WTH hope you're feeling better soon.

Josh'smum how exciting for first OB app I can't imagine what pg would be like with a 2.5 year old. Tired thinking about it.

MeredithD sorry about no 4 d scan. I'm so happy you baught a wig, Good to look after yourself you are the most important person.

Pash cool info re Men and hormon levels. Funny DF is off "special cuddles" and I'm totally chaising.

HannahD good Idea to clean out first, I'm thinking the same thing, but it's hard not to spend.

HI megsmum glad all is going well with Emma

I'm sorry for you loss Emmy

Esha, so envious of one more day of work. Hope more rest = lower BP

Human Bean I think my dark cloud left around 12 weeks, not long to go. Glad OB went well.

zstar I'm glad you're spots are easing off and blood test came back possitive.

Hope it is ok for me to indulge in a "me" post...

Happy to say the sinus has subsided, but I still have a nasty cough as a hangover from the heavy cold. I saw my ob yesterday. The baby is doing well - HB 145 bpm, good visible level of amniotic fluid and excellent cord flow. I have gained good weight and have nice BP.

But.... it would seem that bubs is low - very low. I have been told the baby will almost certainly come early and to pack my bags "NOW". Was not told when I might go into labour, though I have a growth-scan in two weeks time.

Panic-stations for DH and I. We had not dared get too ahead of ourselves with this PG - with our MC history it felt like we were tempting fate. So we are a bit unorganised (though of course there is less to do this time around than when I was PG with DD).

So I am now facing the knowledge I will now almost certainly be having an emergency CS, rather than making it to the elective CS. A friend of mine just had her first elective CS after two prior emergency CS. She said she couldn't believe how much better the recovery was. The other hard part is the idea that baby is quite possibly starting out with NICU. I'm just I get to 34 weeks so I can have the baby where I live.

The other thing is I just can't stop coughing. I really want this cough to go as it would not help my stitches, etc after a CS. Being so low, it may also break my waters or bring on contractions. Had super-strong BH yesterday, but not so bad today.

Sorry to ramble - just trying to wrap my head around this bombshell. Could be worse, like I said, bubs and I are doing fine. I just thought I had a bit more time up my sleeve.

    WTH x

Where's the hope -Hi my friend ... I was lurking hun and read your post. I was suffering last week with a cough and infection that would clear a room, and was really worried it was going to affect this cycle, I know hun, it's completly different to your situation, however I went to accupuncture, I layed on my tummy, hard for you to do,so you may need to sit up or something, I had needles put in the back of my neck, was rubbed with a gorgeous concoction of smelling things, and had some cupping to move the cough from my lungs, and did it work, TCM therapist said I would feel better that night, I did. Over the last 3 days I am left with a small amount of residual coughing, not the chest rattling cough I had earlier. HTH xx

    Hi to everyone

HI ladies. Just managing to check in again

WTH - Things just are not meant to be simple for some of us eh?! Good news that everything well with you and bubs but I can understand the panic at thinking you could have a premmie baby. I am still not really prepared for that even though we have been "warned" for months. Just wondering though, why does just have a "low" baby mean you could go any second? My DS was really low and I had him at 39weeks. This baby also low but have never been told that this fact alone could mean an early labour. Its been all about my other issues. I'm not trying to second guess your OB, just thought some babies were positioned naturally very low without it actually "meaning" anything.
Anyway, am praying your little one hangs in there for several weeks yet.... need some more cooking little one!
It was me who mentioned acupuncture - I hope you can get in soon and get some help for that cough

Emmy - I am so sorry to hear your news. Its just not fair to go through m/c again. My heart breaks for you and I hope you are getting the support you need

zstar - yay at good BT result and hope that discharge stays away. I have bled heavily in every one of my pgs, successful or not so it often doesn't mean anything really

megsmum - WOW what a quick arrival for little Emma... lucky you made it to the hospy! I am so happy for you and your family and hope you are enjoying every moment

Josh'smum - hope that m/s eases off in the coming weeks

Easha - hope you are resting up and keeping that BP down

Chappas - hope your baby turns soon. YOu wouldn't consider a vaginal delivery even if still breech? I had to change OBs but my DS came out bottom first the "natural" route with no probs at all.

greenslw - so glad things going well for you atm and you can enjoy the double joy of engagement and pg. A very special time for you and DF!

AFM - having growth scan/checking fluid levels tomorrow so hoping all at least ok to hold us out for a few more weeks yet. I really don't think baby is small given how much I have popped out so not overly worried at this stage. Like WTH, i am totally not prepared if she did decided to come early. I know I have had plenty of warning but haven't even thought about packing bags etc

Meredith - Thanks for the reassurance. My Ob said it all depends on what my cervix is doing, and he couldn't manage to see that on his monitor this time. As you know, I had cervical monitoring (due to previous 3rd & 4th degree tearing and multiple D&C's) until 24 weeks and all was ok then. He actually also commented on bubs being low at my last visit two weeks back, but he did not seem as concerned then. He told me when it is this low that (in his experience) babies come early, though there can be exceptions to the rule. Maybe I am just worrying about nothing . BTW GL with the scan

WTH glad your nose is betta

    MeredithD goodluck for tomorrow.

Feeling flat today. I have a employee who is going threw a personal crisis and wont tell me anything I know only 3rd hand. and she's not doing her job, so now I'm forced to confront her. I don't want to be a serious boss. It's not me!

Been feeling the baby heaps but can't sleep, uncomfortable to the max. I guess it doesn't get any better either

So my scan monday was going to be solo but I LOVE MY MUM she's comming cos DF is working. Would prefer DF but mum is a close second. much happier than before when I thought I was going Solo. 20wk scan is a little nerve racking.

Ok I'm a little ditzy today hope all the mum to be's are doing great.
