Angelfish...its totally understandable you feel that way, im sure the ob will take good care of you. He might make you high risk maybe because of the scar..maybe have a look on the net for info...thinking of you. Hope you're handling things ok

Damprye...was he?...its eased up a bit today..i started using my long pillow while i sleep at night and it makes a little bit of difference..

Alish....CONGRATULATIONS im glad everything went well and things were good with the mother inlaw!!!!! I actually had all neutral colours even when i knew she was a girl....i bought all winnie the pooh and whites etc...but when she came out and i got the HE comments...i changed everything to pink and purple LOL and changed all her room and wasted heaps of money LOL...now she has every colour..and she suits everything except brown...its probably because i am light and she has dark skin and eyes and hair etc..

Cheshire...So there are a few who have had there babies engage early...i know she was down there at the 3d scan but i suppose that doesnt mean she will stay there...what were you hoping for a little boy or you dont mind...its so reassuring when you feel the movements and kicks

OMG....my heart burn is soooooooooooooooooooooooo painful...i take two losec tablets a day..and those chewie things and i still get hb...i have been waking in the night with vomit in my mouth...its so discusting..i think its the worst thing in pregnancy for me....i cant believe i only have a couple months to go...i am starting to really feel pregnant now so i am hoping it will go quick..i think once i hit next week it should sink in....i am still deciding between two girls names...i knew straight away with DD..i didnt even need books..this one i am struggling and go back and forth..

Alish - congrats on your pink bundle! I used to hate the idea of pink clothes too - but after my precious girl arrived I have become an addict to pink clothes. I am finally embracing my feminine side....

Belly rubs to all, just quickly from me today.

Melster- I'm in love with my belly pillow lol. The two girls names, is there any way you could use both, like one as first, one as second? I'm sure once she is born you will know exactly who she is

Alish- I think your lil girl is more likely to end up with your colours. Dark skin and dark eyes tend to dominate but she could still end up with your DH's eyes

Kellbell- Grr I hate it when the M/Ws put that pressure on. As long as bub isn't losing too much, he will be fine so just relax. It does take time. If there is still an issue after six weeks, then maybe consider it. All you can do is give it your best shot and do not let anyone pressure you either way. If you decide FF or formula top-ups is going to be better for him then do that but yeah, he is your bub and you will know what to do

Kell is he doing plenty of wet/dirty nappies?

Mrs S ummm not really sure could it be your plug repairing it's self?

Melster not really fussed another girl would be good, as i have clothes & plenty of girl stuff but a boy would be nice seeing as this is our last & i think DF would love to have a son that he can do boy things with as he gets older.

Heaps of wet nappies, he feeds well both sides, but still a touch of jaundice. Started some herbs the health nurse recommended to boost my supply. Hes a little guts so i dont get it that he hasnt put much weight on?

Kell if he has heaps of wet nappies & is alert and happy i wouldn't worry too much.
Some babies are just slow gainers. Kodi was 8lb born but was just a really slow gainer she ended up dropping to the 25% within a few weeks of being born & is still following that curve.
You know him best, trust your instincts x

How much has he put on since hospital discharge?

Kellbell...if he is feeding well, and heaps of wet nappies etc..i wouldnt worry too much

Cheshire...i am the same..i have so much girls stuff its not funny, i have so many boxes of clothes etc and this will be out last as well, and hubby probably deep down would like to have a boy but he produces girls

Mrs s....throughout my pregnancy i have had increased discharge..think it is pretty normal...as long as like you said its not fluid, or it smells then it should be ok.

Damprye..i havent had to use it at all this pregnancy until this week, last time i think i started using it at 4 months lol....im using my mums middle name this time, because last time i used Hubbys grandmothers name...i dont know i was just so sure last time with DD...this time i swap and change with about 4 names..so either ones going to click or there not the right name......

alish......yeah my hubby has the dark skin, eyes and hair...and im the blonde blue eyed one...DD takes after both..she has olive skin, and brown hair and eyes..with a maori nose ....this one looks different in the 3d..well it doesnt have there nose anyways lol...

    Hey dory...hope you're well

How you going reet....?? hey to everyone else

Alish-i was out shopping the other day with ella in a denim dress with pink frills around the bottom of it and butterfly embroidery on it with a pink long sleeve shirt underneath and pink and white striped tights and a lady still said is it a girl and you have seen her picture SHE LOOKS LIKE A GIRL with her pretty face so it doesnt matter there is still idiots out there who are clueless so dress your bub in whatever you want.

Angelfish-the doctors will keep an eye on you so dont worry.

Well after 3 boys i LOVE LOVE LOVE pink lol.

MrsS-when i was pregnant i was a constant dripping tap it was so gross but normal its just pregnancy hormones.

Hi Dory Tegam Reet Mildez everyone i have missed.

AFM-I am off for a pelvic u/s on monday as i am still bleeding very heavy and its almost 7 weeks so doctor not happy thinks it retained products after ella's birth.
Ella had her needles today poor sweetness she was not happy she now weighs 5kg and is 54.5cm long and her HC is 38cm so she is still a little cherub just a porker my friends bub was born with a head of 38cm and 57cm long and Ella is nearly 7 weeks so she is just plotting along nicely.
She is doing great on her zantac and NAN reflux formula much more content and happy.
Well best be off i wonder if i am in for a bad night with her after the needles.

