Hi guys can I join in here? I am just 5w3d, have been trying for this one for a while. (I am lucky to have 2 perfect boys already.) I've had 5 mc - one early at 5w3d, 3 chem and one at 8w6d. Four of them consecutively last year.
For the first couple of days I was happy and excited, now I have just turned into an anxiety-ridden stresshead, and finding it hard to have any faith in this pregnancy at all (even though there is no real reason for that.) I would really love to feel the start of some ms, it would make me feel a lot better - I didn't have any with my last mc, so I feel like that is a bad sign for me. I'll be lucky if I get through the next few weeks without imploding I think. I thought I might be nervous but I didn't think I'd be this freaked out by it all.
Minnie - I hope you find out more and get good news on Tuesday.
Thankyou everyone !!!!!!! I was in bed all day yesterday and last night. I stopped vomitting late morning but just felt terrible all day.... I still feel queezy this morning. I'm wondering if I had gastro or ate something bad? Think my back and the sickness might not be related .... I hope so. I'll see how I go today. Think I have felt baby move... My belly is smaller due to the vomitting and fluid loss. I have eaten and drank tho.
Hi everyone - I survived the weekend at family gathering. Always stressful in early pregnancy though as I was so worried about what was in all the food they were serving etc. The event was my great aunt's 90th.... and it was at an old fashioned homestead run by a bunch of old ladies almost her age! They made all the food themselves which didn't give me much confidence from sandwiches to cream laden cakes and sweets and even frozen sausage rolls and party pies! Was trying to politely eat whilst avoiding the dodgy looking ones.... Think my mother noticed me declining the copious champagne on offer so she probably suspects. Not a big drama if she knows though, will probably tell her soon enough anyway!
Duchess - thanks for the link with the normal HCG ranges, that's great. Getting tested again Wed so hopefully they'll keep rising.
Melsta - sorry to hear you were so unwell. It's scary to feel so sick when pregnant - always get paranoid. Hope you can have some quiet time to recover properly.
me4eva - wonderful you can feel bub move - very exciting! hope you get the washing machine fixed soon, that would drive me crazy!
smamfa - welcome. It's definitely hard to relax in early pregnancy after the miscarriages. I'm 6wks today so still early days too. I hope all goes well for you.
minniemouse - all the best for the scan tomorrow, hope all is OK. Thinking of you.
MinnieMouse- If bub has a cleft lip or palette, s/he will still be ok and I'm sure you will love bub dearly no matter what. There is also a lot they can do these days to make children with these abnormalities more ordinary. I know it would still be disappointing if the u/s does actually reveal their concerns to be founded but you will get used to it I'm also pretty damn sure I don't really need to say that but thought a lil extra positive support may be helpful ;-)
Can't remember who asked about PCOS but I have it also. I lose weight during the first trimester but gained it further along (except this one so far). Not sure if PCOS related or not though or if just from puking LOL. Didn't puke much with DS1 though.
Morning everyone....im ok but still not feeling 100./. ...my back is completely playing up today and making me jolt when i move ......and im feeling quiet sick but havent actually vomitted since Saturday......got my morp scan on Thursday in the morning then obs next week....ill see how i go if i get no better ill ring the ob....emotionally im on a bit of a roller coaster at the moment..
desailly......as i dont mind a drink or 20 it was very hard to hide but by the third baby you kinda get good at hiding the not drinking...LOL....a few occasions i couldnt go to and the others i started using champas classes and just having orange juice...or empty a beer or bottle can and fill it up with something else...or using a spirit glass and filling it with lemonade and saying its a vodka and lemonade.....or standing with a drink and then pouring some out when no one is looking or in the bathroom
How are you Greenslw....me4ever...damprye..calluna...everyone else
I've been sooooooo moody I'm again worrying about stress on bub. To add to my gazillion things to do my cousin has decided that I MUST go try on bridesmaid dresses NOW!! Wedding is end of September and I was hoping to be showing more when I tried them on, so I'll go after I go to OB on Friday.
I want to feel more pregnant before I have to try on maternity dresses, all my normal clothes still fit.
I'll be 33 weeks at wedding.
Sooooooo tired too, i thought the tiredness would wear off by now but I seem to forget everything about pregnancy and newborns as soon as that stage is over.
I couldnt stand it any longer and went to a chiro while at work...he said my neck, my middle of my back and my lower back were a complete mess.....and is probably the cause of the headaches and dizzyness etc....lower back is still sore but it may take a little while to settle....
Duchess..i am the same. but i am at the point of thinking i might go see a counselor......Im just not myself and i am extremely stressed at the moment, i fly off the handle (for valid reasons of course ) but im noticing my control is not there and im feeling pretty bad about not handling situations better and have more control in front of the kids.....they do say of course its better for yourself to not be so stressed while pregnant, but i think mild stress you wont cause too many issues...i have a wedding in september too..although i wont have to be in a bridesmaid dress......hopefully they will be able to order the larger size and just make sure the dress is adjustable in a few sizes....
