We are very quiet in here! What's going on with everyone? Nothing much with me! :P

Phew, I've had a hectic few days.... where to start. Well on the baby front, I had my cervical suture placed under general anaesthetic on Wednesday 28th. Obs said it went well. Just a struggle for me in the post anaesthetic phase, so very tired. If I over do it I feel sick and tired. So trying to rest as much as I can and get those fluids into me to flush it all out. The other thing that happened was HB had a severe allergic reaction to an insect bite, well bites on her foot and lower leg. She was bitten on Chrissy day, but didn't start to really react til Boxing day. Blew up like a balloon, her skin blistered up and then burst. Took her to the ER and they were going to admit her as it looked like celulitis, but the consultant paed ( thank god for priv health insurance) said it wasn't necessary and was just an allergic reaction, but we had to go back for review on the day I had my stitch in. So Tuesday and Wednesday were spent at the hossy for us. Though, Wednesday it was two different ones. Thankfully on Wednesday HB's foot was much better and she didn't need to be admitted. I guess if I think about it was a stressful time. I am just glad we live close to an ER and have those facilities at hand. If she had been admitted we would have gotten through. Good thing is there is no anaphylaxis and not likely to be. We've even gotten HB to accept her disgusting smelling antibiotics somehow without a fight. Don't ask me how. Maybe she just worked out it was easier not to fight it anymore? Or maybe the stickers help? She gets to choose one and then put it on a chart.
Hope everyone had a nice christmas and is looking after themselves. Time for me to rest.
I am now brave enough to start telling people I am pregnant we had the NT scan today and I got to see a very lively little baby jiggling around:clap::clap:
Wonderful Mel! Here is to a happy and uneventful 28 weeks :).
MelM - congrats on your pregnancy!!! And getting to see bubs at your scan... it's pretty awesome. Welcome to our little group and I look forward to getting to know you.
Hi Lovely ladies
I'm sorry Ive been MIA for ages, just dont have the time at the moment with work and life.
Was extremely sadned to see your loss Bec ~ may your beautiful precious angel rest in peace and never be forgotten! spread yoour wings sweet angel, thinking of you and the family xoxo
Sorry its late but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!
May 2012 bring much peace and happiness!
Dory - thanks for your welcome I did pop in early in pregnancy but was dealing with many doubts etc as I am sure all the lovely ladies in here have. Seeing the scan was just an amazing feeling and starting to take the nerves away
Bec - my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time
AFM unfortunately 12 weeks came and went and I was hoping that the all day sickness would go with it but alas no :( but it isn't as bad so hopefully this means it won't last the whole time :crossfingers:
MelM - hopefully not! It's yucky isn't it? Hope those doubts are starting to ease.
Loops - OMG I just say your ticker, 21 weeks my friend. Well done! Hope 2012 isn't as busy for you... well not this part anyway :)
I have been pretty out of sorts following the anaesthetic for the stitch. Today is day 5, and finally this evening I am feeling more normal., not great but better than I have been. I have also been pretty glum too, but that's because since the anaesthetic I haven't felt Raspberry Bear kick as much as I was, and I think I just believed all was lost. It's starting to get into the time I start to worry more anyway. And New Years is a really tough time for me these days. It's when I stop and realise that my babies aren't here and each NYE takes me further away from them. I used to love NYE and making resolutions and the fire works and the celebrations. I used to feel genuinely excited. Now, it just doesn't interest me. Sometimes I wonder if I am living in the past? I am very grateful for HB and the joy she brings each day and the pure wonder at getting to watch her grow and to be part of that, but it doesn't mean I don't love and miss my angels. Anyway, on NYE, the three of us went to the memorial garden at sunset and just sat in the beautiful tranquility. It was just what my little heart needed. DH said it helped him. HB got to bring a little rock home from the garden. She loves rocks. So it was a winner all up.
Dory  takes me 4 days usually to feel OK after anesthetic. I hope you feel chirpy tomorrow :).
Morning sickness has well and truly set in here, I feel so crap :(.
Maruschke - yeah I know it usually takes me that long too, I don't know why I am so surprised by it. Sorry you're feeling off. It's hard to feel happy about being pregnant when you feel so yuck. Hope you can get some relief. Oh here's something I didn't know. Was talking to the anaesthetist about the blackmores morning sickness herbal formulation, and he said that ginger is a blood thinner ( we were also talking about asprin and pregnancy). The things you find out.
Having my morphology scan (18-20 weeks - I'm 19 weeks today) tomorrow afternoon, I will report back and let you if we are having a boy or a girl, so excited but also nervous in case they find a problem. Hubby is definitely coming in this time!
GL tomorrow sweetie, will be thinking of you.
Thinking of you blondtress :grouphug: enjoy the scan.
Dory how interesting about the ginger. I eat a gingernut biscuit before I even sit up in the morning, then take a maxalon tablet, and a sip of water. Jump up, go to the dunny, whack in the progesterone, then back to bed for a nap. Then I take my mv's with dinner. Seems to be working. How is your nausea? All gone I hope?
Well we had our scan today and everything looked perfect and will be having a PINK one!! Woot! So excited, can't wait to meet her. Still due 30/5/12 :cheer: :pink-babydust:
Awesome news! Glad your bub is OK :D. Girls are awesome.
Fantastic blondtress! :)
Sent from my iPod touch - sorry for any mistakes!
Blondtress.....Congrats on a good scan. I think girls are awesome too. We've had 4 girls and 1 boy. It will be intetesting to see for us which gender we get. We are going surprise, so have a while to wait.
Mar - I take mv at night too. No need for maxalon here for a while. Though I save them for days I just can't stand the nausea. But it's less intense most of the time now. So lucky. The maxalon makes such a difference.
So when did you get your bfp and what's the LMP date? My LMP is B'day birthday and BFP on 21 Oct but strong and obvious on 23 Oct, my friends twins birthday. Super exciting times.
Just thought I'd pop in to say that I had a scan today, and bubs measures exactly on dates at 8w0d, hr 172 bpm. No more cysts to be seen. Yay!
I also seem to be over the worst of the morning sickness which is great. LMP was 12/11/11 and bfp on 6/12/11, edd 17/08/12 :D.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Mar - awesome!!!! Congrats on getting to see bubs and yay for banishing the m/s....
Bec i know that i am so sorry. I am sorry that i am so late
I am still around but i dont have internet service i can only jump on every so often but i am keeping an eye on everyone
Well I was due to have our first baby today so that is sad :( But we have our little girl to look forward to in May so that makes me happy :)
Blondtress - hope you got through your EDD ok today. You'll feel lighter now in this lil pink pregnancy you're having....
Angel good to hear from you - hugs to the girls!!! Angel - do you think you'll go again on the ttc/baby train ride?
Mar - god that there are no signs of cysts.

