How is everyone else going?
I am still practcally bed-ridden from nausea apart from work. This is the worst thing I have ever experienced. I have waited so long to have a baby and now I'm starting to question it. I hope it's just this disgusting, life ruining 24/7 feeling getting me down and not really the case :(

I've hit tired stage and look at my list of things to do each day but struggling to get the motivation now, luckily we have nearly finished the nursery and I washed all my MCNs the other day, so lots of lying on the couch watching tv here :redface: until Dh gets home from work of course :lol:

Tasha- :hug: When your LTTTC I think we convince ourselves that after we finally get that BFP everything in life will be perfect and we'll exist in a constant state of bliss. Then it finally happens and reality hits that we are still human, hormones during pg are all over the place & the fact that pregnancy is generally a very uncomfortable physical experience.
You are completely normal hun. Big :hug: and I hope you are feeling better xxx
Saffy- I'm jealous ;) You enjoy that couch, pregnancy is a free pass to relax as much as you need :) yeah, I can't believe I'm still bleeding either- it sucks.
Afm- I had a horrifying experience with a massive brown snake yesterday :/ I'm still crying about it (I have a severe phobia of snakes...
On the baby front I'm 32w today!! I'm getting so uncomfy and looking forward to baby coming out. I haven't picked a name yet....
We only picked our names on the weekend, but luckily we agreed easily ( first time for everything) the only spanner in the works will be if my sister goes against every person telling her she is having a boy and has a girl cos I think she has the same girls name as me-I will be shattered if this happens!!!!

No names here I have lost interest in having conversations with my DH about it...... We are getting no where on the boy name front! We have 2 maybe girls names.

But, yesterday I felt a little better and by about 6pm I felt really good. So good DH and I went for a bike ride with the dogs! I felt like I had my soul back! I even ate a whole small cheeseburger meal (not the best choice, but hey it was something) Today I'm still ok, little bit of nausea, but generally a lot better. I really hope this is me getting a break and not something to worry about....

I had a big growth spurt this week and feel massive now, almost 34 weeks which is just too real! I want to stay peregnant forever!

yeah 36 wks but I forgot to take it yesterday so I am obviously mentally off it already lol
I am finding it hard to find places to jab myself. I am totally over it!

Just a quick one as am at work. I have my 7 weeks scan today at 4pm. I think I am 7w+5 today. I am anxious as always with a scan but this is the first one since my last one with the missed m/c.
I have constant nausea, arrived bang on 7 weeks, which I didn't have with the last one and have vomited a couple of times (including yesterday) so DH keeps reasuring me its all good.
Please, please let it be all good :pray: I dont think I can handle it if its not.

Ob appointment this morning and bubs is now traverse which is good as it's been head up feet firmly planted near cervix up til now. I am up to 3.7kgs of weight gain but fundal measurement is 6 weeks ahead so belly is huge!

Joeve - Oh my god, only 3.7kgs gain. I think I have done that already. I am happy that bubs is doing what its supposed to be doing.
No one is here at the office this afternoon, I wonder if I could just doze off for 20 winks......yawn...

I am having the worst day- I stupidly fell onto my coccyx and now it hurts so much to sit or move :wall:,my baby which was cephalic up until the weekend is now TRANSVERSE which is very annoying, my obs wasn't overly happy about it either, have to try and get into acupuncture asap and the pharmacy gave me the wrong clexane so I have to go back and swap it, plus my car rego arrived in the mail and we have no money at all, let alone $647 for car rego- I hate today!!

Saffy I am all belly and boobs. I have been consistently ahead on fundal measurements but bubs and fluid is normal. I just have a fat belly!

The scan went really well. We have one bub on board. I think I am 7w+5 and bub measures 8wks today. Heart beat of 166bpm. I feel so relieved and a little bit excited. I wish I had a scan machine at home to constantly hook myself up lol. I love to see the heart beating away.
We booked the 12 week scan Friday before Xmas and have decided that as long as my symptoms continue on then I wont bother with weekly bt or booking another scan for 2 weeks time. I just want to be left alone for a while.
Thanks for all your support girls, its meant a lot to me. I just may think about joining the July BB group :)

i think i am ready to pop in here... had my second beta today, hcg 833 at 17dpo (up from 198 at 14dpo)... so things are looking good so far. 6 week scan will be around 10 dec, so that is the next hurdle. i havent been beyond that point before, so seems quite unreal to me that it is a possibility atm. trying not to stress though bc i have good hcg numbers, some sore boobs now, peeing a lot, hungry - and not to mention a certified chromosomally normal hatching blast on board... but after nearly 6 years ttc (2 yrs of ivf) i cant help my default setting and mentally preparing myself for a possible fall at the scan. its where it all fell down the last 2 times. i know i will be a mess on the day, but i am still hopeful it will be bc i see a heartbeat.

