Less stressed but still not connected. I think it will coming crashing in once the birth has happened successfully (which right now just means getting an alive baby out, no matter how).
Feeling a bit headachey today, sorry no persies.

Maruschke - you will have a wonderful birth. I just know it.
DG - I'm in bed freaking out in a similar way. I'm just so scared. And sick. And scared that it will all be for nothing. But I think I've been where you are before, last pg, and I do think it was AND. I thought it was normal PAML feelings at the time, but this time I only feel apprehensive, not obsessively fearful. So try to get some help. Just in case. Numbers don't mean much when you feel this way, I know. So forget em, and just try to take day by day.
Time til my scan is plodding. Two weeks from Monday.
:hello: All
Well the "afternoon" sickness is still here but not AS bad as the other day, Ive been taking the Ginger tablets (2 tabs) at 11am and that seems to help so Im sticking to that, so far so good!
My next OB appointment is not until after the nuchal test which is the 9th of May 9 (day before my bday!) all goes well
Thanks. Im feeling a bit better now. Not confident, but ok.
Audax - Maybe I have AND too. I wouldnt be surprised. Im sorry that you and Maruschke have it. Im feeling so sick as well and I just hope it isnt all for nothing, again. Good luck for your scan in two weeks. I'll be thinking of you.
Mia - Im glad the ginger tablets are helping. Anything that helps is good.
DG!!! Omg! Congrats babe! I'm praying so hard for you. I know your fear- sometimes it's so hard to breathe- after all you've been through it seems like all your destined for is another angel. But try and hope- it's all that you can do. It's hard to have faith, when you have before and it's been decimated over and over again- but it can happen.
Just this afternoon I was standing on the beach watching DH and Alex play while holding Riley. There, in the exact same spot on the exact same beach where I stood a year and a half ago sobbing for lily. Thinking that I wanted to die- all I was destined for was dead babies and pain. My then DF held me and I sobbed I was broken- finally, after everything else I'd been through I was shattered. He held me, and through his tears told me that was ok, he would show me how to put myself back together (and that he was good with superglue lol) That was one of the most powerful moments in our relationship- so much so that a month ago I walked down the aisle to 'when I look at you' by Miley Cyrus.
Today I stood there gazing at the biggest rainbow I'd ever seen with my rainbow baby in my arms- safe and warm and mine.
It happens babe, we'll be praying for you.
Lots of love and the stickiest dust EVER xxxxxxx
Thankyou so much Yas, I was in tears reading your beautiful post. Im so glad you got your rainbow baby and can truly appreciate the gift that he is. BTW, you have one amazing husband there! Thankyou so much. xx
Very beautiful Yas
:hello: everyone
Gees not much chatting in here atm, I hope everyone is well :grouphug:
AFM - just plodding along, today I'm a little nervous as I dont feel any of my "sickness" or anything I usually feel but I'm just hoping my body has started to accept this little one is here and just relaxing? I'm very scared obviously since its 10 wks today and its not like I have an u/s machine at home to check all is ok. I dont have cramping or any signs other then not feeling much. If ANYONE is the same it would be nice to have company....
Ah Mia - Congrats on 10 weeks :)
I hear you! I've never had many symptoms but am starting to feel less tired and have more energy this week - which is great but of course, worries me too  I've read things about starting to feel better when the placenta starts taking over hormone production, which should be around now. So let's go with that!!!
When is your next scan? Is it at 12 weeks? I have one next Thursday, even that feels like ages!
Yas- thanks for the beautiful story. It gives us hope.
DG - glad to hear you're feeling a little more relaxed
I hope everyone else is doing great! :)
Mia, Its a worrying time isnt it:hug:. Im equally as worried but I have plenty of symptoms, but from experience, I know it wont make a difference to whether I m/c this one or not.
