Mrs Hendo - Good luck, I hope that bub is a sticky one for you!

WTH - I do agree.. I was starting to think it was happening for me because starting last night, I had the most horrible pains - the thing that made me realise that it wasn't happening just yet is that they weren't regular... Well, they were regular, but they weren't iykwim. I'd have pain for about half an hour, then it would stop for 20 minutes then go again for another 20, then stop for an hour etc etc... It was horrible!

to everyone else - Had my Obs appt - he said everything is going well, now it's just the waiting for the bub to be here! Head is down, but not engaged just yet - and if I keep having the back and stomach pains, take Panadeine.. If it doesn't get any better, just to go to the hospital

    Hi guys..

Just wondering if light cramping is ok.... I feel a little bit like my period is coming on. But not really intense cramping or anything. Is this normal.. I have never experienced a little cramping before without it leading to a miscarriage.

Mrs Hendo, I have had loads of cramping with this preg, particularly the first 8 weeks or so. I think (from what others have told me) that it's to do with the uterus expanding and everything starting to move around and settle into the pregnancy. Ironically, when I miscarried earlier this year, I had no cramping and no idea that anything was wrong until I woke up covered in blood, the cramping didn't start until after the bleeding. Retrospectively, 'something' felt wrong but I still couldn't pin point it if asked. The cliche is applicable (but annoying to hear I know!), try to stay calm and not to stress. for a happy, fun, life changing pregnancy for you

Hi everyone, is it okay if I join this thread?

I had a miscarriage last cycle at around 7 weeks, it was my first pregnancy and I was lucky enough to conceive the first month trying. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be and it was really one of the most difficult things I have ever been through. I really leant on the women on BellyBelly to help me get through. Last Wednesday I POAS and got 2 lines but had some spotting. The Dr took my levels then and again on Monday and it is increasing. Unfortunately, I am still spotting but the Dr said that the pregnancy look "viable" and sometimes bleeding does occur so I am tentatively posting in this thread.

I am going to go back and read through this thread and learn your names. I look forward to getting to know you all better.

Welcome Starangelk!!! I haven't been on this forum that long myself but everyone has been so welcoming and friendly and given great advice.

I really hope you have a H& H pregnancy and praying lots of sticky vibes for your bubs!! I am in the same situation. my preg hormone is showing at 46 on tues. I have to go back today to have it checked again to make sure it is increasing.

Smallfryplus - thanks so much for the encouraging words, my cramping is gone now.

    Hi,

I haven't posted in here for a while...been just chilling and trying to enjoy being preg.
Half the ladies have had thier bubs - CONGRATS!!! I can't wait to be one of you.

    Hi to the new ladies.

Strangelk - I have seen your journey in the ttc thread as I still lurk occasionally to keep an eye on those that were there for me during my time of need. It was great to see your post about your +ve poas! sending sticky vibes your way.

AFM: Well, I made it to the 8 week mark which in itself is a big achievement. Had bhcg done Monday cause I have had 4 friends this week who have lost bubs at around same date as me...was over 100,000 I think this just may be the bub I get to have and hold and love forever!

I'll go back later and read to catch up with everyone, its hard being involved in a couple of threads lol

Lizjessie, with both my dd I had BH for a week prior to giving birth. I was induced with dd2 because i had BH ALL night every night 15 minutes apart for a week (of course it would stop first thing in the morning!) and was exhausted when I then picked up the flu so I went to my ob and begged him to induce, I think I was about a week late by then but can't remember as it was all so exhausting and foggy! Good luck with yours! (ps my DD1 is 18/10!!)

Mrs Hendo, great news re your blood work! Congratulations!!

Go team!! lol can't wait to see some announcements It's always so exciting!
