hi all. I've been AWOL for a while now, not posting, but lurking. Sorry if I don't get to everyone

Greenslw - congrats on the birth of Lincoln. You must be over the moon

LittleOnes - when is bub due again?

Karen Van - you wrote a post a wile ago I forgot to thank you for. It was very helpful whilst I was having a freak out

Chuckie/eliselouise - great news about the scans

Dory - glad the bleeding's stopped

Sunny - that nurse needs a damn good slapping for scaring you like that

I hope everyone else is well

AFM. I'm counting down to the NT scan on Friday morning. I am absolutely petrified of not seeing a hb again. Or getting a bad result/ false positive. I've been poking my abdomen trying to find a fundus but I have no idea what I'm doing, so am giving up for now. It's weird to think there may be a little creature in side my bouncing around but I can't feel it. Anyway, I don't want to concentrate on bad things happening but I'm also trying to prepare myself for the worst...not sure how to do one without the other....Take care all

greenslw - good to see you back in here Congrats again on little Lincoln!

karen van - liking the sound of your photos by the way. I neglected to mention that earlier. My sis wanted to do some like that for me but I'm too chicken!

tash - bubs is due two weeks tomorrow - 23rd. I'm sure your NT scan will go beautifully on Friday morning. It will be an exciting and relieving time for you. I've also tried to find fundus but it's totally beyond my knowledge! I only recently found out that they want the measurement to be around th same number of weeks preg you are for it to be normal growth. Always wondered how they knew if it was good or not!!

AFM Ob did an internal this morning and found that my cervix is very firmly sealed shut and absolutely not getting ready to let go. She is quite happy to induce me on due date though so that's a great piece of news.

    Hello Ladies,

Bonham- Are these your first blood tests babe, did they do any before your previous scan?

Sparlkles- so sorry I missed your post last week. Congratulations on the BFP sending you heaps of

Milly- how you doing have not heard from you for a few days?

Littlones- so glad you got your induction date that you were hoping for

AFM- Tashybabe I'm with you. I am doing okay most days but feeling a bit stressed today. It's just so hard to be at this stage, you have no bump no kicking all you can do is hope everything is okay in there. It seems like years between blood tests and like forever before my first scan. I don't want to wish my pregnancy away but I just want to skip to where I don't feel so damn scared.

Sunbeam: these were the 1st bloods i've had taken for this pregnancy, i didnt have any taken before i had the ultrasound last week. Why i dont know, considering the dr i see was the same dr that did my D&C in November last year. Hope your doing well oh well thinking i'll have a 2nd blood test done on Thursday when i go into town again.

hi girls, not sure when this new thread started or how much I've missed but "hello" to everyone

sunbeam I kinda feel like I"m wishing the pg away too but I just can't wait for the 1st tri to be over.

tashybabe good luck at that NT scan!

LittleOnes AKA SFP not long to go now!

Bonham I thought they would test your HCG 2 days in a row to see if it's dropping? I am no expert though...?

I have started to relax a 'little' I can see the light at the end of the tunnel as it's only another 3 weeks till we get the 'all clear'

    Hope everyone is well

Bonham - When do you get the results of your blood test you had today? Thursday will be a good gap to clearly see what is happening. I have my next test on thursday too so I'll be stressing with you.

Cherished- so glad that you are so near to feeling safer with this pg.

    Hello lovelies,

Well MS kicked in this morning only neausea though have not actually started throwing up (it's kind of wierd feeling happy about feeling sick hu?). Had to make a mad dash to the shop for a bottle of ginger beer, will get the Blackmores MS tablets when I can get to a chemist.

I was chuckling to myself this morning. I wake up and the first thing I do is check that I still have my pg boobies. I was laughing that at 38weeks I'll be waddling to the loo for the 10th time that night remembering how I use to have to check my boobs to reassure myself I was pg

    Have a good day everyone.

Hi Twinsiter sorry you are having computer difficulties, very frustrating.

Just a quick question. Has anyone here been on Vitex if so have you been given advice as to whether to continue it or stop it when you fall pregnant? I'm really confused. I've been on it for ages and it has definitley helped. My doctor told me to continue it for the first 3 months but the internet information is very contradictory

sunbeam - yay for morning sickness! Hope it gets just severe enough to remind you each day that you're UTD and not so severe that it makes it impossible to relax! Sometimes supermarkets have the blackmores MS tabs too. Can't help with vitex from personal experience but I have heard people say that you shouldn't take it once you are pg.

twinsis - good luck with your computer luv, they can suck... I spent years on computer support help desks and sometimes they're really impossible things!

AFM - another day of horrid heat and tomorrow won't be much better. Next time I will absolutey not TTC during months that will result in a late summer/autumn baby!!! I don't care if that means it will take me an extra year to conceive the next baby! This one has found my cervix from the inside and my goodness, the pain is far worse than any contractions I remember experiencing. I just don't know how to relax through it and reduce the pain.
Bring on tomorrow anyway - I'm going to my favourite restaurant for lunch with a girlfriend woohoo!

I am sooo scared right now. When i went to the loo before bed last night i had brown blood (definately old brown no tinge of pink/red) and it is still just there this morning. I did not have this with my angel baby and i know they say old blood is fine but i'm SCARED!! Do you think i should call my doctor and leave a message for her?? I feel a bit silly cause theres probably nothing they can do either way but maybe she will want to test HCG or move my scan forward from next monday? Advice ladies?? This is awful and all i can think about is the worst outcome xx

Sparkles hon I can see why you are scared but you are right, brown blood is very common (even red blood is) but the brown blood is generally nothing to worry about if you are concerned, which you are, surely your dr can at least test your HCG today and than again tomorrow or the next day to make sure it is rising, if it gets worse than you can also have a scan to ease your mind.

Sunbeam YAY for MS even if it's mild and I'm always checking my boobies too heheh Sorry I can't help with your Vitex question

Twin Sister great to hear from you, give us an update when you can

LittleONes sos orry you are in pain hon and imagine the heat is unbearable! Hang in there, not long now.

AFM my ms is 'very' mild, I really only feel tired but not so much that I cna't function and my boobs are still sore and I only feel mildly sick from time to time, so I think I'm jsut a lucky one and can stop worrying that something is wrong... Today I am 10 weeks 1 Day WOOHOOO 2 weeks until the NT Scan YAY

sparkles - I'm with cherished, if it sets your mind at ease, give your doc a call as it's better for bub if you're relaxed.

cherished - you're one lucky woman with mild ms!
