    yep a low responder here!
done 7 cycles and after the first cycle which was really a trial an error i ended up on 250IU of FSH for 10 days at a time for each cycle. The most i would get would be 4 eggs- most time it was 3.
But the quality of these eggs was excellent. I got a BFP with a two embryo tranfer on my 2nd cycle and got my twins who are now 7!
Also got a BFP on my 7th cycle but this ended with an angel at 12 weeks.

On a side note- we were going back for another cycle 12 months after we lost our angel and was waiting for AF to arrive to start a fresh cycle. It never came and we conceived on our own!!! After 10 years of no luck it happened a la naturale!
so yes miracles do happen and they do happen to ordinary people everyday!!!
    Hang in there!!
Good luck- its a roll of the dice!!!

    Variable response due to PCOS.

On an induction only cycle I got too many follicles and I was advised to convert it IVF which we couldn't afford at that time so it was abandoned.

When I finally did my first IVF they were cautious with the induction drugs because of the previous experience, so I only got 5 eggs at EPU. Of which only 3 were mature enough to fertilise but all three fertilised. Two were put back in and one cultured for freezing. One of those put back became my DS who is now 11 days old. I know that is not exactly a poor response as it was due to the caution with the drugs but it is another example of very few eggs becoming a baby. HTH.

Hi, I did 2 IVF cycles, only getting 1 egg each time that did not make it to blast stage. My doctor suggested IVM where they take out the immature eggs and mature them in the lab. I got 3 eggs, all matured, all fertilised, 1 made it to the blast and now I am 8 weeks pregnant. If the doctor had not suggested IVM, they said i could have gone on for many more cycles of IVF and only collecting 1 egg.

    Good Luck!
