its perfectly safe, and I don't believe that this pregnancy is at any greater risk of loss in a general sense because you didn't get AF. Its a little bit like mums who BF then get pregnant without AF first....they just got lucky on the ovulation that has to occur before AF can come!
I am in the same situation, in that I had my D/C a month ago, then 6 days ago got what I thought was AF. When I went to the IVF clinic (to start blood tests for another IVF cycle) the next day, my HCG was measured as being increased. Another test 2 days later confirmed I was PG naturally.
Whether this little one will survive or not is uncertain. I am 41 so there is a risk of loss because of my age (50% I think). My little angel was diagnosed after DC with trisomy7, so this is in my mind.
