Thanks chick xx
Fantastic news Joeve!! Yippeeeeee :)
great news hun x Any explaination on the bleed? Besides the fact that it is trendy to bleed in pregnancy around here??
Thanks Mich
Saffy no explanation. I actually had more this Morning again just a wipe worth and as soon as I got up to pee. She even did an internal scan to double check and said she couldn't see anything. She kept asking did I have any pain when peeing thinking it could be uti related but I have no other symptoms of that.
Hi all, hope everyone is well, I Havnt been in much, of finding it hard....I wish I could go back to the innocence of
That first pregnancy when i was ignorant of all the things that can go wrong :/
Joeve - I had the same thing happen at week 15 so I TOTALLY understand. I'm SO happy for you :leap: that the nuchal test went well and all is looking good for the little one. I dont know why these unexplained things happen, its very stressful but happy that its all working out.
Mich - OMG thats hilarious, I was thinking in getting another "smaller" pillow but I think after your post I might just keep trying with the massive one LOL We ARE very insync, imagine the two little girls are born on the same day! Let us know how you go on Monday ;)
Saffy - have fun on hols you lucky lady! Dont worry its sometimes hard to keep up with all the names, I knew you meant me
AFM- just at work BORING, a little sad as some stretch marks are starting to appear. Have been using the Gaia belly butter constantly but doesnt seem to stop them :( Any suggestions from any of you who have experienced this and found something that works I'm all ears. I have this issue re these marks since I was very little so I'm not suprised they appeared but I just didnt want them all over my belly, I'm hoping they stop creeping up!
I'm spotting :(
Oh jlk, I'm sorry! It's so scary!! Have you had spotting with your other pregs?
I really hope it's innocent, most of us on here have had spotting so we understand the fear :(
Can you get a scan on Monday? Hugs.
Hugs babe, I am actually shocked by how many people have bleeding in some form. I honestly thought it was the exception but it appears its not, I think 75% of the Feb belly buddies group I am in have had some.
Put your feet up and stay positive. I know its hard I have had it twice this week x
I'm curled up in bed.... It seems to have stopped now, just a little brown when I wipe and the cramping has gone(maybe thanks to panadol) the only other bleeding I've had In pregnancy didn't end well :(
jlk i have everything crossed for you that this will pass and everything will be just fine.
I hope everyone is doing really well, i popped in here a while ago when i first found out i was pregnant. I am feeling so different about this pregnancy, now that the morning sickness has gone (and it was really bad) some days i just forget that i am. I dont know if its because im too scared to be excited or if its because im doing this as a single mum at 39 but im just not feeling what i want to feel...for the first 12 weeks i woke up everyday expecting something to go wrong...but all the scans, bloods ext have been very positive. I have a home doppler which has given me reasurrance and confidence, but i just feel shut off and disconnected...not depressed though, just not excited..... i hope this goes away soon, it seems everyone around me is more excited than me. And i want to jump up and down and be happy..
Scan at 12pm
Bub is gone
So sorry to hear jlk.
I hope you are ok xx
Hugs I am so sorry :(
Double post.
jlk  I'm SO sorry love
So so sorry jlk. Life is unfair, look after yourself...
I had this exact situation last year. I had a MC at about 9 weeks when pregnant with no.4 - got pregnant straight away afterwards without any period in between. DC4 will be 1 next week! I was also pretty worried until I had a 12 week scan, which turned out to be fine, and I think I started to settle down a bit after that! I have never had any other MC, and am now 26 weeks with an unplanned DC5 - so I think that these things just happen sometimes, not for any particular reason. I did read that the only reason the medical people don't like you to get pregnant straight away after MC is that it is harder to date? It certainly never affected me. Good luck and fingers crossed everything will turn out ok with this pregnancy.
hi lovely ladies :heartbeat:
i'm a newbie here.. recently we had a m/c. was our first baby. we m/c'd at 5 weeks :(.
just curious.. some of you ladies might have an answer to this.. fiance and i are really keen to start TTC ASAP.. i'm on folic acid and blackmores conceive well gold. any recommendations on when we should start? straight away? after my first period? months?
i'm so so sorry for your loss jlk... huge 's to you hun..
xxx baby dust to all
Hi Mummy&Daddy2Be
So sorry about your loss :( After my m/c's which were 9 and 7 weeks my gynae said we could start trying after my first normal period. He seemed to think there was a slighty increased risk of m/c if you get preg straight away. However, there are many women who have and have had no problems and 5 weeks is fairly early - so it's up to you. You don't need to wait any longer than your first normal period though - unless for emotional reasons! I hope that helps and hopefully we'll see you back here really soon with a BFP :)
Mummy&daddy hugs it's so hard. There is ttc after miscarriage forum the girls are awesome and I found lots of comfort support and advice in there. Goodluck and hope you get your bfp soon x
How's everyone going?
