    Hey.

Yeah I'm out, defiantly not feeling to flash tho...not sure if its just normal pre labour or labour.. Runny poo's, nausea, pains, weeping, pressure, irritability, emotional, pains down below, headaches etc etc etc etc... Hopefully she stays in that bit longer. She is a 5th engaged apparently...

How are you feeling now Mel?

I'm off to the Gp for a check up tomorrow - have felt really "off" since Saturday, still haven't gained weight, my boobs have almost shrunk to pre pregnancy size & my belly is no longer prominent or as hard or high. There's been no noticeable movement/flutters either since last week. Then last night I went to a pregnancy physio class & was the only one who didn't have a noticeable belly bump. I actually felt my eyes ***** with tears & did cry when I got home.
DP refuses to be worried as everything things been ok so far but my anxiety is driving me nuts. I have a scan in two weeks but don't see the mw clinic for another four weeks so I need reassurance.

Ticktoc- Hope everything is ok. It's quite a normal time to worry as well.

AFM- Hip, hip, hooray! 36weeks today

Ticktoc - I hope all is well with little bub. Don't forget that they're really small still at the stage you're at and bub may have moved position to a spot where you can't feel the little one. Your GP might send you for an in between scan to give you ease of mind... Fingers crossed all's well. Will be stalking for news.

Thanks ladies, I want to cry ;( There's no one IRL that I can really talk too. I just feel so crappy.
I'm sure the GP will make me feel better & tell me to take time off work & recharge my batteries but I need proof that bub's still safe & sound.
I hate feeling like this, it's embarrassing

I'm 18wks tomorrow Mel & seeing the Gp tomorrow afternoon. Am actually going to take the day off work, I need to rest. There's a lady at work who has been on leave for the last 6 weeks & I'm hesitating telling her I'm pregnant, it just doesn't feel right.

Your little girl sounds stubborn, am sure she'll come when she's ready

Tictock- I hope your appointment goes well tomorrow.

Melster- I totally get the kid thing. I wanna scream at mine atm, not that it'd do any good lol.

AFM- Had my scan, bub is 2.9 (6lb4oz) and I forgot to ask about my cervix so will have to wait till Monday to find out what that was and totally sooking haha. She is VERY long going by u/s. Looking forwards to meeting her soon. 38days at absolute most until we meet 28 if on EDD and 12 if she comes on the day I picked :P

oh ticktoc xxxx don't be embarrassed hon, I have days where I am unsure bubs is ok. I blame the anterior placenta as it restricted what I can feel. fx you can get some reassurance tomorrow. When was last scan and when is next? anterior placenta was confirmed at morph scan for me and it took longer til I could feel anything. hubby had not felt bub yet but we did manage to get bub to move my little tablet when I had it on my tummy yesterday

Well, the stress train continues. I slept 12hrs last night then 2hrs this afternoon so the GP checked my blood test results from when I first fell pregnant & discovered I was low in iron back then - combine my fatigue with the breathlessness I'm experiencing & she's confident I have a deficiency & is worried about anaemia. My lack of weight gain, no movement & the fact my boobs are smaller & my jeans are becoming loose means that I get to have my morph scan on Friday due to the GP being concerned baby's not developing properly.
I had more BT's today & have a medical certificate for the rest of the week so I can rest.

DP seems to be taking it hard, he had tears in his eyes tonight when we talked about it. I'm just flat.
I didn't get to listen to bubs heartbeat as there was no doppler in the Dr's office.

Have decided that whatever happens this is my last pregnancy. I cannot handle to constant roller coaster of stress & worry.

Ticktoc - I really hope the scan goes well. I wish I were near you cos then I'd bring my doppler over. Was SO reassuring to be able to use it earlier in pregnancy when I couldn't feel bub or be able to provoke bub to move basically at my will. Good thing is, with deficiencies, you are mostly affected and all your reserves go to supporting the lil one. Good it is picked up now though as obviously it can still affect bub, sadly sometimes the body also goes into premature labour if it believes that it isn't able to sustain both Mum and bub enough. Have you started on iron supplements yet or does she want to wait till the results are in? When taking them, try to do so with vit-c and avoid dairy for an hour or so either side of taking it, that includes butter/milk/cream in mash if taking in the evening when eating your meat. Adding spring onion to the mash helps the taste and adding spinach helps with iron (I use frozen in lots of our cooking as lil man is at risk due to his allergies) oh and after a meal with iron, or even with iron tablets, a nice slice of orange is fantastic, helps absorb the iron into the body and aids digestion in general. I really hope that your little one makes it and is growing well, just hidden in there like lil Miss was.

Thanks damprye, I wish I could use your doppler too!
The doc told me to take the tablets in the morning with orange juice but I didn't really understand the reasoning behind taking them together so thank you for clarifying. So now I'm on iron, vit D, fish oil & elevate (?) - glad I'm not someone who struggles to swallow tablets. Will start the iron tomorrow, she has given me a script for Ferro-tab 350mg (or was it 310mg?) but I've just found some Ferro-tab 200mg in the cupboard so should I take two 200mg & save some money or get the ones she's written out?

I'm sure everything will be ok, just another stress of being a mother/parent.

It depends on how old they are. Over a year old or past use by date (should say which to use on the pack), don't use them, otherwise go ahead I was on those and have some in my cupboard still lol. I do a clean out and pharmacy run every 6ish months to dispose of old medicines.

I had another look & they're still within date but I realised the ones the doc wants me to have are Ferro-f-tab, F for folate so I'll be compliant & fill the script.

In so much pain today, I've been crying off and on most the day. My poor pelvis/hips/back/vagina/bottom/belly. Been getting BH/CTX since 11am and slept on the couch last night (after I came down to pee and couldn't get back upstairs). I *want* this to be it because of the pain but I'm not ready.
