all doing well...take care

A wonderful friend (y'know who you are Kotare), told me I should pop my head in here, so I have.

I won't lie to you, I have sweaty palms typing this, I feel like if I post in here I'll jinx it all and the bubble will burst, but we can't be scared forever!

This is our very first PG ... ok I lie, it's our very first everything!!! We've never even had a "maybe" or "possibly" before this, and considering I have no real PG symptoms to speak of (a very slight queasiness and boobs only slightly sore) it makes it all the more "unreal" ....

i know what you mean about popping in here Diva. I feel like an intruder - lolol

Good luck doing those exercises Monnie - all for a good cause
I guess we will feel more confident when we get to the magically 12 weeks hey Kotare and Diva.
Diva, slightly sore boobs and very slight queasiness. Time will tell
Last pg i was so sick from day one with my twins - so feel like i am living on borrowed time till it kicks in. Totally convinced that there is only one in there this time!!!
    THERE BETTER BE!!!!!!!! LOLOLOL

Hi Odette...you are right, bring on week 12.
We live a very long way from any family, so we had sort of thought we would try to keep it from everyone until 12 weeks, but to be honest, i think i'll burst! I've only had to keep the secret for less than 2 weeks...and i already want to shout from the rooftops.

Funnily enough, my mum emailed yesterday to say that my cousin's wife is pg again. They are both unemployed and live with his parents and they have a 1 year old already. It's weird...i don't not want them to be happy, but i just get so jealous and a bit mad that some people have it so easy. I don't want other people to have to go through the pain and heartache we did, but i do kind of want them to appreciate how fortunate and blessed they are.
Well at least i didn't cry, which is what i normally do when i hear others are pg.
I wonder if i will always feel jealous when i hear about other's being pg?

    Hey guys

Welcome diva-n-dan...congratulations!!! So thrilled for you!

Ziggy is our first pregnancy ever too!!! After 3 years, with no BFP's, it's still surreal!

We were totally unable to keep it a secret...so I really admire all who can keep it to themselves for even a couple of days!!! We tied a baby bib around our fur baby's neck and wrote "guess who's going to be a big brother?" on it...he would then welcome family visitors at our front door...

Yeah...getting to the 12 week mark is such a relief...can't wait until all you guys are there...and then watching your bellies grow, the kicks getting stronger and stronger...

Kotare...yay that you DH is coming home tonight...I'm sure that will be wonderful! I know how you feel about some people getting it so easy with falling pregnant...I was really worried about how much our LTTTC disappointments would 'taint' our pregnancy journey....but especially after 12 weeks, I've been surprised, how little it has...my only real issue has been feeling like I'm "betraying" the LT-ers who are still on their difficult journey...does anyone else feel like that?

Mako...how'd it go with the DH's grandfather? We visited DH's grandmother yesterday...she's 95...amazing woman...showed her our latest ultrasound picture...she couldn't believe it! In her generation, pregnancies were hardly acknowledged...instead of being called "pregnant", you were called "interesting"...and her DH wouldn't let her out of the house due to 'embarrassment' of pregnancy....how awful is that! She still can't believe how open DH and I are about it (we're just normal!) and she loves feeling my belly!

Odette...so great to see you posting here...totally understand how you feel...but you are not intruding whatsoever!

Ltl Panda...hope you are doing well

To everyone else...hope things are going wonderfully! Take care!

Diva n Dan, congratulations hun, hope your pregnancy is wonderful.
Gees Odette can you imagine 2 sets of twins, ohhhh my god….hehehehe, best of luck hun, I hope it all goes well.

Monnie, I am like you, so cannot keep it a secret, I think everyone knows, but its mostly due to the fact we achieved this through IVF, and our close friends and family all knew the process. Its heard to keep a secret like this.

Feeling very hungry, more like peckish, just want to put things in my mouth all the time, I am lucky as I am still pretty active, otherwise I would balloon.

    Hope evryone else is well.

Diva n Dan Welcome and congratulations on your pregnancy. I wish you a wonderful journey to parenthood.

Monnie I was like you too and couldn't keep it a secret for too long. And really why should we lol. It is very exciting(and frightening at the same time). That is so sweet of your dh grandmother touching your belly. I'm quite overprotective of mine with most people although my nan and MIL can touch whenever they want lol.
i hope Ziggy gets the hint on moving soon and have you heared anything from your Ob?
I also feel bad leaving other Ltttc's behind too. It's such a catch 22 isn't it?

Kotare All the best to you for your scan this week. I'm sure all will be great
It is hard to hear of others becoming pregnant so easily but it does get a bit easier to be happy for them as time goes on. I also wanted people to understand the struggle that we had becoming pregnant so they understood that it doesn't always "just" happen. kwim?

Sazz I hope all is well with you hun.I haven't seen you around for a while.

I hope you all are doing ok.

Dh and I didn't end up going anywhere yesterday as he came down with something and wasn't very well. I'm sure it's nothing too serious and he's gone back to work today.

Hey Mako...haven't heard anything from my Ob. yet...will give him til this afternoon and then will ring through...fingers crossed!

Sorry to hear your DH has been unwell...so has mine! He was so sick that he couldn't come to my last Ob. appointment...but Mum and Dad came, and the Ob. was fantastic, spending about 15 minutes doing an ultrasound so my parents could see all the bits and pieces of Ziggy (except those special little bits that we don't want to see!!!)