Welcome Andie. I have hidden in here under Joeves chair for the last month. Its a lovely place to hide :) I too know how you feel. I have had a 7 week scan before and seen a heart beat only to go to another scan 3 weeks later only for bad news.
However, like you said your emby is good quality and your numbers are excellent. So only positive vibes from now on. You and me both :) xxx

AFM, well I'm 8+1 (is that how you do it?) and booked in with an OB in 3 weeks time and then a 12 week scan on Dec 27th. My morning sickness has eased (thank goodness!!) But it's still there. I can handle nausea most of the day, but not all day! Oh and now I have heartburn at night :lol:
Tasha once you get past 20 weeks they get a tape measure and feel around the tummy area, from top of pubic bone to where they feel from the outside, your uterus is sitting. Bits called fundal measurement. You should be almost 1 week per centermetre, so I should be 29cm but I am 35cm :)
Hope that makes sense. I am going for a bubs measurement scan next week just to double check bub measurement and fluid.

Can I jump in here and be ridiculously neurotic? Because I do not know anyone else that might be able to relate to this kind of crazy!
I had a rather big bleed last week and on scanning discovered bubs was doing well and I have a small haematoma (sp??). Went for a follow up scan today and bubs had visibly grown (chubby little arms and legs!!) and was measuring to dates, ultrasound guy said he saw heartbeat at 178, but i couldn't see it myself!! usually I spot the flicker right away and this time I thought I caught it for maybe a second when he pointed it out, but then couldn't see anything again!!:o I know hoe ridiculous this sounds, he does this all day every day so obviously I trust his judgement better than my own dodgy eyes but it just scared me that it looked so still. I wish I had seen it for myself!
has anyone not been able to see a HB on the scan but been told there was one there? Or has anyone been told there was one where there wasn't? Does anyone want to slap me to shake the silly out?:redface: I thought another scan would bring me relief but it just didn't!
Gosh Maybe thats a bit weird that you couldn't see the heart beat. And I think its crap that he didn't hold it long enough for you to see it. But is must have been on it long enough to get a count. My guy holds it on for a while then it scrolls across the screen and he then measures the scrolls if that makes sense. I am sure it will be all good.
AFM - I am having freak out moment. It seems like my ms is not really showing itself this morning. I was nauseaus through the night and then this morning while getting ready, but now when it ramps up around 9.30am its not really come on. My bb are still sore. Last time bubs passed a few days after the scan and now I am freaking out as I had a scan with this one on Monday. I dont know whether its any value getting another HCG test? My GP suggested getting one each week, but I have read that HCG starts to decrease from 9 weeks onwards so I dont want to make myself more anxious by it dropping. I so wish I could have another scan. I am 8w+2.
He did the scrolly thing and I could see the waves and the count averaging out, I just couldn't see the flicker on bub like I usually can. He asked me to hold my breath at one point, and he took it a couple of times, but it just keeps nagging away at me how still bubs looked and how I couldn't see it myself. I'm sure I'm being stupid, it would have to be ultrasound 101, view heartbeat, I'm just freaking out as always.
As for the morning sickness, I can promise you that mine is not predictable. Every now and again I have a 'good' day and worry, and then on a day like today I haven't been able to keep anything down all day. I'm assuming the hormones are always fluctuating? I was also under the impression that once you have seen the scan and HB that the scans are a better indicator than HCG levels at this stage? I was supposed to go for repeats the other day but after a successful scan they said it wasn't necessary, unless they were checking your progesterone or something else specific.

It always makes me a bit panicky as my symptoms last time never really took off and then stopped 2 weeks before my second scan and they said bubs had passed just over 2 weeks since my first scan. As for the BT its just a HCG test, but I like you, think that scans are the only reliable way to check. I spoke to DH at lunch about it. I hate to freak him out about it as he already trying not to bond with this one. He looked a bit shell shocked when I said about it, so hopefully its just the hormones fluctuating and nothing else.
As for the HB if the waves were there its all good. I know how hard it is with every step and if something is just a little bit off it can really freak us out. And I thought getting pg was hard enough. I find staying pg waaaayyyyy harder. Its so up and down, so very emotional. Is your next scan your 12 week one?
Hi VIC, I am just past 14 weeks now and my symptoms did certainly come and go. If nausea went, sore boobs would start and vice versa. I would say have you got any symptoms still?? Especially triedness?? if yes, just try and relax and see what tomorrow brings. These first few weeks really are so difficult, and I wish you well. If you really can't cope with the stress go back to the Dr and try and get another scan for peace of mind.
