Woohoo!! I got my job :D Now for the part were I tell them I'm UTD in 6 weeks or so time lol.
Mel I wouldn't recommend the merina without researching all options first - I had one in for approx 2 years & it caused me grief & discomfort the whole time. Eventually it expelled itself & scratched my cervix on the way out which caused an infection. After it came out I did some research & discovered it should never have been recommended to me due to prior ectopic. A friend of mine only lasted 2 weeks with it in before it repositioned itself & she had to have it removed.

Congratulations ticktock!!! What wonderful news :)
Birth control is one thing I never have to worry about. My ovaries only work when I inject them with hormones. This is our last bub because the ovarian failure will make things near impossible and my body likely couldn't cope with another pregnancy so I have come to terms with last baby and am treasuring every up and down.
I scared myself this morning, I woke with hubby squashing against my belly because miss 6 was squashed against him, I started to freak out about bubba but have felt afew kicks since then.
-
Baby should be nicely cocooned in their Duchess, would serve dad right if he received a swift kick though :)
Sounds like you may need a bigger bed :)
-
I thought so too but have heard of bubs dying because blood supply was squashed like the cord and placenta and stuff so properly messed with my head. We have a queen size bed and thank goodness miss 2 Rathers her own bed!
We would consider getting king bed but we love our iron four poster bed and can't fit a king size!!
Thanks though :)
-
Oh my goodness! I've never heard of that before, that's terrible. DP rolled onto the cat one night (cat has never slept on the bed when DP is home since) and had no idea even with me pushing him off the poor cat. Will have to keep that in mind when I'm big in the belly. Separate beds may be in order. It won't be me moving though & I usually sleep better when I have the whole bed so that could work for me :D
-
I think it's bad luck if it happens but on one side if you lie on that side you can squash the cord I'd you lie a certain way after a certain number of weeks, gosh I don't even know if its true but it's always in the back of my mind! I think certain angles the bub can squash own cord too... But all could just be ways to scare pregnant women in lying a certain way or buying an expensive pillow
-
If you lay on your back during pregnancy, the weight of your uterus squishes your blood supply that goes to your baby and to your heart. Is sadly a real thing. That's why when performing CPR on a pregnant woman, you need to elevate her right hip with anything you can get your hands on, hard or soft (where possible). That is also the safe way to sleep on your back if that is the only comfy position for you. Best is to lay on your left. I lay partially on my left and tummy most of the time so that my hips don't ache as much and I'd prefer not to sleep on my back most the time. I also pee less on my left ;-)
-
Thanks damprye, I didn't know that about the CPR. I'm going to struggle to not sleep on my back. DP will think it's great as sleeping on my back while pregnant has really increased my snoring lol.

Just popping in to say wahoo for you tic toc I'm so happy for you
Hope everyone else is ok
So cold today and I have a nasty cough thanks ds.
Counted out today only 14 work days to go in one job and 20 in the other. Scary! But exciting
-
Ticktoc- Congrats on your job :)
Duchess- Isn't that always scary before they kick when you are worried about them
Greenslw- Not long now :)
AFM- Just got home *sigh* I want a normal pregnancy without all these extra trips! BH/ctx have been steady (no closer than 9mins apart and similar strength so not worried. Pretty damn sure I peed myself today whilst being violently sick but not 100% sure, it had a straw coloured tinge....again, not all that concerning. Sneezed and leaked a bit, presumably pee...then it kept going...hmm, a lil concerning, I have pretty awesome bladder control and had gone a few minutes earlier, still not too worried. Go to the loo to clean up and freshen my pad and a hunk of yellow gunk comes out 0_0 uh oh. Call my hossy and see if I really need to come in cos my OB hasn't particulary seemed worried with everything soI didn't see why I needed to stress or come in, surely it could wait till Monday? Nope, OB made me go in :(
Ctx are there (not showing cos of all my fat, like my first bub at term so nothing new for me, even"skinny" with my second TOCO only changed by 5 and I was pushing him out!) But they could tell as bub HR would drop with each one. They insisted on doing a swab as well to check waters which came back +ive, done some other test to see if labour will start within the next 24hrs and that came back -ive, yay :D So finally got to go home. Don't need to worry about infection as I'm already on very strong abx for the ureaplasma infection. They didn't check cervical position or dilation as we don't want to further upset my already tender bits but did chevk bub's possie. She could only get further down if on her way out lol! No wonder my girlie hurts. So many FMs as well, I felt like I was constantly holding the button! And she got the hiccups quite audibly which was totally awesome XD Now I'm headed to bed for work tomorrow *yawn* night :-)

