Scan day today!! Yippee :) Am so excited. Fingers crossed all is well. Bub is a very quiet baby and have been having kicks only about every 2 days and only very gentle ones... Can feel them through the skin though!

Duchess....i hope things start looking up for you soon....maybe get miss 6 checked out just so you can rule things out and work out whats going on......can you change who you have the property through? change the price of the house? or so something different and see if that works? i really hope you get tenants soon.....with DD2...actually both mine havent been great sleepers....i had DD4 and DD2 in my bed :o with the baby coming i finally put them in there own room together, pushed the beds together and they sleep there. DD4 is really good and sleeps most nights through...DD2 still wakes up but is better..i do have to lay down with her in there but its getting better...i have tried every which way with sleeping...controlled crying. controlled comforting..sleeping with me..tried every trick in the book..and sleep drs....eventually they just ended up in with me when it got to much....hoping next miss will be different and will be a different sleeper...cots in my room this time so im going to make sure she sleeps there and not with me....
I havent even picked a name out for DD3 yet???????? i have my morp scan tomorrow
im still not well so providing everythings ok at the scan ill see how i go..i may have to see ob because even though he did my back the left hand side is still so sore...what else is there? what else could it be?

Since being on market it's been with 3 agents and price dropped about $67k so as long as we get new tenants I will even consider taking off market to get the tenants just a pity the place costs us to keep with rates and difference between rent and mortgage and then paying rent in Brisbane.
I got appointment at GP next week so I'll talk about stress and dd1 ADHD and if he agrees bring her the week later.
While on phone with GP dd2 carried the kitten around by the tail so I sounded completely crazy getting her to put him down, funny but sooooo not!!
Dd2 sleep at night is crap so today I'm going to try super short daytime nap !! At wits end once she sleeps its fine but getting her to sleep last night took three plus hours then dd1 woke with night terrors :(

Minnie- so glad all was OK with bub. I know you'll always still be a bit paranoid until you have them in your arms but good that they think all is well.

Duchess - sounds like you have a lot going on in your life at the moment! I hope you are able to find some tenants for your place. Sounds like you really need a bit of time out for you. Glad you're going to see the GP - try to get some rest and hope GP is able to help you with some coping strategies.
AFM - I've come down with a bad cold and all I want to do is curl up in bed and sleep. I think some of that early pregnancy tiredness is starting to hit as well. I know a cold probably can't hurt bub but you still get worried all the time. I have a really heavy head cold and am coughing non stop. Will go see Dr if no improvement in a couple of days. I'm off to get another HCG blood test this afternoon so fingers crossed all still going to plan.
Just a quick message! Even though scan was this morning, we've been out most of the day! All is well with the little one! Last time it measured 2 days behind, now it's 2 days ahead!! "It" was moving around a lot, kicking and waving, but still got some nice pictures out of it! Placenta is on the low side, so we might need an extra scan at 32? weeks, we'll see. All fingers and toes are there, heart seems to be all good, and "it" has got the cutest face. Love the fact they can do 4D pics!

Baby is so on the move mega active and big kicks love it. Work is out of control I actually thought about going on stress leave today. Thank god for a long weekend in the country with DS and DF. No tv no phone open fire and relax. Will still bring iPad and DVD player lol just in case.

This morning I got a bfp & I'm ecstatic! This is my 5th pregnancy but I only have my 12yr old DD so as happy as I am I'm feeling cautious as I know things don't go according to plan. I think I'm 4wks +3, haven't told DP yet (but I couldn't resist texting my best friend lol) as he was already at work when I tested - am hoping to buy a"baby on board" sign after work & stick it to my belly as he walks in the door.
Not sure I'm ready to join the Feb due group just yet so will hang out here if that's ok? :D

Dd2 did go to sleep a bit better last night so will try shorter nap again today to make sure it was not a fluke. Keeping her awake after gymnastics this morning will be interesting because I am exhausted too !!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, unfortunately I may have been a bit premature in announcing my bfp & joining the group - I just went to the loo & had brown tinged cm so now I am freaking out! Dutchess- Lol are people really complaining of a pest problem in a rural area? If I had the money, I would totally go rural and hope to once bub is born, studies are complete and I can get a community service job out there but that will likely take a couple years as noone would want someone rural will little experience. I almost brought a house out in Kondinin (?sp) a few years ago. They were willing to give it up for 100K (needed some extreme reno to be a "nice" house but I still liked it). Lots of rooms though. Good financially that I didn't (cos I lost work and such pg with ds2) but I still wish I had.

