Unhappy I don't have ms very bad and am worried

Hi everyone I know it's early days in my pregnancy and there's plenty of time to get ms but I did have nausea and I did vomit a week ago but since then I haven't really felt sick, today is the 1st day that I haven't really felt like a nana nap and just this evening I've started freaking out that something could be wrong. I know symptoms come and go but it's almost impossible not to worry. Thank God I've got a scan booked for Wed which I can't wait for. If anything is wrong with this buba I know I wont cope

Not sure what I'm really looking for with this post... I guess I just wanted to express my feelings.... Gosh I am so worried

Perfectly normal to be worried hun.
I had no MS with the girls at all but felt really nauseus for months with DS (only threw up once though)
I think everyone is different but you will find plenty of people who have had little or no MS.

I agree, perfectly normal to be worried but i'm sure bub is all fine and tomorrow you will wake up feeling . I totally understand where you are coming from. When i was pg with ds i have no ms what so ever and was constantly stressing about whether or not he was ok. I know that nothing we can say will stop you completely worrying but do know that we are all here holding you hand. 3 more sleeps till you see you precious little bub

Yes it's normal to worry, and it's also normal to experience little, or no MS.
I had mild MS with my first PG, a bit of nausea with my boys - maybe one or two chucks, and absolutely nothing with DD2, not even nausea.
You just got lucky on that front I think

You've had a pretty rough trot....maybe it's just bub cutting you some slack

As the others have said, perfectly normal - both the worriedness, and lask of symptoms....I had nada too.

*sigh* as I exhale a big breath, thanks for all of your replies and hand holding, I really do feel better now. I did consider that I was just being cut a big of slack due to the challenges of arriving at this point to even be pregnant, lets hope that is the case and everything is fine on Wed. Thanks again girls

Absolutely no MS for me with either of my pregnancies (one a pink bundle, the other blue so nothing to do with gender for me!). I kept POAS until I had a belly because I couldn't believe I was really pregnant with no symptoms!

It's normal to worry, but I'm sure you and bub are both perfect and you're just very lucky!

i feel the same cherished, i've only had a little nausea so far and i'm 7weeks 3days, no m/s whereas with my DD & our i had m/s start the day after i went to the doctor. My only loss was confirmed as a missed miscarriage in November so it's still fairly new and i'm worried & scared about this pregnancy but i'm trying not read too much into not having any m/s yet i also havent had a implantation bleed, i'm doing my best to think positive and cant wait for Wednesday when i have my 1st scan.

oh I love all you girls

It does look like I've got a couple of stalkers Joeve, Sarah & hj1981 Which I'm so happy for, it's so nice to know I'm cared about hope you are all doing well xoxoxo

To all the other lucky girls who didn't have ms you are all my shining lights that nothing is wrong so THANK YOU all for posting, you have truly calmed me down

OK so today it seems that as usual I was a little worry wort for nothing I woke up feeling queezy and got up at 6:30, went back to bed at 8:30 (after looking on BB) and slept for another 2.5hrs So I guess I am just going to be one of the lucky ones that has mild to no ms. I've also pretty much decided to get a doppler because last time I freaked out when I had no symptoms I broke out in a rash all over my arm from stress! So I figure if I can check the heartbeat once or twice a week I will be much calmer. Any suggestions on a doppler brand etc?

you have very reason to feel stressed and worried, its all normal... I am glad that you feel sleepy today, and your not so stressed out, as I am sure you no that is no good for you or baby...

I have never brought a doppler, just make sure if you do get one you dont let it stress you out too, sometimes those little heart beats are hard to pick up even for the experts...

    huge to you,

    Love,
one of your many stalkers xx

Hon I had increasingly bad nausea from 8weeks to 8 weeks + 5 days then on the 6 day I woke up feeling awesome. I as extremely worried to feel so good! I had a bit of brown discharge too.. made an earlier appt with the OB and all was fine. I never had nausea again and am now 38 weeks

I had another episode of disappearing symptoms at 14 weeks and decided to get hold of a doppler to calm myself a bit! hired one from a website called pink and blue, I can't recall why exactly but having done some research decided that they were the best choice rather than getting a super cheapie from ebay. I hired it from 15-19 weeks and returned it after 19 week scan as I was starting to feel some movements then

As the PP mentioned it is very hard to find the heartbeat so early on so home use of a doppler is not recommended until you're a bit further down the track.

    All the best
