Hi girls. I haven't posted on BB for awhile and I hope you don't mind me joining in on this thread. I have followed some of your posts and the support and advice you give eachother is wonderful. Just quickly, I am nearly 26 weeks pregnant, having previously had 2 miscarriages. I also have a DS who is 3 years old.

TinaR- I wish you all the luck with this pregnancy. I know and understand your fears and concerns well. I found out I was pregnant this time around at 4 weeks, and have had tummy cramps and backache on and off for most of the way through so far. The early weeks were very scary, as I always associate this type of pain with a miscarriage.
Although this pregnancy has been more worrying and stressful, I have had alot of reassurance from my obstetrician and midwives. Also, having regular ultrasounds has deinatley put my mind at ease. I wanted to let you know that these types of pain can be absolutley normal.I hope everything goes well for you. It sounds as if you have a wonderful supportive midwife to talk to.