mel yay!!! I love seeing bub!
I saw my own bub today measuring perfectly on dates with a lovely hb. Awww
Way to go ladies!! Glad everything is going well for everyone.
Thinking of you all, all the best.
We've all gone quiet!!! Hope everyone is well.
I have not been getting the email notifications in some of the other threads I am in. Wonder if that's happening here for others as well?
All going ok here. Good days and frantic days.... what am I saying? Hopeful moments and frantic moments is how I am progressing. But that's normal. Sigh.
Loops - 24 weeks girl! Well done!!!! What an awesome achievement. Belly rubs.
Angel - hugs sweetie, sorry that you feel you made a bad decision..... it is very hard to have a baby in NICU... and you also had to care for H. It must have been so hard to be torn like that. Needing to spend time with Lily and needing to spend time with H. Hope you're doing ok.
I should try to get some sleep. Night all.
Hi dory! You're right! I kind of 'forgot' about this thread cause it wasn't popping up on my 'participated topics' section cause nobody has participated, lol.
Update: I'll be 38 weeks on Wed! Eeee! Nearly there! Bub has been head down for weeks but not engaged yet, though I think it's trying to as of 2am this morning, lol. I'm nearly ready, just got lots of last minute bits and bobs to organize, but in terms of being physically ready... Oh yes! Bring it on! I can't wait to sleep on my back again and not be boiling hot and sweaty every minute of the day. It's gradually going up to 40 here by Saturday... Each day will be worse and worse. I'm just praying the 80% humidity disappears! I have a/c but only in the lounge and bedroom and there's still so much to do, but all in the hot rooms! A bit frustrating! Still, I'm sure it'll all work out :)

Hi everyone..I'm new to this site and I thought if share my story.
I have 2 children already and back in July I unexpectedly got pregnant again. I was very nervous because I knew we weren't financially ready for a third child but I wanted one so bad and my husband said he would work 3 jobs if he had to. Well..in September I went in for my first ultrasound and found out that I had a "missed miscarriage." For those who don't know what that is its when the tissue/egg is still inside but it had stopped growing. So I was technically 9 weeks pregnant but the pregnancy had stopped progressing at 5 weeks. My doctor advised me to let my body miscarriage naturally rather than do the dnc or take medication. Well..long story short..after 4 straight months of heavy bleeding, 2 emergency room visits and a lot of pain I finally fully miscarried. Horrible experience to say the least. Now that I've been back to normal for about a month my husband and I are both anxious to start trying again but I'm still worried about our finances and everything else. I know I should wait but I'm going crazy!