 damprye - this baby sure is making your life interesting! Hope you got some sleep before working again.
-
Damprye-- do they/you think bub will come early or that this horridness will continue til full term?? You need a break!
Thanks for the info on sleeping, i was pretty sure I heard something like that with DD1 pregnancy.
Big somersaults from baby this morning so happy mumma
-
I did get some sleep :) And as for bub, no idea. I recon that it will continue till bub comes or they try to induce but am worried that things could happen sooner, especially if I let things go again (like DS2's pregnancy). They aren't able to give me an answer but I am on weekly obs atm (even though I annoyingly am in more atm). Hard to feel upset about it right now while the bubby that I am going through all this for is rolling around in my tummy XD On the plus sides, if she were to come early, I'm past the big 28weeks (bring on 32!) and if we do keep her in till term, 13weeks and a couple days max until I hold her in my arms. In that moment, no matter what, it is all worth it and the pain stops...till next time lol. I have that moment with DS2's birth on video. All the hurt and pain was instantly gone (endorphins helped) and I was holding my baby :D
-
Congratulations tick Tok!!!!!!!!! I really don't know now what to do about birth control after. Hubby won't have the snip. Think he would have more if he could.
Duchess oh wow..... Hope bubs is fine
Damprye if I lay on my back it wakes me up in my sleep. Hope that little girl stays inside as long as possible
Greenslw hope you feel better
Me.... My cousin is having contractions 10 mins apart and the hospital told her to go in when there 5 ... I can't stop thinking about her. Me... I'm plodding along... My hubby is making me mad at the moment. I have got it in for him !!!!!! I have been falling asleep pretty early.. Got some clothes for the kids since everything was out on special. Been a bit naughty.

Have decided one of the good things about being pregnant & having sore boobs is that I now more often than not sleep in a maternity singlet with built in bra - this comes most in handy when I've spent the day in my pj's packing the house & decide at 8pm that I would like cold rock ice cream (cannot stand to eat "normal" food for dinner) & all I have to do to be semi presentable is swap pj pants for jeans & pull on a jumper, no bra :D
-
Melster- i went all cluck cluck yesty when my friend had her bub :D
Ticktoc- lol i wish mine were small enough to get away with that!
AFM- Boring baby day yesterday (woohoo!) Just some leaking, some pains but no hospital trips :D You cab't velieve how happy I am about that! She has still been very active which is wonderful as well of course haha. I also love my beanbag. DP stayed over last night and so I was down a couple pillows. Grabbed my beanbag and went to sleep on my knees and draped over it. Ahhhh felt really good for my poor girl bits (she keeps going somewhere between 4/5ths above brim (just a bit engaged) to 1/5th above brim (which forces my legs to apread and hurts heaps. DP couldn't help but laugh at me in that position lol
-
Yay for no hospital trips!! I totally get that!! I've been mega impressed with my bub not giving me hospital trips as I am a rarity and end up with questions about my medical conditions that have nothing to do with why I am there! A simple I need a hydrocortisone injection turns into a practise diagnosis and by that time I am dehydrated and need a drip :/ so another couple of hours gone.
Bub moved so so so much yesterday!! Like more than any other day do far :) funny considering the day before I just wanted one movement so I knew he/she was ok.
It was hubby's birthday yesterday so that was nice and today I was about to have shower and me time while the girls played while he mowed and turns out my daddy's girl wants me if she can see a mower so everything delayed this morning :/ it'll be lunch soon and I won't have done anything !!

Tick Tok... I'm the same as damprye.. I'm in a f/g... My boobs go
Massive ... I am constantly in a bra even too sleep and without bras.. Lets just say its not flattering !!!!!!
Damprye... Haven't heard from my cousin since last night so I'm assuming no news is good news and she is having bubs right now... Cluck cluck I go... Are you back with ur partner?
Duchess .. This little girl isn't overly active but I do get some good kicks during the day
Woken up in my sleep with a few hb spews... It's not as bad as the other pregnancies but enough to take at least a tablet a day... I think I'm putting on some weight at the moment..... Trying not to look in the mirror too much :) before we know it it will be the last trimester. I can't believe it and then onto the next faze