Sickness can come and go, especially around 10 weeks, you may find it all comes back this afternoon or you may be one of the many (oh so lucky) people find their m/s reduces or stops at this time. Just try to remember you have heard the h/b and for most people that means all will be perfectly fine. Can you get another scan to put your mind at ease?
Mich we posted at the same time. Good luck for you next scan.
Try to relax and enjoy being symptom free (hard I know).
Im just over 7 weeks now! Time is dragging!!
Thanks SO much Mich and DiamondG
Mich - Its funny when you have M/S you wish it to go away but somehow its comforting. I'm just taking what you ladies said in and that it is probably starting to wein now that I've hit the 10 wks mark :) My next scan is not until the 9th of May so its awhile away, doubt I could get a scan in until then cos I work every day and its a 1 1/2 hour commute home so I never make it ontime for anything to be open! ARGH! :crossfingers: this little one is giving me a little break from M/S ;)
DG - yeh seeing the little h/beat was awesome wish I had some machine at home that could show me that all the time LOL I'd be attached to it 24/7 LOL
Thanks again ladies you always put my mind at ease
Woohoo Mia! Hey, are we Belly Buddies now? I think so! That's you, me, chepie and HPL all due in November!
My m/s has eased right off  I have actually managed to get all my chores done today! Woohoo! For a while that was just worrying me, as my m/s eased off at 10-11 weeks in my first pregnancy too, but I *think* I can feel movement, crazy as that seems, and so I feel a little reassured by it. But time until the scan is certainly dragging! Have to go and get the BT tomorrow.
Those little signs of reassurance are great arent they audax, im due in november too but right at the end (30th)

WOW Audax you can feel movement?! Thats wonderful :) Its awesome to have a few of us here due around the same time, it will be great to continue this journey with you all. Its SO exciting
MrsS - that was my due date last pregnancy! Well, one of them - we ended up using an earlier date, which was a bumer as I went waaaaaaay after that! Christmas baby :heartbeat: and this year we'll have another one!
Morning ladies,
On my phone so sorry if I have forgotten anyone....
On the Ms side my gosh I was so terrible sick for about three Weeks ... now though barely nothing and it freaked me out too i'm only around 8 Weeks and with my pregnancies I have never been lucky enough to have it ease off, but I too think think I can feel movement as well but will wait until my scan tomorrow!!!!!!
I do love that there are a few of us in the Nov due dates :) I still think I'll go earlier than 27th..... I think i'm a fast baker as DD was born at 37w4days and the doctors thought she was overdue and she was very dry and starting to peel...
Trying to remember what else was said, sorry I can't remember.....
Belly rubs to all, positive thoughts ladies, today we are all pregnant and that's fantastic!!!!
Audax- Thats so great you can feel baby moving and that your m/s has dropped off. Good luck for your scan on Monday!!!
Hope - Goodluck for your scan tomorrow. I think 8 weeks is a bit early for feeling movement, are you sure you are only 8 weeks? I guess you will find out tomorrow!
AFM - Im due 2nd December, so I could easily join you all in November if this bub decides to come early (just hoping I make it that far).
DG - I have done som research on fetal movements in twins and there has been evidence to suggest that movements can be felt earlier in 2nd onward pregnancies... so that could be it... but it is also possible that I had an implantation bleed aposed to AF back in Jan... but we will see....
I have read that too hope but havent experienced it myself as im in the 8th week now too and no movements here yet.

Ooohh, twins perhaps HPL. Wishing you well for your scan tomorrow. I cant wait to you come back and update us all after your scan!!
HPL how'd the scan go??
AFM - rang a local U/Sound place and got an appointment after work (just got back), all good baby measuring 10 wks which is what I am and little heartbeat going well. We noticed its head and little stubby hands. It even moved! So sweet, now I can relax and have a good weekend!
Have a great weekend ladies!! :loveshower:
How cute Mia!
How did you go HPL?