Kelly: Jayden is sooooo cute! Sounds good that he's doing lots of wet nappies. Hopefully that will translate into some weight gain soon. My DD went through times when she was at the 50th percentile and other times down to the 25th and maternal and child health nurse wasn't too worried: she gave us a lot of leeway to see how we went before we worried about how she was doing. If Jayden is sleeping ok and not too unsettled that would also be a good sign i guess that he's getting enough milk to keep him happy?

Alish: lovely news on your girl. Very kind of you to give your MIL that special experience that she missed out on with her kids. (Ultrasounds weren't routine until the late 70's in Victoria i think). Oh, and re dressing in pink: I was determined to dress my DD in a broad range of colours but i sometimes found it hard to find stuff that isn't pink if you don't go to a range of more expensive stores. (eg Target is pretty obsessed with pink for girls). But it is possible: I found some lovely red, purple and light blue and brown things for my DD. But, like Ferrals, i also had experiences of people asking me if DD was a girl when she was a small baby even when she was decked out head to toe in pink girly stuff (and I swear she always looked like a girl. She's always been quite dainty!) So i agree: dress her in whatever you want : )

Melster: sounds like bub is sitting on something! When's your next dr check up? Oh, and I sympathise with you on the heartburn. I've been getting more and more of it the last three weeks and it's miserable. Really uncomfortable. Puts me off eating.

Tegam, Dory, and everyone else hi! (i haven't gone back too far to review posts. I'm a bit behind).

mrs s - hows it going? when are you booked in to have the babies again??

kellbell - he is gorgeous i dont know anything about babies & weight so i wont give advice

dampyre - yeah i hope she gets my skin too lol.. dh has redheads on his side so his skin is moley & freckly, mine is olive lol.. i was going to ask the u/s lady to see if its possible to tell if she has red hair as a joke but i dont think MIL would have found that funny haha!!

cheshire - i bet your dh would love a boy! not that having 3 girls would be bad but most men want a little boy! i was just discussing with my dh this morning about that and i said i bet we end up with all girls.. he thinks so too!

    melster - hows it goin??

ferrals - youre right, some people are idiots! esp when she was dressed in a dress, lol.. i mean, come on! sorry to hear you are still bleeding, hope they fix it quick!
did you have a good night with ella? glad she is feeling better now

tegam - haha!! i hope that never happened to me when i was a baby! i think all i ever was in was dresses and pink! how are you?

possum - a papaya this week! how are you going?
im finding that in lakes & bairnsdale i cant find a huge range of neutral colours, kmart is either pink blue green or yellow, never a mixture, so ive just been buying white. i prob need to go to melbourne, dh told me to stop buying things now as my brother & sister gave me all their baby clothes, half of them are still new with tags (that mum & i got them) so at least i get benefit out of it lol.. i must admit there has been a couple of cute pink things i wanted to buy but as soon as i do that everyone will find out!

hello to everyone ive missed! xx

kellbell, we had to top up DS for only a few days, but that was quite early - I tend to agree with the girls, as long as he's gaining, the jaundice is resolving, he's sleeping and doing plenty of wet nappies, nothing to worry about. Get a second opinion before you do anything you don't want to. If you're concerned about supply, when he's finished feeding, you can express (or just stimulate) with a breast pump to boost your supply. I'd do that before doing anything you don't want to! He'll tell you if he's hungry. DS was losing weight, getting sick and screaming his head off when we had to top up with formula (and only for 3 days before my milk came in on day 6 - he was over 9lbs, big boy to go hungry )

I'm feeling much better now, thanks for the good wishes I was another of those little girls who was mistaken for a boy! But Mum did dress me in my brother's hand-me-downs. But even if I was in pink... bald babies look like boys apparently. My DS was mistaken for a girl at 4 months while dressed in black pants, an ACDC jump suit and a denim jacket... But he had LOTS of hair.

    Hi girls!

I think I'm too far behind for persies, sorry! I had a bit of a scare, I kinda brought it on myself So I was quite sick with m/s for over a week, couldn't get out of bed or keep my eyes open etc. Had the scan Friday where all was good. Sunday I woke feeling completely normal, no m/s at all, not tired at all, my boobs still hurt a lot but I just felt like things weren't right. After a couple of days of me completely freaking out, DH made me see my GP Tuesday. He was also concerned so sent me for another scan which I had yesterday. Even though I had no bleeding or cramping I just had a feeling, the m/s just suddenly stopping didn't sit well with me.

But bubs is fine thank god. I'm glad I had another scan, I was absolutely convinced it was all over. I'm 8 weeks 3 days now, so guess I should just count myself lucky I'm getting over it sooner this time.

I'm thinking of hiring a doppler, has anyone else done this? I can see now that I'm going to freak out now & then, I can't keep having scans every week just to put my mind at ease...much as I'd like too!

I had the same freakout at 9 weeks CM - My ob said there is no harm in having weekly scans, it's much better than stressing out! A doppler wont help you until after at least 14 weeks or so - my friend's got one though, she bought it, have a look on ebay maybe? Good luck - at least it helps to know that freaking out is normal!
