Me4 3L of water :clap: champion. DS first movements were like butterflies. This time more like a wet fish. Lol I'm sure it's coming soon. Did you enjoy your day off?

ATM snot! Can't believe how much my nose is running this time round not hay fever or a cold and its driving me nuts. Rained all day today and need some more indoor activities up my sleeve for DS. Thank goodness bubs will be arriving in warmer weather DS can play outside.

Being paranoid or not. It's just so different after having a miscarriage.. And I read way to many stories .... And this pregnancy is so different. I keep thinking I feel bubbles but I'm just not sure.... I'm getting headaches .. My boobs are still large and a bit sore ...

I think you are probably ok Melster, but there is no harm in checking. You arent paranoid. You are pregnant after loss, its a whole different game. Do what you have to to reassure yourself, if others cant understand that (including your OB) then that is thier problem.

They think I am getting an upper respitory infection.

Last night when I was cooking dinner I pretty much fainted and couldn't shake it, due to my condition I knew I needed to go to hospital to be checked. My blood pressure was very low. They gave me chest X-ray because breathing was an effort.

"My condition" - I had a disease called cushings disease caused by a tumor (very large) on my pituitary gland, the tumor produced a hormone called ACTH, a lot of it, it tells your adrenal glands (in your lower abdomen area kinda near kidneys) to make a steroid called cortisol. My body was making too much, it stopped my body from metabolising fat, it stopped my other hormones working, gave me high blood pressure and muscle weakness, the excess weight is all upper body and face (a big red round moon face)
So they cured me by removing the tumor, the tumor was sooooo big they couldn't save my pituitary gland, so now I take medication to make my hormones work. (And needles to have babies) (and can't give birth naturally or give my baby breast milk)
So now my adrenal glands don't work. You need them to work when you are sick or injured like the "fight or flight" hormone. I don't have that. Without my meds I will die in 24 hours. So when I'm sick I double my meds. And when I feel flat and low like last night I treat it seriously (as did hospital which was refreshing)

Anyway thanks for your concerns and thoughts it was scary still kinda is not knowing why I reacted so quickly and low to a infection (we think)

A beautiful understanding doc just did the best he could doing an ultrasound to show me bubs heartbeat after I told him my 14 week fears!! What a sweetheart.
I told him I could wait til my OB appointment but seeing the heartbeat and bub moving really helped, as I would have feared this strange reaction by my body (that got top marks from hormone doc last week) was something to do with the baby.

Wow Duchess that must be awful to live with. Im glad you got understanding medical staff in the hospital. It makes any experience so much more managable. :hug: Hope the infection clears quickly and you are feeling well again soon.

ATM lots of stretching pains today and some back pain think I better get my act together and start some yoga with the bleeding I haven't done much excersise this pg last time gym till 32 weeks.

Greenslw -my Aunty who is experienced yoga instructor said not to start til 18-20 weeks, I had never heard that before but she says its much safer. I want to so more walking then yoga to strengthen core and give me some time out :)

Had an early night last night to make up for the crappy one night before and today I'm off to OB appointment.

Hmmm Duchess, can you clarify with her if she means antenatal yoga? Or just general yoga? I've been doing yoga for the last 4 weeks... And I'm not the only one under 18 weeks there. It's pretty easy going, loads of relaxation and breathing exercises...

Just a quick one now - need to walk the dog, go grocery shopping, then need to get ready to go to acupuncture, my first time in 3 weeks! I can't wait! And tonight another yoga session, yay! Hope you girls have a good day!

I have an ob appointment tomorrow...(trying not to be scared because this is just getting overwhelming being so negative) oh and i had the WORST dream last night.....TERRIBLE.......i was at the drs and got on the bed and was bleeding everywhere and i lost the baby......arrrrgggggg.....wish my mind would stop.............hopefully ill hear heart beat tomorrow and i will relax for my gender scan on Saturday....IM SOOOOOO nervous about it..cant stop thinking about it..maybe it will feel more real and i can pick names and clothes etc...i actually feel like i have had a bot of MS today...felt queezy this morning.....

Cheshire....i feel really bad about not enjoying this pregnancy and being so stressed and anxious about it....especially since its my last. i feel disconnected at times....havent thought of a name..havent bought clothes...the other pregnancies i had my head in books..already picked names and clothes etc....

Oh Melstar I hope your OB appointment is fantastic and helps you stop having such scary dreams!! Tell your OB your fears it really helps them know how to approach you.

Greenslw I have sent my Aunty a text and will let you know, if antenatal is different i will start yoga this week!! I know I did it earlier with DD1 too

I've bought one little outfit for bub and have to start names early as hubby (he hates the term DH) takes forever to agree!! But I'm pretty set in my mind what I love.

My OB appointment was interesting. I wasn't surprised he couldn't get a heartbeat on Doppler at 13+6 but even though I said I saw it yesterday at hospital he did a quick ultrasound and I saw my beautiful bubba again and was delighted to see the kid was moving smoothly, until now everytime I've seen bub its had the most jerky movements a little unsettling.
He also said he thought my low low blood pressure and problems the other night were all pregnancy related... Which worries me a tiny bit that they will be repeated but one day at a time.
The intetesting bit was as soon as I hopped on the bed Miss 2 freaked out, noooo nooooo pointed to the chair then omg total meltdown when OB touched me!!! Quite traumatic! Next appointment is daycare day ;)

Duchess daycare sounds good you don't need added stress also so happy your app went well my GP won't even try Doppler till 16 weeks

Me4 busy you I will book in for yoga it's a Friday night so see how I go. I'm normally pretty pooped by the end of the week but I thi k it's an important thing to do.

Me my bump is now above my pelvis I guess that's what all the pain was yesterday. Think this means I need to pick a tell work date soon. One of my bosses is leaving and made some wise cracks about a another pg lady the other day so NOT telling her. She leaves Tuesday. Some women, you'd think they'd be better with pg but men seam to be in my experience not sure why. Maybe it's the old "I never got paid when I was pg!" Different times ppl. Mini vent ;)

Greenslw- it's like anti baby bonus people saying "we never got money for our kids" life cost a quarter of the price back then too!!

I had a lovely boy at Coles say he hopes I have my baby before they lower the baby bonus :) (frazzled mum after somehow taking almost 2 hrs to do my shopping with the girls) (I must look like I need it)
