Erybery - its going to be a loooong 2nd half of these pg's but hopefully we all come out the other side vaguely sane!
Megsmum - yay on your little girl being fairly much confirmed and glad she is doing all the right things in there. Really not that long to go for you! Well done on buying something for her. Not sure when i will feel safe to go there.
Jen - congrats on the the arrival of your little bundle. Hope you are loving this time regardless of the lack of sleep
Dee - ewwwww gastro. You poor thing, what a scare. BUT so close now! You could go any day now ... how exciting
Karen - not long to finish work. At least then you will have even more time with DD
zachsmum - sorry about your flu. Evrybody is getting something atm. I hope you feel better very soon
WTH - yaay at CM staying "normal". Thanks for understanding my worries. I never had an "innocent" pg given 2 m/c's prior to DS but this pg is really doing my head ( and body) in. I hate wishing the weeks away. It could be my last pg and I would love to enjoy every moment but guess thats the price some of us have to pay. Here's hoping we both get well into the 30th weeks before the joy of holding healthy babies.
BTW, you are very restrained to have kept it a secret from DD for so long! My DS is only 2.5yrs but no way he could ignore my belly now. He also has to come with me to all my appts/ ultrasounds etc so would well and truly know even if we said nothing. He sadly knows far to much about scans etc!
Greenslw - Don't worry about lying re your pg. Don't tell until you are really ready. Its no one else's business
I've just been to the loo and when I wiped it was pretty wet but I didn't look at the tissue... On the last wipe I looked down and there was red blood on it I am so upset and in shock. I know people have bleeding and it is then fine... But again comparing it to last time I didn't have any bleeding, even after the fetus had died at 8 weeks... I didn't have the D&C until 4 weeks later and there was not spotting at all so I didn't expect to see anything this time even if there was something wrong. God I am just so upset I can't stop crying
Cherished - I'm sure you know what I'm going to say, but blood doesn't mean the end, several of us here are proof of that. But I know how scary it is Have you had any more BT's done at all? Can you have another one done today at all so you don't have to stress for the rest of the weekend?
I know this is not a lot of help but make sure you chase up your dr, or go to hospy and get them to see you OK? And take it easy too Will be that your little one is OK xo
Thanks Megsmum, I know it doesn't always mean the end but it is very scary I have an appointment to have a bt next wed. The blood started at 7:45 (when I saw it anyway) since then I have checked twice and am still wiping what is red/brown blood in more of an amount than spotting it's only just hitting my liner though and what I can see on the liner is brown so I guess it is still technically spotting rather than bleeding which is good. I have got ever so slightly cramps which aren't really painful. Can't see my OB (I don't think) and at $300 a pop I don't know if I want to go there just to be told there is a problem... If it's something bad than it's already started so I will know soon enough... Plus it's a public holiday on Monday so I can't even call, I'll just wait until the bt Wed and pray it is all ok I'm officially doing nothing now! I took my time and vacuumed than unpacked the dishwasher... Than I ducked down the street to pick out some movies and buy some chocie biscuts and now I will be on the couch until work on Tuesday, where I will sit on my bum again. I have at least stopped crying.
Megsmum - They certainly are cute with what they come out with, Matthew said to me on the way to preschool "Mummy we`ll have to buy the baby a birthday cake but he will not know how to blow the candles out so I`ll have to show him" That was just way too cute Yes the midwives did look after me well at NPH and Dr Lowe is just fabulous, I`m going into this c/sec knowing exactly what`s happening etc, such a lovely OB he is, wish I had gone to him right in the beginning with #1.
Cherised - hugs hun, I had bleeding with this bub from just under 5 weeks till 11 weeks, I came on a wekly basis and at times it was so heavy I was soaking pads, seeing blood is very scary but I hope all is well and bubs is tucked nicely in there.
Zachary`s mom - Sorry to hear you`ve had a bad case of the flu, rest up hun and I hope your much better really soon.
Karen - not long now till you finish up teaching.
Thank you girls
11 more sleeps to go I still have this head cold, making it so hard to sleep, now along with Matthew and myself Adrian is getting it, so glad baby boy is where he is atm although I`m getting so uncomfortable he`s in the best place away from these cold viruses we have in the house.
Oh Cherished that must be so scary for you, just wish you could see someone. Megsmum is right hope and that this is implantation spotting. You are doing the right thing taking it easy
Well I have just read through all the recent posts but dont have pen or paper and my memory is like a sieve at the moment. What I do remember is a few of you are having girsl - yaya girls clothes are so cute.
I also note a few of you are very close to popping so I pary all goes well for you
There also a few of you that aren't have the greatest of times at the moment - Cherish - Hang there - it will all work out.
Hugs all round
AFM - Saw the doc and all is going well - 25 weeks now. Bub is very active at the moment which is very cool. Still very tired and would love to go to bed now but would be awake in the wee hours of the morning. Took another belly shot this morning and I have certainly grown over the past 4 weeks - belly huge so I had to buy more clothes. Speak to you soon
Cherished Any bleeding is so scary. I know how you feel about not wanting to go to the ob. It's not like they can change the outcome at this stage anyway. Sounds like you're doing all the right things by taking it easy. I know you know this, but wanted to say it again anyway. Spotting doesn't mean it's all over. I had a really heavy, red bleed for 2 days, with clots as big as my palm, but things are still going ok. thinking of you and Tiger, and hope you don't have any more bleeding.
Congratulations Jenushka!! Well done and welcome to Lila!
Karen Van Just over 4 weeks till you finish work! How does DD feel about the little brother/sister on the way? How long did you wait till you told her?
Therese That does sound scary. Glad that you're feeling better and that bub is doing well.
Greenslw So you've had someone guess that you're UTD already! Bet that took you by surprise. Why will your exit from work be messy? I think mine will be messy too. I signed a contract to work there till the end of the year, but I'm due late in Nov, and HAVE to be there till my project finishes in end of Oct. I just hope bubs doesn't come a month early.
WTH Glad that you've had no more scary CM.
Meredith Maybe as you reach the 30s it will be easier to relax and enjoy your pg? Hang in there Upsy Daisy xo
Deejoy Very exciting! Do you think your little man is going to arrive early, late, on time-ish?
Lee Are you out there? I hope you're feeling better. I know your kids are probably keeping you busy too, but hope you can get on here soon and tell us how you're going. xo
AFM I was excited to buy my first maternity item yesterday. Elastic waist jeans! I was dreading this as a start to frumpy-mum-clothing, but elastic waist jeans are brilliant! I can't believe that PG women have been keeping this secret for so long! I don't understand why everyone doesn't wear them. Took all the pain out of jeans shopping, cos the first pair I tried on, fit! Sorry about being so excited about something so frivoulous.
Hello to anyone I missed. HOpe you're all having lovely weekends.