Hi LvS19 *waves* sorry you ended up in here, but welcome. I'm so sorry to hear of your MM. That's how I ended up in here too. My first pregnancy was a MM also at my 12 week scan, so I know how horrible it can be :( I actually opted for the medication misoprostol and had the most awful horrible pain I've ever felt in my life! My Mum said she thought it was worse than labour, judging from my symptoms and reaction. I'd never use misoprostol again! It doesn't sound like waiting for it to occur naturally was any more pleasant for you either :( just a nasty business altogether!
I don't blame you for not wanting to wait! After a week or so, I felt the same and wanted to get straight back into TTC. Good luck with it! I hope it happens soon and you have a healthy sticky bub and your finances sort out :)

Hi and thank you. The final stage of my miscarriage was definitely worse than either of my labors! My husband and I talked for a long time last night and unfortunately its just not possible for us to have another kid right now. I think we are going to come up with a plan and hopefully we can get pregnant within a year or so.

Hi all
Hope everyone is well - I'm sorry Ive been MIA again, I've been struggling badly with severe back ache at night and huge lack of sleep. Apart from that, everything is wonderful, bubs is doing super, lots of movements all the time etc.
Phebee ~ ohh so close, all the best hun, can't wait to hear the announcement.
LvS19 ~ very sorry for your miscarriage - hugs! I hope your finances sort out asap and you can start trying again.
Dory ~ thanks for the belly rubs and wishes etc the other week. Hope everything is going well for you!
Blondtress ~ congratulations on expecting another girl! Thats wonderful
Take care all and best of wishes - I hope I can get on here a little more often soon.
Hi Ladies,
Just thought I would pop in quickly to let you all know I am still ticking along, looks like they will be inducing me at 38 weeks if all keeps going well for us and I can keep my sugar levels at a decent level. Hope you are all going well with your pregnancies and belly rubs to you all. I will try to keep up with everything and do persies next time.
Oh HUGE CONGRATS to Dory, belly rubs and here's to a very H&H pregnancy for you darl.
*sneaks in* ... Still stalking occasionally for the girls i shared my TTC or pg journey with... Clairesmummy i've been thinking about you and hoped that all was going well even though you hadn't posted for a while. So glad you are still ticking along (though with GD it sounds like?). How many weeks now?
Loops: lovely to see your ticker moving along too. Can't believe where the time has gone!
Dory: I was so pleased to see that a sibling for HB is on the way. Can't believe you are into your second trimester already!
Belly rubs to all! *sneaks out*...
Hey Possum yes I have the fabulous GD yet again was diagnosed with it at 14 weeks, I am on insulin 4 times a day now, not fun at all. I am now 33 weeks and looking like I will be induced at 38 weeks going by my OB. How's things going for you darl?
Hi Ladies
Thanks Clairesmummy and Possum magic.
Clairesmummy ~ glad to see all is well and not long to go now then :)
AFM ~ had a scare today and of all days on our 5 yr anniversary :( had to rush to hospital as I started bleeding. Had an ultrasound and bubs is all good, everything fine phewww. Looks like because my placenta is low and now bubz head is right on it - its bled a little. They told me I could go back to work so I guess that means I could be fairly confident, although I am still a little worried. Ive had a tiny bit of tummy ache but perhaps thats to be expected with the blood. Hasn't been anything too significant.
Its pretty quiet in here but I really hope thats because everyone is well and enjoying pregnancy - :bellyrubs::stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl:
Eek Loops! Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it stays okay and no more bleeding! Xxx
Nothing from me here cause I'm 41 + 2 and going crazy! I'm supposed to be being induced tonight but when I called at 2pm, like they asked, they were flat out and said call back at 5pm. My Belly Buddy at the same hospital who is exactly 41 weeks today is in the same boat. We're going crazy together! Lol

Just have to quickly jump in here for a few seconds sorry to gate crash..... Some of you have known me through a lot of highs and a lot lows but this news I have to say to you all... We are officially TTC i'm just so thrilled that we have taken this next step and have tried to honour our son with the time we have grieved, I know there is no right or wrong time frame to grieve but I just had to tell some one as we aren't telling anyone IRL not until we have a definite baby in this oven.... So happy right now
So glad to hear HPL! I hope this TTC is short and sweet for you and you have a nice sticky bub. Grief is very personal, so I'm sure the time you left for it was right for you xxx
I am in! I've had the gel put in, so just waiting now! Hope this bub decides to come quickly, lol :)
