Well MS kicked in this morning only neausea though have not actually started throwing up (it's kind of wierd feeling happy about feeling sick hu?). Had to make a mad dash to the shop for a bottle of ginger beer, will get the Blackmores MS tablets when I can get to a chemist.
I was chuckling to myself this morning. I wake up and the first thing I do is check that I still have my pg boobies. I was laughing that at 38weeks I'll be waddling to the loo for the 10th time that night remembering how I use to have to check my boobs to reassure myself I was pg
Hi everyone. Just popping into say hi. Glad to read good news all around. My computers being stubborn and slow and I'm not up to trying to post when it's like this. Talk to you all soon!
Hi Twinsiter sorry you are having computer difficulties, very frustrating.
Just a quick question. Has anyone here been on Vitex if so have you been given advice as to whether to continue it or stop it when you fall pregnant? I'm really confused. I've been on it for ages and it has definitley helped. My doctor told me to continue it for the first 3 months but the internet information is very contradictory
Sweeting I am so sorry - it is so hard - but you have found the things to consider successes and positives in terms of what they aren't so congrats for being such an amazing woman. I had to change my post as I had replied to an earlier one and my response was no longer relevant. Love the strength you have - it will be there to love your forever baby.
Much love

: Needed to alter post due to change in situation
We are such sisters under the skin Tashybabe - you should see the things my dentist says about the impact of my brain vortexing on my teeth - I can grind better than any skateboarder
The best thing about pg and babies - it teaches you that control is a carefully fostered illusion and that the sooner we learn to embrace that concept the better!!!! The great thing about sleep deprivation is that the exhaustion lets you sleep soundly beyond your imagining - see it all works out in the end...
Eventually too - those pg hormones will get you and they do a great job of making all the edges fuzzy and the brain.. the brain.. the brain.. yeah, like that... That's their job!!!
LittleOnes - hope everything goes well with the induction and your birth - got the good vibes going for you and your little one!
Much love to everyone - Cherished1, Sunny09, Tanya and our other wonderful women - trying to get ready for the National Day of Action for birth choices on Thursday - banners, banners - got to keep the good fight going!
Smallfry - Glad to hear they have decided to induce you if your BP is still creeping up. I bet by now you have had your little one and I hope everything went smoothly. Can't wait to see you back and hear how everything went.
Tashy - there is no may, you WILL have a little one in 6 months . I remember being really nervous when I was PG with DS but once he was there all my fears dissolved. You learn as you go and you do manage to cope with little sleep. You'll figure it all out and you'll do a wonderful job.
Sparkles - ugh how frustrating that the spotting continues. Your scan last week went well though so keep thinking about that and try to stay positive. I hope your next appt can put your mind at ease.
I am finally resting a bit at ease today. Even though I've been feeling sick I've been worrying too. I can't help it. This morning I was so dizzy and shaky I was extra worried. I had an appt scheduled for today though, and even though it was a bit rushed (he was over an hour behind in his appts) he measured me, weighed me (went down a pound since last visit, oops), and we heard the baby's heartbeat and told me everything was looking great. It was such a relief! I came home and had a nap and am feeling much better now.
Well ladies, it looks like my fears have been founded.
I started bleeding this morning and it has gotten quite heavy. So I think I may be leaving this thread.
Not sure if we are going to try again. 4 miscarriages throws you and you have to start to wonder if it is worth it all (I know it is, but at the moment, not so sure).
Hope you all have wonderful pregnancies and you never know, I may be back!
sunbeam - yay for morning sickness! Hope it gets just severe enough to remind you each day that you're UTD and not so severe that it makes it impossible to relax! Sometimes supermarkets have the blackmores MS tabs too. Can't help with vitex from personal experience but I have heard people say that you shouldn't take it once you are pg.
twinsis - good luck with your computer luv, they can suck... I spent years on computer support help desks and sometimes they're really impossible things!
AFM - another day of horrid heat and tomorrow won't be much better. Next time I will absolutey not TTC during months that will result in a late summer/autumn baby!!! I don't care if that means it will take me an extra year to conceive the next baby! This one has found my cervix from the inside and my goodness, the pain is far worse than any contractions I remember experiencing. I just don't know how to relax through it and reduce the pain.
Bring on tomorrow anyway - I'm going to my favourite restaurant for lunch with a girlfriend woohoo!