AFM- My goodness does this baby move! I'm loving it even though she has caused quite a bit of pain by doing so and left me with a tender tum but yays on no bh today. After getting appointments sorted today, I went and had lunch at dome with DS2 (well was kind of an appt as well as my friend with us is part of a program I am a part of and was catching up as part of the program also) and then we went home for a nap :D gonna tidy downstairs again tonight (never ends does it?) and will be getting my bathroom all pretty
Hi all I'm still feeling miserable with cold and have had my first day of full on morning sickness so rather unpleasant in all. However in good news this weeks hcg test great -16 916 at 6wks 2 days. Still early days but good start at least.

I'm seeing the GP on Tuesday, I'll be 5+1 & am hoping my hcg levels are healthy. I wonder if it would be worth asking for an u/s so early? I'd really like reassurance bubs where it is meant to be. I'm trying to not think of what could go wrong or else I start crying (like I did this morning while putting washing on, funny hormones!)

Me- hate the affect of elevit combined with iron tablets!?! I was in so much pain and scared myself with cramps but was just severely constipated so I'll ask GP on Friday to get me something to move things along
My ob appointment was awesome, couldn't get Doppler heartbeat so did quick scan everything is working and were it should be :)

Ticktok I know these early days are stressful but dont think you'll be able to see much on a scan yet. Earliest probably about 6wks.

I've still got a cold but not feeling quite so miserable. And at least onset of morning sickness a good sign in many ways! DS turns 6 tomorrow so focussed organising celebrations for him which is a good distraction. Unfortunately I've given him my cold tho so hope he doesn't feel too sick on his bday.
Duchess you have my sympathy regarding the elevit! when I first started taking it in Dec it clogged me up but then my body got used to it but since falling pregnant - omg! It's terrible! No matter how much water I drink or vegies I eat. Have started eating a handful of dried prunes at night to ease things along for the morning and glad to say it's working well.
Desailly how far along are you? (sorry, I probably should go back and check) I hope you're little boy is feeling ok tomorrow.

I woke up this morning convinced I had lost this pregnancy :wall: and when I went to the loo and saw very pale pink tinged cm that made me cry so I hopped back in bed and started over analyzing all my symptoms or lack of but once I'd spoken to DP and told him my fears and had more of a cry I realised that the cm is probably from DTD yesterday morning and as I am only 5 weeks today it's probably a bit early for the onset of strong ms and other symptoms. DP kindly gave "the girls" a feel and reassured me they still feel like they're growing and becoming fuller :rolleyes:
I promise, I'm not normally this neurotic, I blame the hormones :redface: I hope the GP I see tomorrow is a "human" and doesn't treat me like I'm nuts (I have had to find a new GP after moving to the area last year). It would be great if she recognises that I may need a bit more reassurance for a while.
Ticktok I'm 7 wks today. I think it's natural to over analyse all your symptoms after some losses. I know I am! I'm getting blood test weekly to check hcg levels which whilst not conclusive gives some peace of mind. Maybe ask your gp tomorrow if they'll arrange that for u. I'm hanging out for ob apt on 19 June as he'll do scan and I so want to see a heart beat this time!
It's completely normal to analyse every symptom.
I really not really having any symptoms till about 8wks & I was convinced the pregnancy was over.
Now I worry when Boo doesn't move or seems very quiet.
Even tho I know he still has heaps of room to move about so I won't always feel him but you know pregnancy sends us all a little crazy
Until I'm told otherwise I'm telling myself my placenta is stopping me from feeling anything!!
I over analysed everything, this bub was one of many many many tries at fertility treatment... I ended up telling myself that all symptoms can go either way and not to worry until I have a doctor tell me to, it kinda worked...
In the middle of a huge house rearrangement making sure baby will fit before we resign lease... The house is crazy

