Cherished - I have afternoon naps when DS sleeps and then b 89:30 I'm ready for bed, so I hear you on the need for sleep. Have fun on your romantic week-end. We have no plans here.
HPL - I still check the toilet paper too though it's become obsessive for me. I check it EVERY single time I go to the loo. I can't stop myself. I'm hoping after my next U/S I'll be able to stop worrying so much. Sorry to hear both you and Dh have MS.
Bonhom - your bloods sounds great, i hope your next set is way up and you can finally stop worrying and wondering what the heck is going on. Fingers and toes crossed for more good results. The nausea (though crummy) is also a good sign.
Sunbeam - yay on chucking. Not fun but at least its reassuring.
Sparkles - Hope the spotting has stopped completely by now. I have had bleeding in both my pregnancies that turned out to be nothing so I hope yours is nothing too.
Smallfry - hope baby stops dancing on your cervix soon and that you have a nice lunch out with the girls.
AFM - Well 17 weeks and still feeling crummy. I'm functional but I constantly feel like I'm going to gag or start retching. The only time I don't feel like this is when I'm stuffed full of food and then I feel gross for being too full. I can't win LOL. I'm showing a little bit in the right clothes but I really feel it. The pressure on my bladder is horrible already and my stomach feels so heavy, and tired and stretched. The only way I'm comfy sleeping is on my back but i know I'm not supposed to so I spend all night tossing a turning form side to side trying to get comfortable and sleeping very little. Thankfully I'm still feeling excited through it all.
Thanks for asking cherished and everyone else
The joys of living in a small town, i have called the ultrasound lady and left a message to try and move my scan to tommorow instead of monday as we can only get them certain days without travelling hours. Have not heard back from doctor but who knows if she even got the message cause she's usually really good, if haven't heard anything by lunch will call again. Not much going on, no spotting so thats good, i am really worried of course but at the same time no one can stop nature taking it's (unbelievably frustrating) course if that is what is going to happen, so i'll hang tight and keep you all updated. Positive one minute, crying the next, i really wish i had a window in my tummy. Thanks for all the kind words and support!

Well its been a rough night. I was having a dull pain in my right side from 9pm last night. I was able to get to sleep but then woke at 11pm. My housemate saw my light on and when she saw me she insisted on taking me to the hospital. They took bloods and booked an ultra sound for this morning, so of course I had to stay in ( knew I should have packed a bag but at least i remembered my socks, I remembered how freezing it is in the ultra sound room!) Well the bloods came back good hcg now 1400 (doubling every 54 hours) but unfortunately nothing to see on the US ( the net says it is unlikely you will see much till hcg is 2000). I have been ordered to rest (so miss my best friends birthday up the Sunshine coast this weekend but I know she'll understand) and have bt again tomorrow and another scan with my Obst. on monday morning. I know they are worried about it being ectopic but from what I've read there is only a 1 in 100 chance of this and my hcg would not be doing as well as it is. I mentioned to my obst. could it just be that bub implanted late and is still too small to see yet and he said thats very possible so I'm sticking with this until I know other wise. This would also explain my low hcgs at the begining and which would suggest I'm about a week behind where I though I was.
Sorry for the all about me post but I just wanted to update before I jump in the shower and get all unhospitaly. I'll keep you updated.
Just a quick update - spoke to a nurse today, she was lovely, my ultrasound has been moved to tomorrow at 10.30am, don't know what to expect, so i'll let you all know. No more spotting, so fingers crossed for a positive outcome.
Just a quick post girls sorry for no persies just wanted to tell Sunbeam i had a similar experience at 8 weeks. Had a terrible sharp pain in my right side for about 4 or 5 days and one sunday at work it was that bad i couldnt even stand up. I went into emergency and the doctor thought it was eptopic and i was stressing about that too but the pain was caused from a cyst on my ovary which is quite common on the ovary you ovulated from. The cyst burst and had no pain since. Hopefully its a similar outcome for you, keeping everything crossed and thinking of you xo
Sparkles & Sunbeam - so far sounding good, I'm waiting anxiously for some really good news from both of you. Sending you both good thoughts and lots of sticky vibes.
