DG - you're never a bother!! So glad you're feeling a bit better though, I hope things just keep getting better from here. Tough decision about the gender, did you find out the other times? It's totally up to you. I personally LOVED finding out. Even though I didn't mind at all either way, it just gave me such an adrenaline rush knowing and made me excited for weeks, even made me forget my negativity for a while, ha ha. I very much admire the patience of people who wait tho!!
Saffy - Ooh - I hope you don't catch a glimpse of any bits then! I guess if it happens at some stage, you could just keep it between you and DH Yay for a little belly too. I have a rather large belly now but still just look fat to people who don't know, boo hoo!!
Joeve- I'm so glad all seems to be going well
Mia - You're so good with the panadol, I have to take it all the time for my headaches. Glad you're all calm. I'm a lot calmer too but still haven't bought a single baby item. I think I have a mental block about it! I probably don't need to though with the amount my mum has bought already, ha ha.
I'm seeing the ob this afternoon. I've made it over 4 weeks between visits - record!! My heart did it's crazy palpitation thing yesterday but it's only happened twice in 4 weeks so that's nothing to worry about apparently.
Saffy thats terrifying. Rest rest rest! Pregnancy is a freaking roller coaster, but your baby is probably chilling out in there making cute baby toes with no idea about how scared they are making you!
Stop work whenever is right for you and deep breaths in the meantime. You can do this.
Saffy!! That sounds horrifying! You poor thing. So glad the hospital looked after you though and everything is still looking good. Rest, rest, rest - forget about that pesky work thing!
Bug hugs.
Saffy- Hun that's terrible! How much fluid/blood did you lose? Are you still bleeding? Did the bleeding just start today after the incident at work or have you been continuously bleeding? Massive hugs darling- bubba is alive, the fluid around the baby is good. Breathe in and breathe out- that's my only advice.
I have been bleeding bright red blood in varying amounts since just before 6w, it's freaky, I know how it feels. I really hope you feel better after a rest and bubba keeps on keeping on. Thinking of you and sending love and comfort xxx
Mich- thanks Hun! Bunko seems to be fine ATM are you getting a big belly yet? Lots of kicks? Xx
Mia- how are you Hun? No more migraines? Are you feeling lots of kicks? Totally jealous! I love that stage of pregnancy! Xx
DG- being sick is miserable- having sevre ms would be the worst Hun feel free to come and vent! It's bloody awful what your going through xxx p.s. Are you feeling kicks? How are you going emotionally Hun? Xxx
Maruschke- omg not long now!!! How are you feeling??
Joeve- how are you going darlin? Feeling a bit more confident? X
Afm- well I'm 12 weeks today. I never really thought I'd make it to this point. Feeling frightened today, not sure why, just trying to breathe. I really wish I had a scan today, I'm so anxious. Bunko was ok last Friday, but I'm really worried something's happened in between then and now. My 12 week scan isn't until Monday which feels forever away.
Oh, I haven't had bleeding for 4 days today! I'm just hoping it's a positive sign and hope it doesn't come back!
Massive hugs everyone xx
Hi girls, just an update- had another gush at dinnertime last night but it was definately fresh blood ( which surprisingly made me happy, at least it wasn't amniotic fluid) and have been bleeding all night but it is settling and now dark red spotting. I just spoke to my obs and am going in for another scan at lunchtime ( this will be the most scanned baby in the world) and she is also halving my clexane dose in case it is causing problems. I am really happy about that as I have always been concerned my dose was too high. So hopefully everything is ok with bubs and I can relax for a bit. Rollercoaster!
Yas- I hadn't had any bleeding since 8 weeks, so it just came out of the blue. I cna't imagine how you have held it together, the constant stress.xx
Saffy- I'm so sorry you've had more bleeding It's not fair! Just to give comfort I had MASSIVE gushes equivalent to the start of AF (about 2 of these I think) and bunko is still there. They haven't found a cause for my bleeding- no SCH or anything. I've never had bleeds in a pg that's gone to term but it seems I will this time!
I will be praying for you sweetheart, and for your little bubba. I think it must be so hard to have it happen all of a sudden- at least I was already on edge expecting it itms.
It's just so unfair When I first seen you were pg I was hoping for smooth sailing pg for you- after everything you've been through to get here you definitely deserve it!!!
Good luck, big and I'll be thinking of you xxxx
thanks just had my scan, bubba good, no obvious reason for bleed so she said must be a blood vessel getting torn as everything grows and bleeding a lot cos of the blood thinners. I can handle bleeding as long as its not affecting the baby. Can this pregnancy get to full term already??
Saffy - I'm so pleased bubs is ok! Let's hope it's something tiny and insignificant causing the bleed. Looks like it since your ob confirmed everything is great. Did she say anything about it possibly being from the cervix? I hope that was the last of it. Have you still got that doppler at home for peace of mind?
Yas- 4 days with no bleeding - wohoo!! Congrats on 12 weeks. In the future you're going to be one of those ladies who can post on BB and give hope to others about how you had lots of bleeding in the first trimester and had a perfect baby anyway Yes, I have a rather large belly and feel huge- but it's really cool I've finally started feeling movement - some days I get lots, some days none - makes me nervous sometimes but I still love feeling it when it's there!
Mich- Yay for movements!!!! I promise within 4 weeks bub's will be kicking up a storm! I love it when you can feel them move around- so reassuring. Do you know whether your placenta is anterior or posteria? I so hope i am one of those ladies in the future! Never thought i would be though! xx
Saffy- How are you going lovely? Iv'e been worrying about you xxx
DG- Sweetheart hope your going ok, miss you xxx
Afm- I have a scan tomorrow at 11:15. I'm actually really nervous, can't sleep, watching shaun of the dead (love this movie but then again i am a zombie fan! ) Still haven't had anymore bleeding which is good... So scared about this scan, even though i feel like everything's ok (iv'e finally developed pg symptoms!)
Hope everyone's going well xxx
good luck for your scan Yas- it will all be fine and i will be for you anyway but you won't need it- imagine how relaxed you will feel after the scan! ( well for a few days anyway if you are like me lol). thanks for thinking of me I am fine, just spotting now but almost gone so I am happier, just taking it easy. So glad your bleeding has stopped hopefully it won't come back xx
Mich- can you believe I brought my doppler back the day before it happened so now when I need it I haven't got it!!- just assuming everything is ok, I will survive without it. I'm excited you are feeling movements but I hope I don't have to wait til 21 weeks myself!! I am hanging out now to start feeling something, every night I lie in bed and really concentrate to see if I can feel anything but nothing yet ( i know its really early, just impatient)
Joeve-I see you have morning sickness, mine started wearing off by 9 weeks nad I only had it every 3 days or so so don't panic if you start feelign normal. Is your baby due on Australia Day? Love how you are 9 weeks, are you feeling a bit more confident, I did by 9/10 weeks- only a few more weeks of first trimester left!!
Maruschke- you are 34 weeks, wow on the home stretch! Are you still planning to get induced?
Hi everyone else, hope all are well and bellys are growing xxx
