I think it totally depends on your personality! I love mine and I know without it I would have gone crazy this pregnancy and been a lot more anxious... but I have always been able to find my heartbeat very easily from 9.5 weeks and when i couldn't find it before then I knew it was becasue it was too early so it didn't worry me. I'm now starting to feel movement but for that period between 10 weeks and when you feel movement it is really helpful I think. I check in every day but only for a few seconds. I can totally understand how someone may totally disaagree with me though and say that it increases anxiety, but I can only speak for myself. I hired mine with previous pregnancies but bought one this time off ebay. I was worried it wouldn't be as good quality (from China) but it is exact;y the same as those you hire.
