Took today off work. Just haven't been feeling to flash hot... Feel quiet sick with the back pain. Have obs app Thursday so I might wait till then unless I get worse. Been feeling her move so hopefully she is ok. Think I broke my toe to this morning :( having some stresses with the step kids and ex which is an issue
Tic tock I was so worried the first twenty weeks with this baby and dd 2.... The thoughts would get the better of me. As time goes it does get easier ..
Greenslw how did you hide you're pregnancy from wk so long?
Hello everyone. Sorry no long post today
-
Hi everyone, on my phone so will be quick - feeling better today, no tears or negative thoughts. Actually woke up feeling queasy which made me smile. And I'm so bloated! Argh, what's with that?
Thank you all for your support & understanding, reading your posts have made me feel more confident & reassured. I will check in after appt this afternoon.
-
GP appt went well, she's not concerned about the spotting & described it as left over implantation bleeding because "the baby burrows in very deep, like a parasite" lol
I have a dating scan on the 24th & another Gp visit on the 3rd July so fingers crossed everything continues to go smoothly.
Completely exhausted, will be in bed early tonight. Hope everyone is well?
-
In my scans from week 6 to 10 there was a blood clot from implantion so they were surprised that I didn't have bleeding. My friends bleed with every kid.
Glad the doc was able to reassure you.
Did you make an appointment for a scan?
I felt lots of kicks last night very reassuring.
I ordered the bridesmaid dress today and then my cousin put on Facebook it was a good day because "a wedding issue was sorted" made me feel crap, so I sent her a email saying I'm sorry if I was the issue and that the reason I had delayed ordering it was because I needed to wait til I was over 14 weeks as until then I couldn't bring myself to think about getting a maternity dress as that was when dd2 twin died. And told her how important the wedding is to me etc :/
-
Mel glad you're looking after yourself and having a day off, your poor toe ouch. I've lost weight while pg and I seem to carry in not out so scarfs and my normal hippy attire lol has kept most ppl from asking I didn't look pg with DS till 30 weeks. I'm feeling guilty now but we've had so many manager changes and it hasn't been the right time but its time now ready or not.
Duches yay for dress shopping
Tictoc glad you're more up beat today rest is the best medicine
So with all my courage I looked at my managers diary and :wall: he's not in the same office as me at all this week arg and I wanted to hit him up for a reference for the job too, also my other manager had a migraine today so didn't tell her either. Blah this is getting too hard! So tomorrow I might drive to the other office and drop in to see my manager, bit out of the way but this isn't an on the phone conversation.

do you ever get the feeling sometimes its just not youre week!!! or month !!! that you woke up on the wrong side of the bed..last few weeks have been terrible in every which way with all my car and money issues..step kids and ex issues..and sickness etc..the list goes on..
Yesterday all i wanted to do was have a rest without the kids..so they went off..then DD4 gets sent home from kindy..its not on that day...then DD2 gets sent home from Child care with foot and mouth..then i break my toe...fight with hubby... feel so sick and back aching....blerrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
So i have an obs appointment tomorrow...get the wee test back...booked in for another chiro appointment if its that....and im back at work today.....cars scaring me to drive because i dont think the breaks are that great..they work but im worried when i have to stop really quickly....all the money stuff and the rest im trying to put my head in the sand...think ill finally make the move and make a counslors appointment..she is like talking to a friend but i better do something
Tick toc..so glad things are ok..ill keep everything crossed for you
Duchess...wow thats pretty harsh!!! did she understand why and what you had been going through?
Greenlw....wow you're lucky...i cant hide mine at all...it was hard to hide at 8/9 weeks...
-
Hi everyone, hcg from yesterday was 1610 - I was worried it was low but apparently that's fine. Still haven't been on laptop so I'm sorry for not responding personally to everyone. Once again I'm wiped out & will be in bed once DD is tucked in. I don't remember being this tired with DD - mind you that was 13yrs ago lol
-
Mel  hope that is it for your run of crappy luck maybe a little treat just for you?
Tictoc the HCG numbers are so variable as long as they are rising that's the important thing
Sneaky happy birthday to me4 :happybirthday: hope you're getting spoilt
I was at a meeting today with a co worker and she looked like rubbish I was thinking is she pg? And yep due one day befor me :o Wow but work knows about her. My scan is tomorrow and we are taking DS too which will be fun. No gender news for us but looking forward to a looky loo think squirt has been hic upping too DS did it all the time.

Hi all
I've been soooooo sick today. Morning sickness well and truely set in 24 hrs a day. Keep reminding myself its good as I don't recall being this sick with the last 2 I lost. Really tired too wish I could just stay in bed all day. DS enjoyed his 6 th birthday but now I have party to organise for Saturday. First time I've done a party with school friends (he only started school this year) so a bit stressful having a bunch of kids I don't know coming.
Ticktock hcg levels sound good. Always hard to know as everyone's different. If you look back on this post about 3 weeks ago I think it was duchess gave me a link to the normal hcg ranges. On my phone now so to hard to find it sorry.
Greenslw did u end up speaking to your manager?
Melster hope you're doing ok. Sounds like you have a lot of stress in your life. How did ob appt go? Hope you can get some rest soon.
Duchess glad you're getting lots of kicks. Wedding dress drama sounds like a lot of unnecessary stress. Hopefully you can put it behind you now.
-
Greenslw would co worker be trying for that job too? That's amazing! Does she know about you?
Melster -- you need to get a break soon!!
Tictoc -- numbers rising, tiredness, sickness !! Yay!!!
