Hi everyone, just popping in to say I'm still here. Am so tired I often feel tipsy & by 7pm there's no point talking to me because I cannot remember what was said. The nausea is getting worse, from mid morning until late afternoon I feel blah, I pee 3 times during the night & all my bras make my boobs feel hot & swollen! Isn't it great??? My hcg is 18086 as of yesterday so now counting down til my scan on the 12th. Oh! Forgot to mention I have a thumping headache & sore back today.
I hope everyone is happy & healthy. Sorry for no personals but although I just read them I cannot remember who wrote what. I wish I didn't work full time, I think fatigue would be better managed if I could rest during the day

I'm guessing 5kg I could have a shock on Thursday!! I put on 30+ kg with my eldest and 6-8kg with my youngest (morning sickness and failed gall bladder helped) so very interested in this time.
The only time they worry is if you were big to start with and renember we are only half way? So I think they want to get to to get it in check so its not extreme by end??
I wish I had with my eldest. I only lost 20 of the 30 before I got cushings disease and put on 35kg with the disease... And then lost 26kg after my surgery and was allowed to get pregnant with youngest and have started this pregnancy 10kg lighter than with youngest and 10kg heavier than with eldest....
I can't wait til this baby is born so I can get back to the body I knew before my disease and think about pre-baby weight.
For now I'm enjoying kicks :)
Tictock- when is your scan??
-
Not until the 12th - I should be 9 wks by then, fx. Am tempted to bring it forward but am following the advice of my dr. Plus if I have it on the 12th DP should be able to make it.
I'm worried about my weight - I put on 30kgs (in tri 2 & 3) with DD but had such a unhealthy lifestyle as well as at lot of fluid. This time I'll 11kgs heavier to start with but my diet & lifestyle are healthier.
-
Tictock/- you seriously won't put on too much if you are trying not too, first bub you have no idea til its too late or you don't understand how it could be different.
With my first I had 10kg in first trimester :/ and kept going up steadily knowing I was eating wrong and telling myself it was for the baby.
Second time was different for other reasons
But this bub I've been eating when hungry but not going overboard.
Don't stress, that's the last thing you her right now!

Morning...
Putting on the weight is the easy part...getting it off is the problem :o think it took me a year to get the 35 kilo off...think my second i had lost the majority off it by six months..this one im praying i dont put on more than 20kilo...the only thing is the baby puts majority of weight on in the later stages..so hopefully i dont put much body weight on....im eating more and not as healthy..but im not going completely over board..tick tok i think being aware of it defiantly helps and you probably wont put as much on
Im a TAD hormonal :o but whats new LOL...............my hips are starting to hurt a bit especially when i walk for longer periods and the heart burns ramping up....i havent been sleeping to well again...i have been waking up and being wide awake.....so im pretty tired. think the kids have colds and my body is starting to ache so im wondering if im getting something...i have the counslor next week so im hoping that will start helping me being so stressed and soooo hormonal....
Two ppl are due around the middle of july so im looking forward to that and seeing there new tiny bundles

Melster - hearing you with the sore hips during walks. I'm trying to walk my dog twice a day for half an hour. We'll see how long I can keep it up. Also had some heartburn starting last week. I'm trying to drink 2.7litres during the day and then only about 300 ml at night, if that. Also no drinks with dinner - this seems to help. After dinner try to sit up for as long as possible, don't lay down on the lounge. And the sleeping! I sleep well for a couple of hours, then am wide awake for about 2, then have loads of dreams, so wake up feeling tired as well. Today acupuncture, so hopefully she can help me some with the dreams... Hope we sleep better soon :) And yay for other people having bubs :) I've been enjoying cuddles with my new nephew ( 5 weeks old now) sooo cute. And a cousin had a baby as well, now 7 weeks, just as cute!
Duchess - good on you for eating only when hungry. I just seem to be hungry now all the time and even when I should be feeling full I can find room for more and not feel too full. I didn't gain any weight in the first trimester, but was also still on Metformin tablets. In the last 10 weeks I gained 9 kilos :$
Tictoc - fingers crossed the time will fly for you. Not long now!

Me4ever..we sound so much the same...its probably been the last week or so my hips have started and i have found it difficult to walk over the shops....i need to drink more water im naughty :/ the last two times i had heart burn so bad i woukd cry and it was the worst thing in both pregnancies...i would get it night and day..didnt matter what i ate, what i drank or what i was doing. I would vomitt constantly in my sleep and always be woken up from it..it was terrible...so im thanking my lucky stars its only just started now..i have been taking tablets but it will get too a point were i will have to take them night and day....they say eating late at night is defiantly the worst...and yeah staying up right after dinner, being propped up in bed...not eating spicy food, breads/cakes, anything acidic and not get over full with drink or meals because youre stomach is already squished so small meals....im getting really kranky at night...with DD2 being a nightmare at the moment..winging, clingy and crying and then not sleeping properly with her sister then i have to go in there...then DD4 wetting the bed...argghhhhh and then the pregnancy..hb...im one KRANKY mumma.......I think ill be a bit a jeolous when they have there babies :)
Im eating at the moment sometimes and im not even sure if im hungry or if my body is just telling me too eat :) ...its not even that im craving junk food..i am just nibbling.....

