Possums
Sorry you have had this horrid scare i will be pacing round the computer till i hear your news and i hope it is the best. HCG can level out or do weird things after about6 weeks, so hopefully that is all that is happening. Sending you loads of positive belly rubs and cyber hugs.
Hi everyone...you are all just the best and so lovely and supportive and have helped make my journey easier so far.
It makes me feel better to hear some of you say HCG levels can do weird things after 6 weeks...I hope that is the case.
Sadly, I am not going to know either way what's going on with our baby for at least a week!!! My OB said the fact my HCG levels have levelled out (they rose marginally in a week) is not good news, but nevertheless, they haven't gone down, and 4 days ago we had a heartbeat. So he said we have to sit tight and see what happens and told me to have another scan on Friday week...which seems an eternity away!! A whole week and a half of horrible waiting, not knowing.
He said ifI develop cramping or spotting etc to call and we'll have the scan sooner. He said best to wait otherwise so we can see more when I am about 8 weeks. He said, maybe I have just had a bit of hitch this week and things could get back on track, or this could signal a sign that things are no longer progressing as they should be. It's just so hard wondering and not knowing, and I know so many of you can relate.
In the meantime I have to try and be positive for our baby's sake. I have acupuncture tomorrow, hopefully that will help. I am eating as healthily as I can and trying to do all the right things.
hey there have you had much morning sickness? i have heard that morning sickness is a sign that the baby is embedding itself.. and is a good sign of a strong pregnancy...
all the best hope u receive good news! its good news your levels have risen slightly so far
Possums- oh geez! I hope all comes back perfect for you and theres nothing to worry about.
I dont know much about this stuff, but couldn't they do a scan now just so you could see your babys heartbeat and be put at ease at least a little?
I just wanted to say my heart goes out to you, and that Im sure you will get your positive news soon. I dont know much about this stuff and cant offer any advice, I just wanted to say Im thinking of you... Hopefully the acup will help you relax and help to stop the worry, which I can understand is the only thing you can do right now...
