3am and I'm awake worrying about my scan
I know what will be will be but I can't help it
We are bringing miss 6 so I think I'm worried she will be there for bad news like last time but last time doc focused on live twin then sent her out and confirmed what we both knew we could see about little twin, most discreet he ever was I think.

Greenslw I hope you do still get even consideration it sounds like a good job you have. Why is big boss anti pregnancy?

I have to take one of my medications early this morning 5am so it doesn't mess with the scan so i better attempt sleep again :/

Heartbeat!!!!!!!! Is 157bpm ok?(or thereabouts) (why not just know for sure if I am paying ??)
Bub was moving and seemed pretty placid and chilled out... I would have preferred more movements but it was moving so I think that's the main thing...

So many stuff ups though
The scan place didn't have my doc on file
Then worked out my ob had forgotten to send me for the scan bloodtest so I had to get then to ring him so I could get them straight after.
Then my medical condition made my bladder empty even though I did all the right things :(
But it was still ok they could see everything but I don't mind getting an internal anyway, after fertility treatment I'm used to it!!
Miss 6 was chatterbox and miss 2 was out if sorts so hubby had handful keeping them quiet and miss 2 is still randomly sad and weird :/

Thanks for the thoughts. Now I just want sleep!!

Ps Greenslw is it your scan today?

Heart rate sounds perfect Duchess. Anything between 120 and 180 BPM is great. Sometimes they cant get the exact HR because baby is moving.
How frustrating about all thier stuff ups though! Grr!

Morph scan is booked for May 29. Not suprisingly DF "cant" make it. Apparently he doesnt want anyone else in his workspace because they always make a mess and get things wrong that he has to fix. Its not like Im asking him to take a week off, only a couple of hours in 3 weeks time. But yanno, clearly its just not that high on his list of priorities. If he has no interest in this baby at all then why am I even here? We havent bought anything, we havent even looked and if I do its by myself- he chooses to sit in the car, hasnt been to a single appointment because hes "done it all before and knows what happens", havent talked about names has no interest when I talk about it. Nothing. Im starting to get pretty ****ed off. Why suggest completely out of the blue to have another if hes not even interested!?
18 weeks on Sat. Its going so fast and hes making, possibly the last time Ill be pregnant, a non event.

Cal I must admit I'm a bit of a man hater at times and DF will get cross with me but your DF needs a boot in the butt. Not really supportive. I hope you have loads of support around you, and we're with you in spirit. Yay for 18 weeks bet you're really feeling pg now. :hug:

My scan went well no blood no clots and bubs is still 5 days bigger than average. So breathing again and might start to enjoy being pg. now I need to think about work my boss is anti baby due to 8 pg women in a year. It makes it hard on a team I know but we're all 25-35 so what do you expect also great maternity leave arrangements 16 weeks paid and up to 2 years off.

just checking in, had a scan today at ob appt and I'm measuring nearly a week ahead and everything looks perfect. I'm 10+4 officially. I'm feeling so much happier and positive although evrything was good at this stage last time so in reality in doen't mean anything. But I feel so much better seeing him/her kicking around! 12 week scan in 11 days! I'm worried about the 12 week scan being at 12 plus 1 as bub probably died at 12 plus 3 last time.

calluna- sorry you're not getting much support :( hopefully he'll get better when it's getting closer and seems more real.

greenslw and duchess- yeah for scans! congrats guys.

me4- glad you're going ok. Sounds like you're well into the second trimester feeling better stage! Wish I could make some stuff- I have NO energy. Maybe a few weeks down the line.

was anyone on progesterone? I think I have to start weaning now at 10 weeks but I haven't had very clear instructions and was so overwhelmed in my appt I forgot to ask. Any ideas?

Ten weeks is when the placenta fully takes over and in most cases you can stop taking support but just call your doc to check in your case

i know they said at 10 weeks I could start stopping but they said something about slowly weaning cos it was a large dose, Ie start 1 every other night for a bit, then less frequently etc but I can't remember over how long I was supposed to wean them. Maybe 1 week at alternate nights?? Not sure.

I've left a message with the doctor but just wondered what others had been told.. ta!

Going to try getting an appointment tomorrow have had BH the last few days and some bleeding tonight (just a lil) but will have to get an antiD again.Bub's HB was picked up loud and clear on my doppler today and still feeling movements (especially when we got in the bath lol) so I'm not too worried, more because I need the antiD and to make sure they are *just* bh. Most of them are just a tightening of the lower tummy (where the uterus is) and uncomfortable and some are leaving me unable to talk and doubled over or curled up in pain. After DS2 though I don't want to take many chances, especially as I need to work and study for as long as possible and so getting issues sorted ASAP will give me the best chance of that.

Lyra - So glad your scan went well and bub is measuring ahead! I was on progesterone and from week 10-11 I was having 1 every 2nd day instead of 1 every day, then could stop from week 11-12, but I still took them for a couple as it wasn't clear if I had to stop at 12 weeks, which was what Dr said. I got a "weaning chart" of one of the nurses telling me what to take. Wow already over 10 weeks! Time flies doesn't it!

Duchess - Glad bub is all fine! Heart rate sounds fine too!

Greenslw - So happy for you that the scan went well and there is no sign of blood and clots! I'm glad you'll be able to start enjoying the pregnancy!

AFM Almost 16 weeks now, I can't believe it. I really can't wait till I feel bub moving around. Being a first timer I'm trying to concentrate and see if I feel anything, but so far no success, I think. Last night I had massive leg cramps and restless legs. Kept me awake for a bit. Sleeping with pillow between legs helps a tad bit. I thought I'd read this normally doesn't really happen till 3rd trimester?? But other than that I can't complain, really, seeing I'm feeling well.

Lyra I was on 2 x pesaries per day and my clinic said just stop at 12 weeks seems there are lots off different approaches hope dr got back to you. Glad scan went well too.

Me4 I had cramps last night and took a magnesium tablet. Weather is hotter last few days here might effect things. Hope you got some sleep and yay for 16 weeks.

Me work was blah today but while in a meeting I was distracted by little tap dancing in my belly :) love it. Going to do a big cook up this weekend need to be eating better, crackers are not lunch!
