Wow! Thanks Ferrals! Really glad you did say that cause i want to be as prepared as i can! The urologist did say that it would be very uncomfortable and to expect a lot of pain, bleeding etc... Ive been googling a lot about them and so many ppl say it is awful But unfortunatly i have no choice! Its either this or they have to would deliver bub now and i know this op is better for bub so i will just have to suck it up! My ob said that he do caesar at 37-38wk so hopefully i dont have to put up with it too long and i think once bub is out, the pain wont be as intense cause less pressure in there! Im hoping anyway!

The urologist said that i would be home the same night but im not counting on it! Im dreading the whole thing to be honest!! We are taking all our hosp bags just incase it kicks starts things!

Good luck T-Hopes i hope it goe's well and before you know it bub will be here.

Pain is something us women seem to handle i can tell you the night of my c section when i had no pain relief i thought i was going to die but i grit my teeth and put up with it thinking it was normal so we are stronger then we think and when our bubs are involved we will do anything.

    Thinking of you tomorrow.

Hugs Thopes, will be thinking of you. Rather than being cranky about your kidney not lasting the distance be thankful your body has done so well growing your baby! Wish there was more we could do! Hope you will have loads of support when you get home after the op!

gosh things are going from bad to worse - just got the awful news tonight that DH's mums battle with cancer is coming to an end. She was admitted on friday and the doctor said tonight that she has 2-3wks left in her, her pallative chemo has been feeding all the tumours and they are everywhere... poor darling, 54 y/old and may not even get to meet this bub that she has battled on for. so heartbreaking my heart breaks for my beautiful man, i cant begin to imagine the emotions he is feeling tonight. He is going thru the most traumatic event in his life with losing his mum and the most amazing time with the upcoming birth of his first child. He doesnt deserve this, no one does

    hello
I am just popping in to say hi and hope i can join you special ladies.
I am 6 weeks with number 4, lost number 3 at 10 weeks on new years day this year, a missed m/c. I have two kiddies, ds nearly 3 and dd 17 months. have been feeling very anxious and detached to this pg and last week felt so seedy and this week not so much, so of course freaking out.
Hope to get to know you all and share your stories/knowledge and babies!

T-Hopes: I'm sure your drs know what they are doing but i still feel worried for you. It seems such a shame that kidney can't hang in one more week so you can have your baby delivered and avoid the op... but i guess if that was the best option they would have said so! Sounds like you need something done more urgently. Glad you are prepared for all the possibilities. I will be thinking of you tomorrow and hoping that it is a smooth successful procedure. I hope your mother in law is able to hang in there just a bit longer to meet her grandchild. What a tough time for all of you. Hugs

Madame rogers: Welcome to the thread! Wishing you all the best for a sticky baby. It's very hard to relax after having a miscarriage once before but the odds are on your side for a take home baby.

CHeezelmonster: Counting down the days till your next scan i bet. I've lost track... will that be the 12wk one? Hope family stress clears up soon. Baby will be fine but it's not much fun for you.

    Alish: Yay the eggplant!
Oh, i had an idea about hiding the baby clothes from your family: what if you say that you are sorting out piles of girls and boys things so you'll be ready for whatever you get. (They don't have to know which pile you plan to use)!

Melster: My doctor said i could get a script for Zantac if the chewy tablets weren't enough to control the heartburn. (It's safe in pregnancy). Is that the same as the losec you are on? Is there anything else they can suggest for you? I know how you feel, bad heartburn is awful.

Ferrals: Glad little Ella is doing well. How are her big brothers adjusting to a new little sister?

Hi Tegam and Mildez! Great to hear from the new mummas!

AFM: Had really quiet day with baby Saturday and woke up to more 'quiet' on Sunday. I was just lying in bed turning from side to side hoping it would move. Even had a cold drink. Got little flutters but not a lot and was driving myself nuts with visions of horrible things going wrong. I'm ok most of the time but i can't seem to avoid these episodes of imagining the worst every few days. But today the baby was disco dancing and I felt better: Had a little chat to the baby saying "nice to hear from you! Looking forward to meeting you!" I wish every day could be like today... Looking forward to Sunday when i will be finishing up my 2nd trimester. Yay!