Well interesting weekend the days were great full of outdoor adventure, night ahh DS was a handful ended up in our bed and DF ended up in his bed. Oh well back home. Also have come to a decision I'm telling work this week. Feeling so nervous but I have to trust that my integrity will be valued and when I go for the job trust the integrity of my boss will mean she chooses based on merit. :pray: I think it's the right choice. Guess ill know if I get the job.
Took today off work. Just haven't been feeling to flash hot... Feel quiet sick with the back pain. Have obs app Thursday so I might wait till then unless I get worse. Been feeling her move so hopefully she is ok. Think I broke my toe to this morning :( having some stresses with the step kids and ex which is an issue
Tic tock I was so worried the first twenty weeks with this baby and dd 2.... The thoughts would get the better of me. As time goes it does get easier ..

GP appt went well, she's not concerned about the spotting & described it as left over implantation bleeding because "the baby burrows in very deep, like a parasite" lol

In my scans from week 6 to 10 there was a blood clot from implantion so they were surprised that I didn't have bleeding. My friends bleed with every kid.

I ordered the bridesmaid dress today and then my cousin put on Facebook it was a good day because "a wedding issue was sorted" made me feel crap, so I sent her a email saying I'm sorry if I was the issue and that the reason I had delayed ordering it was because I needed to wait til I was over 14 weeks as until then I couldn't bring myself to think about getting a maternity dress as that was when dd2 twin died. And told her how important the wedding is to me etc :/
Mel glad you're looking after yourself and having a day off, your poor toe ouch. I've lost weight while pg and I seem to carry in not out so scarfs and my normal hippy attire lol has kept most ppl from asking I didn't look pg with DS till 30 weeks. I'm feeling guilty now but we've had so many manager changes and it hasn't been the right time but its time now ready or not.

So with all my courage I looked at my managers diary and :wall: he's not in the same office as me at all this week arg and I wanted to hit him up for a reference for the job too, also my other manager had a migraine today so didn't tell her either. Blah this is getting too hard! So tomorrow I might drive to the other office and drop in to see my manager, bit out of the way but this isn't an on the phone conversation.
do you ever get the feeling sometimes its just not youre week!!! or month !!! that you woke up on the wrong side of the bed..last few weeks have been terrible in every which way with all my car and money issues..step kids and ex issues..and sickness etc..the list goes on..
Yesterday all i wanted to do was have a rest without the kids..so they went off..then DD4 gets sent home from kindy..its not on that day...then DD2 gets sent home from Child care with foot and mouth..then i break my toe...fight with hubby... feel so sick and back aching....blerrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
So i have an obs appointment tomorrow...get the wee test back...booked in for another chiro appointment if its that....and im back at work today.....cars scaring me to drive because i dont think the breaks are that great..they work but im worried when i have to stop really quickly....all the money stuff and the rest im trying to put my head in the sand...think ill finally make the move and make a counslors appointment..she is like talking to a friend but i better do something

Hi everyone, hcg from yesterday was 1610 - I was worried it was low but apparently that's fine. Still haven't been on laptop so I'm sorry for not responding personally to everyone. Once again I'm wiped out & will be in bed once DD is tucked in. I don't remember being this tired with DD - mind you that was 13yrs ago lol

I was at a meeting today with a co worker and she looked like rubbish I was thinking is she pg? And yep due one day befor me :o Wow but work knows about her. My scan is tomorrow and we are taking DS too which will be fun. No gender news for us but looking forward to a looky loo think squirt has been hic upping too DS did it all the time.