I am sooo scared right now. When i went to the loo before bed last night i had brown blood (definately old brown no tinge of pink/red) and it is still just there this morning. I did not have this with my angel baby and i know they say old blood is fine but i'm SCARED!! Do you think i should call my doctor and leave a message for her?? I feel a bit silly cause theres probably nothing they can do either way but maybe she will want to test HCG or move my scan forward from next monday? Advice ladies?? This is awful and all i can think about is the worst outcome xx
Sparkles hon I can see why you are scared but you are right, brown blood is very common (even red blood is) but the brown blood is generally nothing to worry about if you are concerned, which you are, surely your dr can at least test your HCG today and than again tomorrow or the next day to make sure it is rising, if it gets worse than you can also have a scan to ease your mind.
Sunbeam YAY for MS even if it's mild and I'm always checking my boobies too heheh Sorry I can't help with your Vitex question
Twin Sister great to hear from you, give us an update when you can
LittleONes sos orry you are in pain hon and imagine the heat is unbearable! Hang in there, not long now.
AFM my ms is 'very' mild, I really only feel tired but not so much that I cna't function and my boobs are still sore and I only feel mildly sick from time to time, so I think I'm jsut a lucky one and can stop worrying that something is wrong... Today I am 10 weeks 1 Day WOOHOOO 2 weeks until the NT Scan YAY
Update - called my doc and as i thought she's off today so i still left a msg as she's often in on her days off or will call me tomoro. It's getting better for now so unless it gets worse i'll leave it till tomoro, if it gets worse i'll call the hospital. But i was thinking, i did yoga for the first time yesterday since preganant(teacher did yoga through her entire pregnancys so knows how to be careful etc) but maybe thats what caused it?? Fingers crossed that is all.
Sorry i havent posted in a few days. I finally got my blood test results this morning my HCG levels from the blood test i had on Monday were 47,000, the lady said according to their scale i'm 1-2months, i'll have another blood test done tomorrow when i go into town. And then have a scan done sometime next week.
Sparkles: Hope you’re feeling a bit better now. I still check the toilet paper every now and then to see if there’s anything on it... Keep smiling try to relax remember you’re pg!!
BonHam: Great HCG levels, I had mine levels done last week and they 32,000 which works out about right for our bubs – Good luck with your scan
Sunbeam: YAY on the chuck honey! I tend to have a build up sensation before I throw up, it gives me about 5min warning, just in time to run from my classroom to the bathroom... Thankfully I work with another woman who knows, she’s very understanding of my sudden disappearances lol
LittleOnes: Not long now, hope the weather isn’t too hot for you and bubs.
AFM: Today we discovered that not only do I get DSL but my wonderful DF has started too – poor thing had to take the day off work he was so sick – I didn’t believe him at first, but when he called to tell me he had starting getting cravings for Chocolate, Lemonade and Ice Cream I knew something was up.. This man can’t stand to finish a Macca’s cone coz it’s too sweet for him... On the upside today is the first day I didn’t throw up, so lets hope I can pass my ms onto him.. Does that sound too mean??
Hi everyone, i am new to BB. I had a miscarriage February 6, 2010 @ 7-8weeks. It was so devastating. My beautiful hubby and I are trying again, I believe I am just at the end of ovulation now, so we will know in the next couple of weeks. Had what seemed like a really long o cycle though so not sure when AF is due.
I just wanted to join in as even though i am not sure I am even pregnant yet , I'm a little nervous already. i have been reading this thread for a while and feel comfortable here.
Good luck and baby dust to all
Thanks for having me.
xxxx
Sparkles- So glad it has settled down. I'd definitely go get a scan it will likely be the only thing that will put your mind at rest but be assures old blood is super common.
Bonham- that sounds like a great level with the Hcg We both have blood tests
tomorrow.
Cherished- Whooo 10 weeks that's awesome
AFM- Well I actually threw up this morning, that is my first ever chuck from MS. It seems ridiculous to be so happy about being sick I'm really hoping its a good sign for tomorrows blood test. What surprised me was how little warning I got I was only nauseous for about 20 seconds before I had to pull over and throw up. I went straight to the chemist for the MS tablets.
bonham - those bloods sound good! Keep it up and you'll have a beautiful bundle of cuddles and squirms at the end of it all
sparkles - don't know if yoga could do it or not but it's always possible that the exercises and breathing etc. could clear out some old blood that's hanging around. There are specific pregnancy yoga classes available most places as well which could be worth investigating.
greenslw - thanks for posting the link to your birth story. A truly amazing experience and I'm so pleased that it all went well for you
sunbeam! Congrats on your first upchuck!!! Hope there are many more to come! I'm sure tomorrow's blood test will be a great result, make sure you confirm that with us though! lol
