Lyra! Welcome! I'm so excited to see you here! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy! I think this worry won't go away till we've got our healthy little bubbies in our arms. I'm very hopeful this pregnancy will go to plan as it's so different from our first with the mm/c. My ob was really happy when he saw it with 8 weeks 2 days. I do worry sometimes as besides the mood swings, the tiredness and the occasional feeling yuck, and mega sensitive nipples, I don't have many other symptoms. At the moment we're counting down to our 12 week scan, can't wait to see bub again.

VV - I'm sorry to hear about the chucking up and all day nausea. Hoping you feel better soon! Wish "one born every minute" was still on tv. I watched some episodes on SBS on demand, but the last one was last week I wasn't allowed to watch it when we were TTC as it upset me too much, and now I can finally watch it and prepare myself, it's no longer on tv .

Melster - Boo for gastro in the house Hope it passes soon! I'm sorry you're not enjoying this pregnancy. Hopefully you'll feel better soon and will be able to embrace the pregnancy and enjoy it too!

Greenslw - Am with you on the love been PG! I feel much better when I'm PG than when I have to deal with hormone levels going up and down through a AF cycle! Even if I have my off days, overall it's a lovely feeling! Can't wait to start feel bub moving around!

Calluna - Yay for feeling bub moving! I can't wait till I can feel my little one.

Damprye - How's the headache / migraine today? Yay for putting deposit down for minivan! How exciting! Hopefully you'll be able to sell your car soon!

AFM Had a good day yesterday. Had been having naughty cravings for a couple of days, ate loads of sugary stuff, but yesterday back to being healthy and enjoyed a whole avocado and some cherry tomatoes to go with it! Yummy! Have not been feeling very pregnant, besides the tiredness, sore boobs, and even the bloated belly has gone away a bit. Hope bubby will pop soon, as I can't wait to wear my maternity clothing Have been wearing maternity jeans every once in a while and if I wear my normal jeans I have to have the button undone :$ Still fit in my work clothes at the moment! Had my long hair cut pretty short, just to distract people from other parts of my body looking different It worked with my colleagues We set up the cot yesterday, as we're planning on sharing the big news with brother and sister in law and grandpa on Saturday, which is my hubbies Birthday. Might share it via skype with my family overseas as well that day! Am so excited! We'll be 10 weeks then!

Mel have you spoken to the GP re nausea? Hope it settles by 12 weeks.

Me4 love the logic of hair distraction I think that would do the trick, top button open for me too.
Good luck telling the family great to share do they know you are ttc?

Been sick all day again feels like hormones are going crazy, feel starring then full really quick. Patches are reacting with my skin feels like a cross of sunburn and bee sting grrrr. Only 3.5 weeks to go. Also booked a massage for post 12 weeks I usually do them monthly been missing it big time.

Argh, what did I say yesterday?! I love being pregnant :$ Haha, I jinxed myself big time. Have been feeling quite AF like crampy since yesterday morning. I suppose it could be multiple things, constipation?!, uterus stretching?! I don't know. I'm stressing out a tad bit. I'm not going to work today, will just take it easy. Have been to the loo this morning, so hopefully that was what's bothering it (sorry if TMI ).

Damprye - am a bit nervous about telling people, what if things will go wrong again?! On the one hand I want to wait till 12 week scan, but just want to share it too! I bet your mum was excited about hearing the heartbeat! I'm considering buying a doppler, are they easy to use?

Greenslw - my family overseas didn't really know that we are TTC, I did tell my parents about mm/c last year, my sister in law already knows that I'm pregnant. Here my partner's family knew about our mm/c last year and know we've been TTC for a long time. I think it will be a bit of a surprise though that we will be 10 weeks when we tell them Yay for only 3.5 weeks on patches! I'm counting down to Saturday, then only every 2nd day a pessary Can't wait.

I have only told people I know will support me through another m/c. I have had people talk behind my back before, apparently with DS2, I was only faking a pregnancy for attention. Not my fault I'd had 2 m/c before having him and what sort of attention would it bring? Certainly not that of my then partner (even though he was wanting a baby until I fell pg) and I hate drama. Wouldn't bring good attention either as I'm not married and then became single and sick. DS2's pregnancy brought a lot of trouble, not good, although I would do it all again as I love him to pieces. That's my family for ya though. My Mum, sister and Grandfather know out of my family (Im close to my grandfather). Only about 5 irl friends know about my last m/c. In general, youre pretty safe telling at 10weeks as chances of m/c have already declined, just not as much as 12weeks. I had a dream last night that I had my baby (boy in the dream I think) and then I was debating the nextday as to wwhether or not I should even FB announce it then or just let people wait till they bump into us or something lol.

Me4- I had cramping around the same time. It lasted for a week or so on and off but all seems fine still.

Me4 i hope some rest sorts it all out and you're back to loving pg so how long do you half the dose for pessaries? My clinic said just stop.

Damprye that's awful who needs enemies. when could you first hear babies hb?

Cheshire I'm glad you're on the mend

Finally got a sympathetic hug from DF when he saw my red itchy legs, my own fault I usually just keep on without complaining I seem to have afternoon sickness 2-6 pm my sense of smell is so fine tuned animal food is not good at the supermarket everyone I passed had cat or dog food almost ran out. Lazy weekend ahoy

Greenslw- I heard bub at exactly 12weeks for sure And I'm fat but I done it with a full bladder and was applying decent pressure. Also helps having a good doppler ;-)

Cheshire- Glad you are doing better

Damprye - How sad those people that thought you were faking a pregnancy... Who would do that?! Love your dream - taking you to birth and still wondering if you'd facebook announce it... I'd unfriend anyone that gives you negative remarks. They don't deserve to be called friends?!

Greenslw - I was told to wean off my medication, I have to start taking pessaries every 2nd day as of tomorrow (so at 10 weeks) and stop them at 12 weeks. Metformin I have to wean off as well, having 3 tablets a day, have to take 2 for a week and then only one and then stop them. They weren't quite clear when to start weaning of these, but they said to stop at 12 weeks, so I suppose I'll start weaning off them as of tomorrow too.

Calluna - can you remember if these pains were possibly constipation related?

Cheshire - glad to hear you're still around and feeling better!

Melster and VV and Lyra, and anyone else I missed, how are you girls doing?

AFM - Feeling so much better today. Did lots of sleeping yesterday, 2.5 hours in bed yesterday morning and another hour in the arvo. This morning I've already been in bed for 2 hours extra as well! I only managed to walk the dog and then collapsed into bed. My bed is too comfortable My cramps are gone, they only stayed with me till late arvo yesterday. I think I was possibly constipated because I had this protein drink for 2 days in a row, it has added zinc in it. My first pregnancy I drank this daily and was hugely constipated :$ If I'd known it was this drink I would have stopped it straight away. At the time I thought it was a combination of pregnancy and pregnancy vitamins I was taking. Hopefully my bowel will be back to its usual self soon! Have a happy easter everyone!

I'm not sure. It's possible but I haven't really been paying that much attention to my poop. I was constipated for week ish but couldnt tell you when that was.

What do you guys think of this; tell me why do so many mothers in the Kwinana marketplace have to carry there new born and young baby"s through the shopping center don't they know that if there is something spilt on the floor and they slip up holding them they could drop them out off there hands and kill them come on mums put them in a pram please.

That was posted on the wall of my local shop

I think that person is a moron. Better not carry your baby around at home, or cross a road - pram or not, or put them in a car seat, or let them play outside, or...
