    It is possible to get pregnant immediately after birth. It's different for everyone. I hope you're OK with whatever happens - just get resources in place to help you through, whether that's counselling of SIDS and Kids. Subsequent pregnancies after loss are extremely stressful. I recommend grief counselling anyway.

    I understand it's difficult to get to doctors etc. Just driving somedays feels like trying to get to the moon In the early days, I planned to do just 1 thing a day and was happy if I did it. I still have days like that. I imagine it's a lot harder with other kids to look after.

    We prevented for 6 months. DH didn't want our next bub due anywhere near DS's birthday. We found that time important for our emotional healing.

    i wish we had of thought of that more, DS was born the 20th of jan, DD was due the 3rd of jan, so if i went over i would have been getting really close, mind u the chances of me hitting 40 are slim let alone anymore, but it still provided that extra un-needed stress