Asm- my cousin had not meant me an issue with the venue but she did sound sorry for being pushy when she found out why I had been kinda delaying buying the dress.
I felt a lot the other night and hardly anything since and according to websites this kid should be 14.3cm at 18 weeks and I don't see how that is me I've not popped at all
-
Desaily yay for sickness, I kinda miss sickness lol!
-
Hi all I just got my hcg results for this week and they are a bit lower than I was anticipating. I thought they were supposed to double every 2 days or so which was my pattern over the last few weeks. However over the last week they went from 16918 (6wks 2ds) to 44906 (7wks 2ds) which works out at doubling in 5-6 days. Anyone know when the doubling slows and if this is normal or should I be worried? Another 6 days till ob apt so getting stressed!
-
Yes I need a holiday... But when I'm not pregnant and can drink and relax and not feel sick lol.... Had ob appointment and he thinks maybe I had a virus or food poisoning ... That my backs out and that it's ok to get Braxton's this early with the third child. Go back in a month and see the midwives when I'm 24 weeks. Had my chiro appointment so hopefully she has done the job. I'm going to go buy a weat bag... Think I might stay at my mums tonight and have a bath and have a craving for satay chicken and special fried rice lol yum....bought myself two bonds jumpers at Myers as they were out for 30 each... So hopefully they last me.. And bought a feeding privacy blanket
Tick tok.... I'm not 100./. About the results but it does sound ok...
Thanks Greenslw.... Good luck with you're scan tomorrow ...
Duchess... Some ppl just carry differently. Is ur dr worried at all !
Desailey .... I'm sorry I don't know much about levels... Can you search the Internet and see what the good range is for the weeks???? I wish you all the best
-
Melstar -- heat packs are a must!!
My ob not worried about not popping, last week at 17 weeks he said bit early for that lol
Doesn't help people around me are 34 or 38 weeks!!
Desaily -those numbers are massive and sound like another kind of right...
-
Duchess I have booked my scan for 24th June, two days before my birthday so fingers crossed I get an early birthday present and get to see a heartbeat. I cannot wait until I can feel baby kicking and moving around. Glad your cousin had some empathy regarding your bridesmaid dress.
Sorry you're having such a rough time Melstar, I hope things start to look up for you soon. Sometimes going to talk to someone and getting things off your chest is all that's needed. I love the idea of staying with your mum and having a soak in the bath! My bath tub is so small only half of me fits in, wish I could go somewhere and borrow someone elses lol.
Greenslw how was your scan? Did DS get a kick out of seeing his little brother / sister?
Desailly I hope the morning sickness isn't to unbareable! I knew I'd seen a hcg list on here somewhere, thanks for pointing it out for me. I think your levels are fine - have you spoken to your GP?
I rang the Gp this morning and got a slip for another hcg test, I want reassurance my numbers are going up. I keep telling myself that when I get my results tomorrow I will no longer stress about the pregnancy and focus on the positives (yeah right!) like extreme exhaustion, out of control appetite, unable to concentrate, memory loss, bloated belly and tender boobs - isn't it great??! I told DD last night, she was shocked but is happy and I've told her she can come to me with questions if she wants to know anything. She knows that I've had losses before and that this is only early days and we've all got our fingers crossed that everything goes well. It will definitely be a shock for her, she struggled a bit when we moved in with DP as she had had me to herself for 8 yrs and now she has to accept that she will no longer be an only child.
-
Sorry just a short one as pregnancy brain is kicking in and even though I've just read some of the latest responses, can't quite remember...
Hey Melster - still missing you on our belly buddy group on Facebook ;) Did you end up going to your mum's for a bath?? Yay for buying bonds jumpers at a good price!
Thanks greenslw - I had an awesome birthday. Last year was not so nice as I'd just had the D&C 4 days before and I was still feeling crappy and upset! Had a nice day shopping and went for lunch with a friend. At night went out for dinner with DH and his parents, grandpa and brother & sister in law en their little bub. The day was over before I knew it... Am glad your scan went well and good on you for not giving in to finding out the gender :)
Desailly -- I think it was you who asked from when the HCG numbers take longer to multiply. I'm pretty sure that's from 6000 onwards. Most places don't go beyond that for blood tests as by then you should be able to see something on the ultrasound.
Duchess - my bump is still pretty small - even though I'm not trying, not many people notice I'm pregnant, unless I tell them. And I'm coming up to 21 weeks!
-
Desailly my HCG didn't rise typically and started falling at 11 weeks not 13 but squirt is still hear try to keep calm
Duches I'm not out either I carry very centrally but I do have bump envy when ladies have a big out front bump but it is defiantly what's inside that counts ;)
Mel jumpers sound nice and good price I've been craving satay too with spring rolls yummy
Tic toc I hope new HCG test helps you feel better
Me what a night DS wet threw I was up at 5 am with work on my mind DS a d DF both cranky today but the scan went well average size which is good as DS was 57 cm and 9 lb 3. Plecenta well out the way and clot is still there but not bleeding. So to the midwife in 10 days and hope no more scans. I'm really chick ending out with telling work, job application in today and its been so crazy it just feels all wrong, what to do? I'm not showing but want maternity leave in 16 weeks so its getting rude but I don't want to miss out on the job either ........ I wish I could see how both options would turn out? Crazy right.
-
Greenslw -- you have lasted this long don't tell work til you need to... Do you need to give notice of maternity leave?
My dd1 was 57cm and 8 pound 6 she is still tall lol! Dd2 was 50cm and 6 pound 6 and 3 weeks 1 day early! So full term would have been similar