School holidays are making me crazy! I love having my big girl home but its sooooooo busy!! So exhausted, just so tired!
Early nights don't happen as I just enjoy a bit of quiet so much I lose track of time.
The weight in first trimester is the worst, it gets away from you, second trimester you try and fix it, third trimester the baby gets huge so you don't know where you are at.
I don't mind how fat I get as long as baby healthy.
Endocrinologist tomorrow :) I need to up my meds for my diabetes insipidus its really driving me crazy. Basically my kidneys don't work so I'm always running to toilet and then bub squashing bladder makes worse :( I wonder if baby hormones make worse too.
-
Tic toc hold in there hope the next two weeks fly by.
Duchess good luck with school holidays winter sux
Mel hope you can manage hip pain not nice.
Me4 wow you're doing so well walking the dog still heartburn here too :( milk seems to work for now
Hi all
Me yesterday I went to hosp and was informed squirt is in the 95% so dr suggested a cs due to ds breaking his collar bone during delivery and this bubs is BIGGER! So not sure how I feel. I don't want to put bubs at risk or have an emergency cs, lots of thinking. I will be doing the big diabetes test fasting and two hours yuck, I don't think that's it but will follow instructions. Bubs is booting me all the time I love it but so distracting. A also getting a cold blah.

Morning everyone!
Duchess - no idea about 1st baby & weight gain was exactly my problem! I was young & thought woohoo! I'm going to get fat anyway so lets make the most of it. :wall: It took me along time to lose the weight but I put alot back on when I finally gave up smoking 5yrs ago. So my lifestyle & diet are definitely healthier but I'm heavier. Trying to snack on fruit & nuts to curb my continuous hunger lol
Melster - sorry to hear about your hips, is there someone you can see about them? And don't be hard on yourself for being a cranky mumma - it sounds like you have so much going on as well as growing a baby so you're bound to be stretched emotionally xxx
Me4ever - hope your hips are feeling better & having acupuncture has helped you to feel better. I've never been to one but my sil swears by hers.
Greenslw - wow, sounds like you have BIG bubbas! I hope you have access to a lot of information to help you with your decision.
AFM I'm feeling crampy the last few days, keep telling myself baby is growing & has to make room but it does have me a little bit concerned (but what's new? Lol). Am suspecting my backaches are being caused by my gall stones, hmmmmm. Will definitely be cutting out trigger foods if that's the case. I got put on elective surgery waiting list to have GB removed but decided to not put off TTC due to age & fertility issues etc & of course they rang a week after my bfp to give me a date for surgery. Bugger!
I told both my brothers & sil's last night about baby - am hurt by their lack of enthusiasm. One even went on to talk about their new car they're buying. Luckily my Dad is over the moon & was so excited when I told him on Sunday.
-
My friend had gallbladder removed about 16wks pregnant, scary but safe. I had mine removed on the same table as my c/s horrid.
Stressed to the max yesterday hopefully I can control it better today.
-
Drumroll... I've put on 6kg since I last saw my endocrinologist around 12 weeks before that I hadn't put on more than 1kg since before getting pregnant. She is happy with me so that's good except..... She's making so the GD test which was horrid last time! I fainted an vomited twice and had to go to hospital in an ambulance!! I had no issues with my eldest but that was before medical conditions. So instead of not taking my meds I am allowed to take my main one so fingers crossed I can handle it. But I'm now basically besties with the blood test lady so I'll be in good hands and bring a friend.
-
ticktoc sorry your family were so enthusiastic xx we're happy for you though x
Duchess hope all goes well with gd test xx
-
Gd test won't be for about 5 weeks so I have time to arrange a bloodtest buddy lol
Tictock -- people react to early pregnancy weird, hubby's family was kinda like that, some people I told around 10 weeks made me feel bad, like it was their turn or they always wished they had number three so they were put out I was... I felt like reminding them what I'd been through and what a miracle this bub was.
-
Things to add to my list of "strange things that happen when pregnant" - I no longer like the taste of pepper, have decided that I do like portello flavoured cordial for the first time in my life and had to resist the urge to eat chocolate at 6.30 this morning. Weird.
Duchess I had read about gallbladders being removed between 16 and 21 (?) wks but not sure what the process is. When the hospital rang to book my surgery they asked when baby was due and said they'd ring me back in February. Will have to mention it at next Dr appt. Lol about being friends with the blood test lady - I actually gave the pathology lady a cheery "see you next week" when I left on monday:rolleyes:
Kbudgie are you still on holiday? How is it going?
-
I Loooooooooove pepper & tomatoes lol
I love orange but they give shocking heartburn
