Yas - Yay for no more bleeding since Friday night.

I had my Morph scan last week and it seems all is ok. I have to get another scan in the 3rd trimester to check the heart and kidneys, but they told me not to worry about it because everything looks pretty good. We didnt find out the gender either!

    hi girls,

DG-great news on your morph scan, I had an early morph scan yesterday and was just watching the dvd they gave, and couldn't help trying to sneak a peek even though we don't want to know!!! But I couldn't see anything anyway, I couldnt' help myself!!

Yas- glad your bleeding settled, touch wood i haven't had any further problems since 13wks. You must be so sick of being sick you poor thing.

joeve- what did your dr say about clexane?

rach- thats good news, a good checkup keeps me happy for a week at least.

afm- had my early morphology scan (due to high risk for DS), as soon as the u/s guy put the probe on and looked at its nose, he said this baby is very unlikely to have DS ( bubba must have a honker lol) soI was relaxed for therest of the scan, he looked at all markers and nothing was abnormal at all so VERY relieving, I am not stressing about it all now.I also saw some research recently that said IVF pregnancies with a fresh transfer have a high false positive rate for DS risk, something to do with the bloods, which i totally think is what happened in my case as my nuchal translucency was completely normal. Feeling some movements in the last few days which is exciting it feels like a muscle twitch in my pubic area- go bubba!

Rach, DG and Saffy - congrats on great scan results! I love coming in here and seeing lots of good news
Yas - I'm so glad the bleeding has stopped. I just can't wait for you to start having a smooth run!
Sunbeam - HI!!!! I have been and will be stalking for your news and am hoping and praying that we see you in here soon
Joeve - all smooth sailing over there for you I assume?

I'm plodding along and my heart is being much better behaved this week Thanks for your encouragement Saffy. The ob had told me it wouldn't harm the baby and there's nothing I can do anyway. I just feel so crap and like I can't get enough oxygen when it's happening that it always makes me worry! Next ob appointment is in a week and a half. I'm looking forward to seeing bubs again - it's been sooooo long. I'm not looking forward to getting on the scales at all tho!!!!!! I'd gained 10 kg by 20 weeks and have gotten dramatically bigger since then - eeeeeek!

    Hi girls, wondering
If I can join in here, I would post in the late loss & stillbirth forum
But it's very quiet in there.
I'm Jo and pregnant with bub number 8, 2 of which were born sleeping, a little girl at 19wks and a little boy at
20wks. Even though I've had a rainbow baby since then and know I can do it I'm still starting to get anxiety return
    I'm nearly 8 weeks

to all the newbies on here

to all you lovely ladies, SO sorry its been ages since I last posted.

Glad to see all of you are doing well

Mich - How are you? I have had shortness of breathe too on occassion but I got a bonus this week with indigestion and heartburn! LOL what can you do I suppose. Have bad back pain so have been waking up at 3am and not going back to sleep but thank goodness DH has been massaging and it feels a bit better. Have got that MASSIVE maternity pillow but whoever invented it forgot to realise there are other ppl in your bed cos seriously its like having 3 adults in there hahahaha poor DH is on the sidelines LOL

AFM - as per above sore back and heartburn and indigestion but really just trying to think positive and that baby must have a whole lot of hair or something (wives tale re heartburn). I still wake up at times and feel like I'm not preggo and its all been a dream but when I have to literally ROLL out of bed in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and my DH cracks up I remember quick smart hahaha
Apart from all this I have my next OB appointment next tues so that'll be nice and we get to see the baby but my OB is on hols so I'll see his midwives which are lovely. Hopefully they still do the u/sound. We have planned to do another 3d scan at the end of the month just for our own amusement and to have more chunkier pics of the baby So cant wait for that!
Had my gest diabetes test a couple of weeks ago and it came back slightly high so they sent me to do the longer 2 hours test which was horrible. I almost threw up, I dont mind the drink I think its just the fact you're getting SO much sugar (cos its double the dose of the first test) in 5 minutes that made me feel sick. Also the fact the office where I got it done (in the hospital) was SO warm so that added to it. Lucky my mum came along and saw I turned white and told the lady, she came back with a sick bag and said "sorry but if you're sick you'll have to come back and do it ALL again another day" this was GREAT since I just had 1 urine test and a blood test already and still had 2 b/t's to go! Anyways managed to hold it all in after going to the bathroom and resfreshing my face (which was the ONLY place they let me walk to). Results came in and all was "normal" thank goodness so now just business as usual.
Feeling heaps of movements and finally DH can feel them too. Gaining weight like crazy (I sympathise Mich!) Not sure what the scales will say when I go to the OB's office on tuesday probably "GET OFF!" LMAO
Anyways BIG HELLO and sticky vibes to you all xox

    Hi to the newbies also!

Mich- I have a body pillow,so I completely understand, along with a cat who takes over half the bed and DH, I get no doona and feel like I'm sleeping in an inch space. Glad GD results were ok.

I'm on a weeks holidays now-hooray-work makes my back hurt so much, it needs a break. As everything has been going ok- touch wood-I am hoping ot work for another 10 weeks or so, then retire for mat leave around 28-30 wks. Was getting some movements last week, not so much now, so did a doppler at work today before leaving, HB great, so can relax and hopefully will get a few m/ments when i'm away for reassurance. Can't believeI'm having my 20 wk U/S in a few weeks, still feels like a dream to me too.

Have a great week coming up everyone, I will be in Hamilton Island relaxing

Hi and welcome jlk - I hope you're coping through this scary time
    Hi angelfish

Mia - wow - I could have written your post exactly!! Ha ha. I wake up at 3am every day - then move to the couch. I was using a V shaped pillow but took up so much room so got one of those small foam wedges. Takes up so much less room but I don't think it will be effective when I get even bigger!
Great news on the gestational diabetes test but sorry it was such an awful experience. I'll be doing that in the next couple of weeks (the yukky 2 hour test I think!). I also have my ob appt this coming Monday - one day off yours So glad all is well with you, we're so in sync, wonder if our bubs will be born on the same day, ha ha!

Saffy - hi That was Mia - ha ha. Holidays sound delightful, I'm pleased everything seems calm with the pregnancy now - phew! I know what you mean about over-analysing movements (or lack of movements). Some days I get lots and some days barely any even at this stage - so glad I have my doppler those days.

Joeve - Where are you in relation to the chair now? Under? On? I saw your updates in the other thread and have been thinking of you - how's things now?

AFM - 4 days til ob appointment! I still have moments where I (quietly) freak out about anything and everything that could possibly be wrong with the pregnancy. I wish I didn't but hopefully the appointment Monday will put my mind at ease!

    Thanks Mich
Saffy no explanation. I actually had more this Morning again just a wipe worth and as soon as I got up to pee. She even did an internal scan to double check and said she couldn't see anything. She kept asking did I have any pain when peeing thinking it could be uti related but I have no other symptoms of that.
