Minnie so happy for you.
Duchess and Mel   having someone to talk to can be life changing (counsellor) pg just adds on top of life and speaking from my own exp a counsellor really helped me after DS.
Me what a day so tired late home but was treated by a smiling happy DS. The last two nights he's woken up wanting me and I carried him last night bad move today really sore tummy. It's so hard not to carry him but at 18 kg way over what's recommended. Work was so busy today I missed my wax  for the second month, feels like maternity leave may be the only way I get a break  love DF he's out in the cold fixing the power which just blew a fuse. He is useful.

I've had severe issues before when miss 2 was 4 months old, my GP is actually really good as a starting point for me, often just assures me its all pretty normal or suggests some
Stress handling techniques. No tenants was not part of the plan. But I know i will get through it.
I think adding to issues miss 2 won't go to sleep at night. It takes two hours no matter when you start and its easier to start earlier as you miss some over tired tantruming.
Miss 6 is so understanding with it all thank goodness.

Duchess we've got a rural house on the market too and yep tenants have been missing from time to time hope they fill it soon. My DS was a shocking settler is miss 2 in a cot or bed? I did the gradual leaving strategy with DS. Worked for me not controlled crying which was good. 1st week sit near the cot hand in no talking it took 3 hours with DS then less and less. 2nd week sit near cot /bed no hand in 3rd week in the middle of bed and door4th week at the door 5th week out of the door. We went back to week 3 a coupe of times when DS got sick but he has been going to bed with a story and a cuddle now since around 2.
That being said DS has had night terrors since 18 months nothing settles those.
Hope I'm not being annoying I know we all get sick of advice but a good nights sleep is priceless.

She is on a mattress near the floor about a month or two ago we had to take her out of cot because we needed to get her to sleep in bed not in our arms in front of telly that had worked from birth. We lie beside her until she goes to sleep at lunch time it's a peaceful process maybe 30 mins to get to sleep, nighttime she only wants daddy and she takes forever and gets herself worked up easily. Last week I tried to get her to sleep and she cried til she spewed and hyperventilated.
Our house has been in the market for almost three years with me not working and medical conditions we have not enough money for no tenants and its not like 17 weeks pregnant and stressed is a good time to get work :/
Doesn't help that I constantly convince myself that something is wrong with bub :(

Scan day today!! Yippee :) Am so excited. Fingers crossed all is well. Bub is a very quiet baby and have been having kicks only about every 2 days and only very gentle ones... Can feel them through the skin though!
Hi to everyone! Have a good day!

Glad you're scan went well MM
Duchess....i hope things start looking up for you soon....maybe get miss 6 checked out just so you can rule things out and work out whats going on......can you change who you have the property through? change the price of the house? or so something different and see if that works? i really hope you get tenants soon.....with DD2...actually both mine havent been great sleepers....i had DD4 and DD2 in my bed :o with the baby coming i finally put them in there own room together, pushed the beds together and they sleep there. DD4 is really good and sleeps most nights through...DD2 still wakes up but is better..i do have to lay down with her in there but its getting better...i have tried every which way with sleeping...controlled crying. controlled comforting..sleeping with me..tried every trick in the book..and sleep drs....eventually they just ended up in with me when it got to much....hoping next miss will be different and will be a different sleeper...cots in my room this time so im going to make sure she sleeps there and not with me....
I havent even picked a name out for DD3 yet???????? i have my morp scan tomorrow
im still not well so providing everythings ok at the scan ill see how i go..i may have to see ob because even though he did my back the left hand side is still so sore...what else is there? what else could it be?
thanks greenslw
Me4ever....what times youre scan...hope everythings fantastic..cant wait to hear

Since being on market it's been with 3 agents and price dropped about $67k so as long as we get new tenants I will even consider taking off market to get the tenants just a pity the place costs us to keep with rates and difference between rent and mortgage and then paying rent in Brisbane.
I got appointment at GP next week so I'll talk about stress and dd1 ADHD and if he agrees bring her the week later.
While on phone with GP dd2 carried the kitten around by the tail so I sounded completely crazy getting her to put him down, funny but sooooo not!!
Dd2 sleep at night is crap so today I'm going to try super short daytime nap !! At wits end once she sleeps its fine but getting her to sleep last night took three plus hours then dd1 woke with night terrors :(

Oh goooooood luck with scan me4ever :)

Minnie- so glad all was OK with bub. I know you'll always still be a bit paranoid until you have them in your arms but good that they think all is well.
Me4ever - good luck with your scan, hope all is good.
Melster - glad you saw chiro and hope you can get some improvement in your back soon.
Duchess - sounds like you have a lot going on in your life at the moment! I hope you are able to find some tenants for your place. Sounds like you really need a bit of time out for you. Glad you're going to see the GP - try to get some rest and hope GP is able to help you with some coping strategies.
AFM - I've come down with a bad cold and all I want to do is curl up in bed and sleep. I think some of that early pregnancy tiredness is starting to hit as well. I know a cold probably can't hurt bub but you still get worried all the time. I have a really heavy head cold and am coughing non stop. Will go see Dr if no improvement in a couple of days. I'm off to get another HCG blood test this afternoon so fingers crossed all still going to plan.

Just a quick message! Even though scan was this morning, we've been out most of the day! All is well with the little one! Last time it measured 2 days behind, now it's 2 days ahead!! "It" was moving around a lot, kicking and waving, but still got some nice pictures out of it! Placenta is on the low side, so we might need an extra scan at 32? weeks, we'll see. All fingers and toes are there, heart seems to be all good, and "it" has got the cutest face. Love the fact they can do 4D pics!

Baby is so on the move mega active and big kicks love it. Work is out of control I actually thought about going on stress leave today. Thank god for a long weekend in the country with DS and DF. No tv no phone open fire and relax. Will still bring iPad and DVD player lol just in case.

Wow - I'm finally here! I've been stalking this thread since we started TTC in Feb & now I'm here :D
This morning I got a bfp & I'm ecstatic! This is my 5th pregnancy but I only have my 12yr old DD so as happy as I am I'm feeling cautious as I know things don't go according to plan. I think I'm 4wks +3, haven't told DP yet (but I couldn't resist texting my best friend lol) as he was already at work when I tested - am hoping to buy a"baby on board" sign after work & stick it to my belly as he walks in the door.
Not sure I'm ready to join the Feb due group just yet so will hang out here if that's ok? :D
-
Mel - good luck with scan today!!! Are you feeling a bit better?
Ticktoc - Welcome and a huge congrats! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!
Greenslw - You poor thing with work :( A long weekend away sounds wonderful! When are you off? Enjoy it!
Desailly - hope you're feeling better today! Colds suck and they suck even more while pregnant, when you're already tired...
Duchess - how did the short daytime nap work for your little one's night sleep? Did she have a better night last night?
Lyra & Kbudgie - how are you holding up?
Hi to anyone else I missed :)
-
I'm here & i'm reading just not posting.
Feeling very blah at the moment.
Welcome ticktoc, hope you have a happy & healthy pregnancy :)

Welcome tictoc!! So excited for you!!
Dd2 did go to sleep a bit better last night so will try shorter nap again today to make sure it was not a fluke. Keeping her awake after gymnastics this morning will be interesting because I am exhausted too !!
I walked into my house today and seriously realised it has the look of a house broken into lol, must must try and catch up!!!
Oh oh oh oh oh I think I very very very very maybe may have felt a couple of little kicks last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
-

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, unfortunately I may have been a bit premature in announcing my bfp & joining the group - I just went to the loo & had brown tinged cm so now I am freaking out! Going to bed & trying to think positive, think I will lay low for a while. I don't know what to think.
