WTH - Will do my best to send you a note today but have everything crossed for you to make it to 36 weeks. I definitely recommend the cushy hospital, my time in private hospy with Emma was heaps better than the public i had DD1 in!
babymiracles - Glad the move went well and that you had a nice baby shower. Not long left for you now! Sorry I can't help with the Strep B either, I was neg for it.
mrzbaby - Welcome! You are in a good spot where everyone understands your worry, and wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy. I also had an anterior placenta and felt some flutters at 14 - 15 weeks, so you may be feeling bub. I had definite movements though by 18 wks.

Hi ladies - have been away for 6 weeks - but couldn't pop in and not wish Meredith all the very best for the upcoming birth of Upsy - I've followed your journey too, and like most of us in here, it's been long and hard - so I'm thrilled you are about to meet your new bub - and will be stalking you!!! I've been speed reading to try to catch up and have missed heaps.
I've been MIA thanks to house hunting, and now we're trying to get a loan, roll up the year for our business, organise settlement, plan renovations, furnish enough to be able to accomodate our family over Christmas, plan Christmas (including getting presents for everyone). All this has to happen in the next 10 weeks, or sooner if bubs comes sooner.
As if I didn't have enough on my plate, work just got more busy, I'm anaemic and may have gestational diabetes. I do the GTT with fasting next week. So that makes me worry that monkey might come early.
But despite all the stress, I'm still blissfully happy. I love feeling monkey squirm about inside me, and am really going to miss being preggers when all this is over. I think I might be the sort of mum who never wants to put the baby down.
I'm sorry I haven't absorbed everyone's posts. Hope you're all well and belly rubs all round.
I read someone's daughter (Megsmum?) may have had swine flu. Hope you and your daughter are doing better.
megsmum - Your birth story is amazing! Already you have something for your speech when Emma turns 21.
Bimboo - Welcome and congratulations on your twins! I am sorry for the loss of their sibling. Feel free to discuss any concerns here. This IS the place for it. The ladies here are wonderful. There's not much I can say to ease the anxiety. All any of us can do is take it one day at a time. It won't be long now and you'll be feeling regular movements. Some of the ladies here have invested in dopplers to help them through. I wish you all the best.
pash - Wow you're brave hosting Christmas this year! Goodluck with the GTT next week, I hope it comes back negative so that's one less thing for your to worry about. You certainly have a lot on your plate at the moment. I hope your finding time to rest.

AFM - Just got back from having blood drawn for my OGCT. I'll get the results tomorrow. I'm so over the work thing now. I'm going to finish up at the end of October and enjoy my time at home to focus of getting ready for my baby girl's arrival. I need to accept that I am not responsible for everyone and everything. They've known since June that I'll be leaving so there's no need for me to feel guilty over someone else quitting suddenly.
i had my nt scan yesterday and got my combined results today. they came back with adjusted risk of downes 1:737 which put me at low risk. however, my nuchal reading was 2.77mm which puts me over the 95% mark. Ob has suggested i have amneo at 15 weeks. dh is in perth til saturday so i don't want to tell him over the phone. i wouldn't terminate if it does have downes but i think we would both want to be prepared if it did and not get the shock at the birth. i have googled stuff this morning and sooo many girls with readings over 3 & 4mm have gone on to have healthy babies. i wish i didn't have the test to start with. ob said risk of m/c with amneo could be 1:1000 because of me having at 15 weeks and not later. he said everything should or could be ok. can't remember which word now. was in shock. dh and i see him on monday to get referral for amneo. i just think it would do my head in not knowing now and i want to enjoy my pg either way and not be wondering all the time. my gut feeling is that it is truely all ok. it was amazing to see its arms and legs. it had the hiccups. it was hilarious. i feel fully bonded with my baby after yesterday.
i guess some of us just have a bit of a rocky road to the end prize compared to some.

the gift of a healthy child is something to be treasured.
Zstar - I had CVS testing at 11 weeks and 2 days as my Ob picked up nuchal fluid at a 9 week scan in his office. It was confirmed at the specialist ultrasound place, I think the fluid was 3.3. I didn even have the nuchal scan as the fluid was so obvious. I was told it was an indicator of a chromosonal prob and it could have been a fatal trisomy, however, the CVS tests all came back normal and the fluid had completely resolved by 19 weeks. I have been tld now that we will never know why bubs had such a high reading. They checked her heart out very carefully too on multiple specialist scans and as you can see I am due in a few short weeks. Really hope you get some answers soon as I know the wait can be awful. Ask to speak to a geneticist as this really helped me understand things!
I finished up at work yesterday, was very werid knowing I won't be going back for at least a year and even then only part time. But Im very excited to start this new phase of my life!!!!

Baby miracles - I've been getting the same pains your describing, and like you just want to meet my baby! Good to see your happily set up in your new home.
HannahD - I have had lots of period pain like cramps that have come and gone too, hope they stop for you soon as very uncomfortable.
Juleswa - It is lovely you have come to join this thread, I remember you from the other thread too, I hope you see good rises in HCG levels, I TOTALLY understand how anxious you are feeling at this time.
