Ah Mia - Congrats on 10 weeks
I hear you! I've never had many symptoms but am starting to feel less tired and have more energy this week - which is great but of course, worries me too I've read things about starting to feel better when the placenta starts taking over hormone production, which should be around now. So let's go with that!!!
When is your next scan? Is it at 12 weeks? I have one next Thursday, even that feels like ages!
Yas- thanks for the beautiful story. It gives us hope.
DG - glad to hear you're feeling a little more relaxed
I hope everyone else is doing great!
Mia, Its a worrying time isnt it. Im equally as worried but I have plenty of symptoms, but from experience, I know it wont make a difference to whether I m/c this one or not.
Sickness can come and go, especially around 10 weeks, you may find it all comes back this afternoon or you may be one of the many (oh so lucky) people find their m/s reduces or stops at this time. Just try to remember you have heard the h/b and for most people that means all will be perfectly fine. Can you get another scan to put your mind at ease?
Mich - Its funny when you have M/S you wish it to go away but somehow its comforting. I'm just taking what you ladies said in and that it is probably starting to wein now that I've hit the 10 wks mark My next scan is not until the 9th of May so its awhile away, doubt I could get a scan in until then cos I work every day and its a 1 1/2 hour commute home so I never make it ontime for anything to be open! ARGH! this little one is giving me a little break from M/S
DG - yeh seeing the little h/beat was awesome wish I had some machine at home that could show me that all the time LOL I'd be attached to it 24/7 LOL
Thanks again ladies you always put my mind at ease
Woohoo Mia! Hey, are we Belly Buddies now? I think so! That's you, me, chepie and HPL all due in November!
My m/s has eased right off I have actually managed to get all my chores done today! Woohoo! For a while that was just worrying me, as my m/s eased off at 10-11 weeks in my first pregnancy too, but I *think* I can feel movement, crazy as that seems, and so I feel a little reassured by it. But time until the scan is certainly dragging! Have to go and get the BT tomorrow.
WOW Audax you can feel movement?! Thats wonderful Its awesome to have a few of us here due around the same time, it will be great to continue this journey with you all. Its SO exciting
MrsS - that was my due date last pregnancy! Well, one of them - we ended up using an earlier date, which was a bumer as I went waaaaaaay after that! Christmas baby and this year we'll have another one!
On my phone so sorry if I have forgotten anyone....
On the Ms side my gosh I was so terrible sick for about three Weeks ... now though barely nothing and it freaked me out too i'm only around 8 Weeks and with my pregnancies I have never been lucky enough to have it ease off, but I too think think I can feel movement as well but will wait until my scan tomorrow!!!!!!
I do love that there are a few of us in the Nov due dates I still think I'll go earlier than 27th..... I think i'm a fast baker as DD was born at 37w4days and the doctors thought she was overdue and she was very dry and starting to peel...
Trying to remember what else was said, sorry I can't remember.....
Belly rubs to all, positive thoughts ladies, today we are all pregnant and that's fantastic!!!!
Audax- Thats so great you can feel baby moving and that your m/s has dropped off. Good luck for your scan on Monday!!!
Hope - Goodluck for your scan tomorrow. I think 8 weeks is a bit early for feeling movement, are you sure you are only 8 weeks? I guess you will find out tomorrow!
AFM - Im due 2nd December, so I could easily join you all in November if this bub decides to come early (just hoping I make it that far).
DG - I have done som research on fetal movements in twins and there has been evidence to suggest that movements can be felt earlier in 2nd onward pregnancies... so that could be it... but it is also possible that I had an implantation bleed aposed to AF back in Jan... but we will see....
AFM - rang a local U/Sound place and got an appointment after work (just got back), all good baby measuring 10 wks which is what I am and little heartbeat going well. We noticed its head and little stubby hands. It even moved! So sweet, now I can relax and have a good weekend!
Have a great weekend ladies!!
Wow, HPL, my DD was born at nearly 42 weeks, and no peeling. The placenta looked like a shiny pink handbag, so I am definitely a slow cooker! You're more of a pressure cooker. DD was huge, don't know if she was just busy laying down fat in those extra two weeks, I certainly was!
Twins scares the bejeezus outta me. Not because of having twins, they're awesome (today is the 7th! birthday of twin boys I used to nanny as little babies) but because of the complications. Also because the symptoms are so similar to a molar, in fact, with my first pregnancy my GP thought it was twins when I was 11 weeks. But no sign this time.
I am so doubtful about early movements, everything I've read says it's not possible, but it doesn't feel like anything else I've ever experienced. Except... fetal movement. I felt it pretty early with DD (15 weeks) so, yeah, I dunno if it's that or something else.
I totally forgot to get my BT today. The day just got crazy on me, and I totally forgot. Monday! Last possible day I can do it, which means I have to go to the place near swimming lessons. I went for some of my early BTs last time (weekly betas last preg) and they are really rude and mean and they made me cry and collapsed my veins. I don't wanna go there!!!!
