Advice on low & slow rising HCG levels please.

Sorry sent send on my phone.....

Anyway they seemed to be doubling ok, slightly slower than usual and my first scan showed blighted ovum with hcg 666 (omen number ).

Came back a week later and there was a heartbeat around 107 YAY.

I requested one more u/s to keep my mind from going into overdrive and had it at 9 weeks and no more heartbeat.

My hcg was still rising so I had to have a d & c which I was ok with because I had exams but it was a horrible roller coaster. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed you get results like I did for my dd!!! It's so unknown what will happen but I honestly believe had I not stressed out so much things might have been different. I was literally having panic attacks because we had been trying so long.

Thanks girls, so very much for replying, and for sharing your own stories. It's very courageous to expose yourself personally like that. I do appreciate it
I feel like I can't breathe, my face is all swollen from crying & i'm living in a limbo of desperate hope & sheer fear

If I had to, I could probably pinpoint the 'day' we DTD and it was only a few days before (we've been very quiet this month in the bedroom)......I know this pregnancy is super early, and that my numbers have increased by 66% over the 24-48 hour period obviously if they went from 5 to 19.
My lower abdomen feels really heavy today, and my lower back slightly aches. Please don't be happening, it shouldn't happen, it's not right that it does.

How many days past ovulation are you?

At my clinic if it is under 100 at 14dpo it is seen as equivocal. I have had levels of 5 and 2 at that stage and they have been deemed chemical pregnancies. I scoured the Internet for good news stories at the time but they were very, very few and far between.
I am sorry you are going through this

I have no idea about ovulation though (natural cycle), so really DTD won't help my cause too much will it? I don't know at all.
My GP did say there was a 5-10% chance of everything being okay, but she seemed so un-optimistic

Just saw your sig N2L, fingers, toes, legs & eyes crossed for you. xx

    Thanks x

Many women ovulate around day 14 (give or take a day or two) so you could be around 16 days past ovulation???
This is more likely if you have a standard 28-30 day cycle.

My periods are all over the place, so nothing standard I would think, and have been that way since DS was born. Sometimes they're only 21 days (or less) and others 40 days+. I always POAS if there's no sign around day 28, hence why I know early this time.

Sunny......I am thinking such positive thoughts about this little bubba. Why do you have to wait 2 weeks to have more bloods taken? Can you ask for another test tomorrow to see if HCG is still rising?

I know, as I said in my earlier post that my HCG was quite low and my GP gave me a handful of blood test referrals and told me to get blood taken every two or three days to ease my axiety levels.

I shall be checking in regularly to see how you are going. HUGS.
