In the interest of being very positive, this is my first non TTC forum post since my BFP. Deep breaths! So BFP on 3/5 at 10 DPO, bloods were initially good but I had a bleed at 5 1/2 weeks which we've since discovered was the loss of a twin. Tiger (our cute lil fetus) had a heart rate of 120 at around 6.5 -7 = weeks, HCG was 84 000. I'm being vague with dates cos I had an early positive test, but that's common with twin pregnancies, and Tiger is measuring a couple of days behind my dates at this stage. Had a bit of brown blood last week, but no cramping or bleeding since then. Last HCG test was 105,000, so a slower rise, but that's consistent with the loss of a twin, and I'm around 8 weeks, and from what I've read HCG can slow down around then too. I'm actually really really worried, which is why I'm posting here, cos I wanted to do something positive to show that I have faith in myself, and in Tiger. I still have some killer symptoms, so that's a relief! Next scan is at 11 weeks, which seems like years away. I can't believe how scary this all still is, hanging out for 12 weeks!
Kitfaerie - I have been following this pregnancy of yours and you have really been doing it hard. I think you still have a lot of positive signs and I am crossing my fingers for you that everything stays good. I'm glad you came here as there are a few of us in the early stages that can support each other at this difficult time.
AFM - Just got the results of the last blood test and it is !9,300 so things are still looking ok there. I have had a tiny amount of brown spotting and my doctor was very non-committal about that. She said it could be a bad sign but nothing was definite. She wants me to have another blood test tomorrow to see if levels are still rising and then have a scan next Monday when I am 7 weeks. I still have a dull back ache that has been there almost 3 days now. She couldn't say wether that was a problem or not but it could be, then she apologised for not being more positive. This is such a stressful time. At least she didn't send me to the hospital for another AntiD injection. Being RHneg is a real pain.
