Mich - 75 is awesome! I don't think mine ever got that high with DD's pregnancy!
HPL - so thrilled for your feeling of positivity. I'm feeling it too
Mke - congrats on your scan! Two girls will be wonderful, and your DD will love having a sister.
Saw my Dr today, got a fresh script for Maxolon, I'm leaning on it pretty heavily this time. She remembered how unwilling I was to even take a panadol last time round - how far I've come. We laughed about vomiting, and she told me that the more morning sickness you get, the more likely you are to have a smart kid. Apparently there was some study a few years ago. I blame DH and his three degrees, making genetically smart babies that make me spew!
-
WOW Mich78 59,500 HCG! WOOHOO  thats awesome
Audax - LOL re the theory of vomiting makes for a smart baby, mine mustnt be at all brainy then LMAO I've had 0 morning sickness this time round. Ahhh well hahahahaha
HPL - thanks for the positivity , I dont know I have a feeling about my little one too and that he/she will be with us for a long time so :crossfingers:
AFM - I didnt get to the docs ontime (thanks to a burst water main on Parra Rd!) for a BT yesterday so still just thinking positive and letting it ride for now.
Any thoughts on using Veet depilatory cream for your upper lip whilst UTD? I havent used it just incase but am starting to get desperate LOL
:help:
-
Hi Ladies,
Audax: I have maxalon here too but some far havent needed it... my DH on the other hand has been suffering from severe MS and cravings and wild mood swings... such a nice break lol - I like your theory on the worse MS the smarter the kids... I like to this DD is quite bright and my MS with her lasted from day dot to 30weeks... ALL DAY EVERY DAY....
Mia: bugger about the BT but i guess this way you can enjoy your weekend without worrying (even just a little) about the results... Glad you have a positive feeling about this bubs too...
I have a question.... What are your thoughts on the Digital HPT?? I have used them before and they have been quite accurate... I have just taken one as I am completely 100% addicted to POAS lol and it came up with 3+weeks... Now according to me - which i have to admit this is the only month in my life that i bothered to track my ovulation - I should only be 2weeks post ovulation - 2 week 3 days at a stretch... but this test was BAM 3+ so I am wondering if I have gotten my dates wrong??? To be honest I would LOVE to be further along than I thought.... Just wanted your thoughts thats all.
Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!!
-
HPL - the digis work on weeks past conception. So stop stressing!
-
Hi all, on my phone do just a quick update :)
I saw a heartbeat of 120 at my scan this morning!! So happy to see something in the sac this time. Apparently it's measuring 5wks 5 days. I know I'm 6 wks exactly so I'm hoping there's just a lot of margin for error at this early stage!
HPL- i once looked up the hcg levels for those digital tests. I have a vague memory that 3+ weeks is hcg of 2000 and above, but don't quote me!!!
-
-
:happyforyou: Mich thats awesome ;)
Wish my scan was sooner! Have you had more symptoms?
-
Thanks Maruschke and Mia
Mia- not much in the way of symptoms here. Sore boobs, pimply face and greasy hair mostly! Yuk  I definitely don't have morning sickness (so no smart baby here either, ha ha!!). I feel like I occasionally have a 1 second twinge of sick feeling, then it goes and I don't know if I've imagined it! How about you?
Hi all :)
-
Maruschke: i was stalking you, good to see your scan went well, congrats on your little girl :)
Mich: wwhhhoo so happy for you, you must have so relieved to see that little :heartbeat: :happyforyou::stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
HPL: sounds like your numbers are increasing well
Audax: i hope the maxalon is helping you
mia: how are you going ? not too long until your scan now :)
afm: im going ok, i rang the clinic the other day to ask them for another blood test this week, they thought i was ringing because something was wrong, i felt like saying how would i know if it was at this stage !! anyway im going for a blood test tuesday and then the scan thursday, if the number tues is bad im not going to go for the scan, im scared enough as it is and i just can't bare to see bad news.
im pleased to see you all feeling so positive, im hoping some of it rubs off on me !

Congratulations to all you mummies. Wishing you all a smooth, trouble free pg.
Just stepping in to say I got a BFP this morning. Very, very early days yet and not getting excited yet.
My first thought was 'here we go again, how long before I lose this one?' But I will try to be positive and just enjoy the ride, no matter how short (but hopefully at least 8 more months).
OMG! Im pg again!!!
-
DG!!! So so so happy for you hun. Sending all the sticky vibes I can muster .

Hi DG! Welcomes!
Mich that's great news. Even if it is behind, to have a heartbeat at that size is awsm.

D check out chick just laughed n said she had d same thing.
Quick q, anyone know a good anti stretch mark cream i can get?? I hav sme alrdy from when i was little (i was never fat but just developed them for no reason) but dnt want to get more any suggestions welcome
-
People are starting to guess. Arghhhh! How do I not tell? Two friends in the last three days have come straight out and said "Are you pregnant?" How do they know? HOW? What do I answer to that question?
Mia - I used Gaia Belly Butter. I got no stretch marks until I was 41 weeks and 2 days, I forgot to put it on that day and one appeared by 5pm. DD was born 2 days later, and it faded, but yeah, highly recommend it.
HPL - Hope the Wally for your scan is not too arduous
chepie - Oh hai Belly Buddy!
-
Thanks Audax :) Appreciate it, will definately get that one sounds good.
AFM - still plodding along LOL no REAL big symptoms just sore bb's on occassion in the morning and more hunger then usual.
Apart from that nothing to report, no maroon CM  that doesnt happen again as it happened last time when I had my m/c
Sending you all sticky dust :loveshower:
-
Hi everyone.
HPL - I have to admit, I had a little giggle about the auto-correct.
Audax - Its a tough one when people ask and you're not ready to tell.
Chepie - sorry to hear your so sick. I hope it settles down soon.
AFM - Well the bloating has well and truly set in, I look about 3 mths pg. I suppose thats normal for pg no 7, lol.
-
Hi lovely ladies
I find that I don't post in here very often so my apologies for barging in but DG just saw you post in here, so so so happy for your darl. Sending the stickiest of sticky vibes that you're going to get really fat and uncomfortable in the coming months and then spend the next year sleep deprived with a beautiful baby in your arms :)
Congrats to all of you other ladies as well. May your journeys be boring and uneventful. PAL is tough. I'll try pop in more often. We all need each others support.
Big hugs!

AFM- nothing much to report, I think I ate too much and now I feel a little queasy! LOL
Ironic cos in about 2 hours I'll feel starving again and the roller coaster continues LMAO But I love it.
Cant wait till Monday!

Minnie - I am so extremely sorry to read this. :crying: This is so unfair.

Look after yourself really well :(
-
thanks everyone, i can't believe this has happened at the same stage for the 3rd time, we went to ivf in the hope to eliminate this problem but it obviously hasn't made any difference :-(
-
Oh Minnie.... All I want to do is give you a massive hug and kick the universes butt!!! We all know how difficult this time can be please take care xx
-
Minnie - Im sorry IVF didnt make a difference. Its awful when you think youve solved the problem and yet you still go and m/c anyway. I hope you are coping ok.
-
Why do these things have to happen :dunno: :shakehead: I send minnie a big
AFM - just waiting for Monday and my first u/s, I'm scared but hoping all is ok...