No news here going to book in for my next scan once we have moved. Pretty boring really this early on

How did you go HPL?? (stoopid me thought it was tomorrow)
Mia - Im so glad you got a scan to put your mind at ease. Seeing the h/b at 10 weeks is awesome!!! Not long and you'll be out of the first trimester.
Wow, HPL, my DD was born at nearly 42 weeks, and no peeling. The placenta looked like a shiny pink handbag, so I am definitely a slow cooker! You're more of a pressure cooker. DD was huge, don't know if she was just busy laying down fat in those extra two weeks, I certainly was!
Twins scares the bejeezus outta me. Not because of having twins, they're awesome (today is the 7th! birthday of twin boys I used to nanny as little babies) but because of the complications. Also because the symptoms are so similar to a molar, in fact, with my first pregnancy my GP thought it was twins when I was 11 weeks. But no sign this time.
I am so doubtful about early movements, everything I've read says it's not possible, but it doesn't feel like anything else I've ever experienced. Except... fetal movement. I felt it pretty early with DD (15 weeks) so, yeah, I dunno if it's that or something else.
I totally forgot to get my BT today. The day just got crazy on me, and I totally forgot. Monday! Last possible day I can do it, which means I have to go to the place near swimming lessons. I went for some of my early BTs last time (weekly betas last preg) and they are really rude and mean and they made me cry and collapsed my veins. I don't wanna go there!!!!
Evening ladies,
Just thought I'd pop in to say scan is tomorrow :) will definitely let you know :D
I'm still not convinced there movements of bub but like you said the only other time i've felt this getting is with DD so I don't know :s lol
Night all
Hi Ladies,
Had my Scan..... very excited to say we have a healthy little bundle of joy measuring further along than originally thought :D at 9+1w YAY... strong heartbeat of 174bpm
!!
DH, DD and myself are very excited and now feel this is real and can look forward to the rest of this pregnancy!
Congrats HPL , that's great news! And less time to wait before the 1st trimester's over!
Mia, glad u got the scan to ease your mind. Exciting!
Sorry. On my phone so can't remember everyone's updates. I've been reading tho and so happy to hear everyone is doing well.
I'm feeling 100% now. No headaches, tiredness or aches. Yay but hoping all is still good. Getting nervous about scan on thurs but that's normal for me! I'll be spending the Anzac day holiday panicking!!! Ha ha.
Congrats HPL!
Great news HPL!!!
Thats great news HPL
Mich :goodluck: on your scan next week!
AFM - having a good weekend just eating a fair bit but nausea's settled so I got to do a bit more round the house which is a relief!
2 weeks till the nuchal test!
The u/sound guy said that after the nuchal test there's the morphology at 20wks to be thinking about. Can someone tell me what that looks for/at?
Fantastic HPL!!
Yes Audax the complications with twins are scary at almost 1 we still have to have regular appts at specialists and hospital and i cant even begin to name the amount of complications through the pregnancy, birth and beyond but my 2 little men are certainly worth it.
Since i cant move all the big furniture by myself im going to book in for my scan
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Hi everyone,
Mrs S - Glad to hear you wont be moving the big furniture yourself.
Mich - Goodluck for your scan this week!
AFM - Im supposed to have booked my scan already (Im 8 weeks now) but I just cant bring myself to make the appointment. I have the referral waiting (Ive had it for 3 weeks) but I just cant ring up. The fear is incredible, I literally start shaking when I think about the scan. I guess it doesnt help that Im not feeling confident about this pg and all my losses have been detected at scans. Im not sure what to do? Do I leave it for another week or two and have the fear get worse or do I just get it over with and have it now knowing Im still at risk of missed m/c further down the line (9-12w is the danger zone)? Please keep in mind that this pg is probably my last shot. If this doesnt work, I dont think I can go through this again.
What state are you in? Can someone go with you? I totally understand not wanting to go .
DG would it hurt to wait? I know with DD1 i was terrified after losing Anthony i didnt have a scan until 13 weeks
