Should I be booking my OB now?

    Hi everyone

I'm 5 wks 3 days pg after conceiving with IUI.

My current FS was also my OB before I miscarried.

When I booked him in my first pregnancy I did it when I was 4 wks - and he was already getting booked up.

I'm assuming that, because I'm a current patient of his at the fertility clinic, and a former patient of his at his OB practice, I won't have any trouble getting on his books for this pregnancy.

Just wondering if I'm wrong, and if I need to give his rooms a call to book myself in with him.

Has anyone had any experience of this - booking current FS as OB?

    Thanks!

    yes book now,
get as much care and support as you can.
its never too early to monitor and look after you and baby.

I think it would definitely be worth making the phone call - that way you make sure it is right and don't have to worry about it.

Thanks for your replies Kristy and Taffy

I think I will call my clinic this afternoon and ask them what I should do.

The fertility clinic is looking after me until I have my first u/s at 7 weeks with them, then I guess I need to be moved over to my OB.

    Thanks again!
