babymiracles - I'm going through the WCH midwifery clinic. Glad you had a great baby shower and got lots of pressies for bubs.
zstar - Goodluck for the nuchal scan today. Keep us posted.
josh'smum - Sorry (& glad, IYKWIM) you are feeling sick. I remember how reassuring it was, but it was so tiring. Take care of yourself, you're almost through the 1st tri. I think babymiracles is on to something with our attitude to sun protection causing vitamin D deficiency. Sunscreen does interfere with production since it blocks UV light. Our skin needs to be exposed to the sun to get the full benefit (but I think 10 minutes a day is all we need under normal circumstances, unless there is some medical condition as WTH described). Glad your doc is on to it though.
kath - Hi belly buddy! Looks like our baby girls are both due on the same day.
WTH - It looks like things are happening. How exciting! you make it to Saturday.
AFM - The sh*t has hit the fan at work. I walked in yesterday to find my co-worker's desk empty and a card & email that said goodbye. He and I were the only ones responsible for statistical analysis. There is a third position, but the person filling that starts the week after I leave and even if we find a replacement for me, they won't be starting until after I leave either. The executive manager also does analysis, but he is a full-time clinician as well so its too much for him to be entirely responsible for picking up uncompleted projects as well as induct two new staff. I'm so frustrated. I'm feeling so overwhelmed with preparing for the baby so finishing at 34 weeks sounds really, really good to me now. But I don't want to leave work in the lurch as they've been so good to me. Sorry for the rant. I'm just so sick of going back and forth over this.