I'm 19 weeks tomorrow :)
Had a bit of a cold and feel crapola and have been feeling pretty irritated over the last couple of days. My poor family!
Belly is quite large and I'm starting to feel sore and uncomfortable. I was huge by the end with jemma so hate to think how big my belly will be with this one.
We've got a boys name now and three girls names. DP can choose cos I like them all. Just need to order my pram and capsule and I'm done. Still got everything from last time. Bit sad I don't need to do much shopping - its half the fun!
Yay Rach 19 weeks already!!! Too funny how fast it's going for you x
Ha ha I an just not catching you it's all slow motion here!
hi girls, I am back from my relaxing holiday away in Hamilton Island, hard to come back home and to work.
jlk- sorry for your loss hun xx
mummyanddaddy2be-I would just start straight away, it is torture wasting a month
Hope everyone else is trucking along well.
I had a bit of a crisis of confidence again while away, I had been feeling very slight movement from 15-16 wks, then it all went away, so when we were on hols, I felt nothing. Because I had no doppler got a bit panicked as the week went on and nothing, but of course everything is fine and as soon as we got home i have been feeling a bit of movement again ( also checked with doppler last night at work :)). Can't wait until movements are obvious but then i will find something else to panic about no doubt.
Can't believe I am almost halfway- I am still in denial and have nothing organised, not even mat leave and i want to finish soon, so I need to get my bum into gear.
Welcome back Saffy! Congrats on being almost half way, so thrilled for you :) Maybe you can let yourself buy something baby related when you hit 20 weeks? ;) Get that maternity leave in. I just found out I have to apply 6 weeks before I want to start - so my application has to be in this Monday!! Obvious movements are so lovely to feel but just a warning - at 26 weeks I still have days where I hardly feel a thing amongst the active days. That's when the doppler comes out of the drawer - ha ha. The ob said the baby most likely just gets into a position on those days where you don't feel so much. I'm sure you're completely aware of that... but doesn't stop panickers like us from panicking!
I hope everyone else is well and no news means good news! Mia- did your ob appointment go all smoothly?
My ob appointment last week went well. Baby is still 10 days ahead in size and looking good. I've now gained 13 kg though. Help - how do I make this stop???
20 weeks!
I'm gonna high 5 myself :)
Rach woo hoo I will high 5 you!!
High five Rach!!
YAY Rach
:hello: Ladies!
AFM - 28 weeks today so officially in the 3rd trimester :loveshower: BIG is the word LOL One lady at the place I get my lunch from at work asked me when I was leaving, when I said October her eyes almost bulged out of her head. She said "I thought you were already ready to pop!" Great thanks! LOL Reflux and heartburn are a daily thing but what can you do?! Anything I eat brings it on and if I dont eat I'm starving so you cant win!
Have my 3d Ultra sound (just cos) tomorrow, both DH and I cant wait to see our little one not so little anymore!
Mich how are you doing?
I'm starting to feel like as if our baby is pushing against my skin on the inside, such a weird feeling but I'm guessing its her now running out of room more and more.
Anyways hope you are all well xxo
That's great Mia! Apart from all the heartburn etc. mines just starting now.
Rach83 - old wives tales say heartburn = hair on the baby LOL so who knows but have to keep the mylanta close by! hahahaha
AFM - went to the 3d scan today and all is good. Our little girl is measuring exactly as she should and we got some nice shots of her smiling away. She's already head down! I was suprised cos I didnt think they did that until later but apparently they do. She's very cute with big cheeks and lips. She was spreadeagled so she was definately showing us she is a little girl LMAO
Hard to say who she looks like but my mum says she looks a lot like my DH but she has my nose (thank god) LOL Not that he has a big nose but his side of the fam do so good that atleast thats my side hahaha
Anyways hope you all have a great weekend!
I had heaps of heartburn with jemma and she didn't have heaps of hair :)
It's awesome to have a great scan!
I've got a preggers avvy- woohoo!!
Hope everyone is going well xx
Loving your preggo self Saffy wanna have a bump off??? Lol
MS still here it's making me a bit down and my tummy is bruised and lumpy from clexane needles. I think I need to take some time out to think about the good stuff.
Belly rubs everyone xx
